Excellent!

So we didn't plan to eat here, but I'm so glad we did! The food is SO good. The spinach artichoke dip is to die for! We sat on the patio, and I wouldn't have known I was in Crossville.

Very friendly pub and great food

We were looking for a place to watch the basketball games during a softball tournament and had a break and found this little pub. This was a great experience. The afternoon bartender was very good and friendly. We sat at the bar and they have other seating as well. Very friendly atmosphere. We had the burgers and fries and they were very good sandwiches. We even came back later in evening during another break and had several appetizers that were great and Josh the bartender was excellent as well.

Best Irish Food!!!

This place is truly a hidden Gem!!! My wife and I went there on December 15, 2023, and had a Fantastic Dinner. My wife had Fish and Chips and I had the Bangers and Mashed Garlic Potato. Both meals were OUTSTANDING!!! In fact, Their Bangers are the BEST that I have had in a very long time, they were Delicious. We will be going back there with my son tonight. We have recommended this Great Restaurant to several friends and will continue to do so.... We wish them a Very Happy. Blessed and Prosperous New Year. Paul and AnnMarie

Try this Place

Decided to go to Crossville for lunch today. Wanted to try a place we have not been. We were met by Tina and was told sit where you want, great. Found a nice table. The items on the menu are Irish, also the good Irish beers are here, plus other Irish drinks. Tina took our order. We were eating within 10-14 minutes. I had the Philly with beer cheese and the wife had the Rueben, with great sides. The food was very good. Don't know why I have not found this place sooner. Even the ice tea had a very natural taste, due to Tina cleaning the ice tea container all the time. Very good food and we will be back. Thanks to Tina for taking care of us. See you soon.

Great food with great service

We thoroughly enjoyed each menu item we ordered. We started off with spicy fried pickles and fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. Our entrees were Shepherd's pie with a salad and Beef with beer cheese sandwich with potatoes, cabbage and bacon. The servings were shareable and each food item was full of flavor.

Good Pub Food!

Good Pub Food and Great Service. We had burgers and the corned beef egg rolls. The egg rolls were great. The corned beef is cooked in house and is EXCELLENT. The waitress on Saturdays is fantastic and super efficient. They are closed Monday and Tuesday.

Lil' Gem in Crossville

Cute little place with Irish menu. Huge portions but make sure you save room for the bread pudding with ice cream! Service was great and the bar looked fun too.

Great Irish food & drinks!

We stopped here for dinner before a play at the Cumberland Playhouse and we were so glad we did. We started with a drink, an Irish Mule, which was excellent. The Reuben Eggroll appetizer was delicious as was the bacon covered Meatloaf. We will be back!

Very Casual / Indoor & Outdoor seating / Some Irish entrees

All in all a good visit. Irish items were fairly limited. I had bangers and mash... good. My wife had fish and chips battered in beer.... also good. most other items were burgers / etc. service was good venue interesting as it has been recently purchased by the same owners as the Beef and Barrel Restaurant located immediately next door. In fact, we sat on one of two patios and it overlooked the patio area of Beef / Barrel. That was " ok " except the other restaurant / lounge was having karaoke night and the participants may have been the worst we've ever heard. it was painful sitting there listening to them. we will go back as it's a nice diversion not a wow... but very nice

Great little place to eat

Such a great little spot to eat lunch. My family stopped on the way home from Gatlinburg. First time visit. Wish we lived closer so we could come again! Everything tasted fresh and homemade.

Hidden gem

Visited dublin's today for lunch. Nice bar / pub located in an old depot building located behind beef and barrel. 1st visit. Nice beer selection. Tried the sheperds pie, quite tasty and good portions. Salad was fresh and flavorful. Can't wait to try corned beef and cabbage.

It was our lucky day - Dublin's Crossing gets 5 stars!

As frequent travelers, we seek out private owned restaurants off the beaten path. Dublin's Crossing is a quaint Irish themed establishment with traditional Irish food. The setting is an historic train depot building with lots of character. The waiter, Matt L. was quite pleasant and answered my questions regarding foods I was unfamiliar with ordering. His customer service was spot on. Overall, the food was great - I recommend the spinach artichoke dip and Reuben Irish rolls. These are must haves! We were fortunate enough to strike up conversation with the husband and wife who are partners in Dublin's Crossing. For people who are interested in someday residing in Tennessee, it was a much welcomed exchange learning about Crossville. If we are ever back in this neck of the woods, or move into the area we will certainly come in again. Thanks for the hospitality! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Definitely Recommend!!!

