Now Don Cherry's Sports Grill
Service was great, servers were great, Marissa and Julia.. had pizza it was very good.. they were good about putting on any particular games or sports on the TVs
Lunch AND dinner-great
This is now Don Cherry's. Staying in the hotel and after a very tasty, reasonably priced lunch with great service from Laura, I ate dinner here too. While I am not the sports bar type, and there are LOTS of tv screens for sports, I enjoyed the music and atmosphere. It was easy to enjoy good conversation with friends at lunch and I was very comfortable eating here alone for dinner. The decor is very nice too. I would eat here even if I was local.
Very Meh
The Fireside Lounge is now the Don Cherry Sports Bar... different name, same boring food and forgettable service. I sat in a quiet corner and after getting my lackluster wine and struggling to find something tasty on the menu, was promptly forgotten about until 40 minutes later when my tomato pesto pizza was ready. I doused it with salt to try to make it better and the waitress was very sorry (and very sweet) but this place is to be avoided... I'd rather have McDonald's, at least then there's no pretense of trying to be something it isn't. If all you want is to sit and drunk beer and listen to depressing music... this should be # 1 on your list.