While on vacation, we found this restaurant on Trip Advisor. It had good reviews so we decided to check in out. We were not disappointed. Excellent service was provided by Tanner. We had the 1 / 2 Pound burger and the Fried Shrimp Basket. We were quite impressed with the food and the value! Definitely Recommend!!!

My wife and I spent the day

My wife and I spent the day in Crossville and decided to try the Dublin's Crossing while we are not generally drawn to Pub type dinning establishments we we delighted with the food my wife had the fried Green Tomatoes for an appetizer and we had The Shepard's pie with a side of Bubbles and Squeak (potatoes, cabbage and Bacon), and I had Bangers and Mash. With a side of carrots. Both were delicious and we enjoyed a lot. It is set in an old Railway depot.

Dinner Out

My wife and I enjoyed delicious Shepherd's Pie and Corned Beef & Cabbage. Also, tasty Reuben soup. Good brews on tap.

Best pub in the area

This place is a must try. Wonderful building with historic significance. Friendly attentive staff and great food. Bloody Mary sliders and garlic fries are amazing. Burgers are huge, fresh and unique.

2020-08-27 15:28:03

Worst fish and chips of my life

Ordered the fish and chips and they were the absolute worst. What " Irish pub " serves frozen fish? Tartar sauce is from a bottle. It's like they aren't even trying here. The worst meal I've had in years anywhere. I told the server about it and his only response was " sorry man. " No discount. No attempt to make it right. Nothing.

Best burger in town

Great specials! Loved their burger and garlic fries! Can't wait to go back on our next visit - enjoy!

2020-02-28 11:35:52

new owners are amazing!

The new owners have added so many new menu items that are SO GOOD!! They have improved everything about this restaurant, and I am confident in saying it is one of my favorites in town. AMAZING burgers and wings!!!

2020-02-26 14:53:38

The Pretzel is to Die For!!!

Love the new items the new ownership have added plus the better quality of the food is great. You must try the Giant Pretzel with beer cheese!!!

2020-02-26 14:47:45

Best Fries in Town

I am obsessed with the fries. So crispy, fried to perfection! It seems a lot cleaner and well-maintained now. Neat little place!

2020-02-26 14:34:18

AMAZING wings!!!

I ordered a to go order of wings (both bone-in and boneless) for my husbands surprise birthday party because he loves wings. When I arrived to pick up, the food was ready and they helped me carry them to my car and had them placed in a box. The wings came with celery, blue cheese and ranch. The guests at the party raved over how good they were and how large the bone-in wings were. The Garlic Parmesan wings are the BEST!!!! I would recommend trying them for your next wing night out for sure!!

2020-02-26 13:54:07

Awesome!!

Great food and great service!! Love the Bloody Mary sliders, they are the best!! The quesadillas are a great starter!!

Dublin's Crossing

Great bangers and mash. The burgers are fantastic. Can't beat the Wednesday special on the burgers. The bar area is always entertaining. Highly recommended

Excellent menu... great options!

I had the Bloody Mary sliders, plus some amazing fries. Everyone loved their food, cheeseburger salad and hot pretzels also big winners for our family!

Excellent food

Excellent food. Comfortable atmosphere. Friendly wait staff. The menu is varied, great selection of food choices.

2019-12-18 19:49:16

Disappointed with new ownership

Burgers used to be amazing here and were cheap on Wednesday nights. Not impressed at all anymore. Quality and flavor is not there anymore and prices are up. Paid double for food that wasn't even half as good as it used to be.

2019-12-14 21:49:05

Jazz

Consider myself a regular, but not anymore. Second time very disappointed. Two bad meals in a row, once the whole family was unhappy with the food, and another with a friend. Why play jazz music?! But the tea is always great and no problem with the servers.

2019-10-30 10:07:10

New owners

Loved the spinach artichoke, shepherds pie, and Irish egg rolls. Great environment at the rail. I do miss Strongbow being on tap.

2019-10-11 19:35:17

Bangers & Mash!

I never knew Irish food till I tried this place. The Bangers were out of sight! I grew up on Italian food, and southern food, and now I know that the Irish know how to cook too, lol. the service was great and very helpful on deciding what to try. will stop again.

2019-07-29 12:13:12

Atmosphere and food

Cozy atmosphere with an interesting menu selection, although not strictly Irish in fare, still a nice spot for a bite

2019-07-26 00:02:47

Not bad but wouldn't go back

Our experience was overall good. My kids had chicken tenders and one had fish and chips. Nothing fancy but nothing overwhelmingly amazing. Wife had Scottish eggs which were ok but not as good as we have had at other Irish pubs. I had Shepherds Pie which was a great portion but the promised vegetables of carrots, peas, onions and celery were missing so it was just meat and potatoes with cheese on top. Everything was good - service was great given there was only one server. It was just not an experience that made me say " ooh let's go there again. "

2019-05-26 15:08:26

Dinner with Friends

We went with friends for the Wednesday burger special & it was very good. Large burgers & side for $6, I brought half of my burger home for the next day.

2019-05-19 08:19:58

GGG 2019

We went here for a late dinner and drinks. We were a group of 8 golfers with one of Irish descent. He said he can always find an Irish bar anywhere. The service was fantastic and we had a great time. Drank Smithwick's beer (smitticks) which is usually hard to find. The food was mediocre but it was late and the staff stayed past closing time to take care of us so they get a high star rating.

2019-05-11 16:20:21

Great lunch spot

Love it! Good food, large drink selection. Guinness beef stew in a bread bowl was fantastic. Located in a historic train depot, Irish music playing. Friendly waitress knew the whole menu.

2019-04-22 14:36:04

Only place for fresh pint of Guinness and Bangers in Crossville

I love my Guinness beer and good Irish comfort food. Usual Irish fare on the menu - Bangers, Shepard's Pie, Irish Stew with beef though - not lamb : ( All the Irish libations - Guinness, Harp, Killians, Jamesons, etc. With football (soccer) and rugby on the tele - it will make any Irish pub fan feel right at home. Glad I found this place - many more trips into Crossville for me :)

2019-04-21 14:23:31

Interesting... sort of

My son and I took a chance on this place when everywhere else we were considering seemed packed. Walking in, one is not inspired to stay by the small, broken-up rooms and secluded bar with no tables, only a bar. It's probably much like a true Irish pub would be somewhere in Ireland, dark and old seeming. We decided to stay and eat on the deck outside the bar. The waitress was fast and friendly, and very accomodating, and the food came quickly. We both had the fish and chips, which was very good, and a couple pints of Guiness. It was a good meal at a decent price with good service. It just wasn't somewhere I'll ever take my wife.

2019-04-13 13:25:46

Great little restaurant!

It's a beautiful building that was once a train depot and very unique!! Food was really good and the waitress was wonderful! Keep in mind this is food with an Irish twist, but do let that keep you from going it's great, especially the burgers. I noticed kids with burgers cleaning their plate and could not resist one..... YUM!!

2019-03-20 10:31:59

Cool little spot in an old train depot

Stopped in as I always do to Irish Pubs. The food was good, the service was good. It was priced ok. We had a great time on the deck after eating doing Karaoke and having a few more drinks. All in all, I would stop in again when I am in town.

2018-12-11 17:06:51

Historic Building, Great Irish American Food, Friendly Service

Hard to believe a town this small could have such a quaint spot for Irish-American food. I've never had a bad meal here. The Shepherds Pie is super and the burger is one of the best in Crossville. Bring your appetite because they don't skimp on portions.

2018-10-30 09:06:18

Love the Atmosphere

The Rueben egg rolls and Shepard's pie are AMAZING! The employees were very kind as were other patrons. Strong bow on draft! Definitely Recommend this place

Quaint Irish Pug in a Train Depot

I love this place! Quaint small pub and eatery with Irish dishes. the Irish stew is wonderful! Served in a crispy crusted bread bowl, it is perfect for a cool fall lunch. The Reuben egg rolls were a first for me and melted in my mouth - definitely on my preferred list. Prices are reasonable. Will most definitely return again and again.

Great Irish pub in a cool old train depot

Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. A bunch of friends did a take over of the bar one Sunday afternoon and a good time was had by all. I had the stuffed hamburger called the Irish Locomotive and it was off the hook.. the beef seemed to be of a very high quality. Their pub fries aren't very Irish but they're delicious.

2018-07-10 09:33:01

Cute!

Very cute and cozy..... an old railroad depot moved from elsewhere. Burger and Bangers and Mash with onion gravy were good. Not great, the bar in Crossville is pretty low, but we'd order them again. Good service. The bar is friendly with outside seating. There was a lively crowd on Sat night.

2018-07-02 20:44:44

Lots of Irish in the menu

The menu listed all the items you expect in an Irish Pub - Bangers & Mash, Shepard's Pie, Bubble & Squeak, and of course, Fish and Chips, etc. Since Fish & Chips was special of the day - did not need to study the menu in detail. Nice, but not exceptional fish - but the chips (fries) were exceptional. Also on special was dark ale which nicely complemented the Fish & Chips.

2018-06-18 17:55:51

Excellent Irish / American food

Been there several times and enjoyed it every time. Small place so either make reservations or get there early. Can also eat dinner at the bar. Nice menu, Irish and non-Irish items. Full bar. Highly recommend it... service is great too!

2018-04-27 17:47:19

Skip this place

First time visitor, not coming back. Must be new management because the food was awful. Not like what the other reviewers stated. In my party we ordered pretzel sticks with cheese / beer sauce, it was great but rest of the meal was not. Frozen preproceesed fish sticks were not what I expected for fish and chips and shoestring french fries are not chips. Irish stew left a lot to be desired also, not much flavor. Hope it gets better for other guests.

2018-04-23 19:23:04

no Irish here!

I guess good fish n chips with a cold beer was beyond my expectations. very disappointed with the service (waitress would not shut up and leave us alone) the beer selection (only 2), and the dried up over fried fish sticks and crappy french fries they dared to serve. worst of the worst. better fish at McDonalds

2018-02-24 18:24:48

Now serving dinner

4 friends. Two ordered fish and chips. I ordered Depot sandwich w pastrami and swiss. Last was brats infused with Guiness. All meals were great. Killians for $2 pint. Will be back.

2018-02-24 15:55:35

Hamburger Special!!

We decided to try the hamburger special at Dublin's Crossing on Wednesday & we don't regret it. One of the best burgers I've ever had with fried for $5. I brought half of mine home because they're so big, but my husband at all of his 1 / 2 lb burger.

2018-02-18 00:23:41

Nothing Dublin here

The focus of this place is the old train station that was relocated to the backside of another business... when you walk in you are left wondering, wait to be seated or seat myself? The food is average and as many many items you would never get in an Irish pub. The decor also is a far cry from what a pub looks or feels like. They did have have a great pint price is 2.00 for Killians Red, which we all know is an American beer but seemed to be promoted to those who don't know, as Irish. The burger was average and some cheese covered waffle fries with chicken cut up was served as a starter. The fish and chips with cole slaw was tasty and probably a good choice. Again the history of the train station was the most impressive thing about the visit. One easy suggestion, serve your Guinness in a Guinness glass.... that will make for a nice visual Improvement in the right direction. The photo of the Guinness in the plain pint glass was here, the other photo was taken in a real Irish pub, it's all about presentation!

2018-02-13 17:51:31

Love the Pub

The small pub inside this restaurant is warm and cozy just like a pub in Ireland. Seating inside overall is minimal; however, the friendly staff and great food are a reason to return. Great burger and fries for $5 on Wednesday's.. nice selection of Irish beers

2017-12-09 11:41:30

Another fun time at Dublin's!

We went back to Dublin's & enjoyed another great meal at a fun place! Food is good, staff is friendly, ambience is good.

2017-10-04 18:52:23

Crossville's Best Kept Secret

I've lived here for ten years and have tried almost every restaurant Crossville has to offer! This is the by far the best food in town!

2017-07-09 13:32:55

Dublin's Crossing is a friendly place in Crossville

Being new to town, I tried out Dublin's Crossing. The bartenders are friendly and carry on good conversation. The menu is limited but they make a great burger. Beer choices are very limited. This should be their opportunity to expand their offerings. At least a few craft beers like Highland Gaelic Ale. I enjoyed both of my visits. I will be back in the very near future.

2017-07-07 00:27:48

Great Irish Food

If you are a train history buff you need to eat here this place is an old train depot converted into a small Irish Pub. They have a few authentic Irish dishes also some American meals too. Both the food and Service are excellent I ate Irish my other family members ate American.

2017-06-25 16:12:50

Not that Irish

An Irish place should have good corned beef and cabbage. This was not good. The corned beef was tough and the cabbage skimpy. They filled the plate with carrots. If you are just looking for Irish beer, then this is the pace for you. Have the hamburger, the fries were great.

2016-12-23 08:03:51

Almost perfect!

We went to dine early, as we had heard it fills up fast. Very pleasant waitress, Katie. Cute railroad themed decor in a converted depot. Several small dining areas due to the original layout. I had the Reuben sandwich that had tons of lean corned beef and not too much dressing or sauerkraut, delicious! The side of red potatoes was sad; no skins, no seasoning, no flavor. The Irish stew in a bread bowl was fantastic, but it was lukewarm. We will be back! Suggestions: put an occasional Irish tune in your music rotation and stock Smithwick's in your bar.
