CONTINUING THE TRADITION OF BLANCHE AND BILL'S PANCAKE HOUSE. Located in West Bridgewater Vermont, Drewski's On The River is formerly known as " Blanche and Bill's Pancake House ", has been serving the unmistakable and irresistible famous Pancakes and Waffles that has been perfected for more than 40 years. Drewski's On The River, re-opened on May 2016 and is located in West Bridgewater Vermont just few miles from the Killington Ski Resort Skyship Gondola. The owners, Chef Drew and his wife Francine, is continuing to serve the famous pancakes and waffle recipes and will grow the tradition of fine, homemade, fresh and locally sourced food.

Warm, welcoming, and wonderful delicious food!
From the moment you enter, you are treated like you are family... They are glad you are there and you feel very welcome. The dining room is very clean. Coffee tasty and hot, The food is delicious and has a nice presentation. The waffles and pancakes are a Heavenly delight! Chef Andrew is amazing... YUM!
Best Burger in the world!
Andrew is a magician in the kitchen. Drewskis is our go to restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner every other Tuesday.
The best Reuben Sandwich!!!
After researching a place to stop for lunch on the way to Killington, Drewski's caught my attention with great reviews. It exceeded my expectation providing inexpensive fabulous food served with pleasant quick service.
Delicious breakfast
The skillets were huge and delicious. My son loved the pancakes. None of us were able to finish our food, the portions were so large. The cute girl who served us was very kind. Would recommend!
Great breakfast spot. Nice find along US-4 in VT
Had breakfast at Drewski's over the weekend. Missed the rush by a few minutes (around 9:15 on a Sunday). Waitress (and owner?) was the best - cheerful and friendly. Did not rush and recommended a few dishes. The seating area is small but there is a foyer you can sit and wait in - turn around time for tables looked reasonable while we were there ~15mins).
Still Great Pancakes
We had breakfast at Drewski's earlier this week and the food was great. I had eggs and my wife has pancakes, both were great and reasonable.
This place is a gem!!
I read the other reviews and said I need to try this place. I'm tellin ya, I was not dissapointed. The portions were big and delicious, I had the Biscuits and Gravy and my wife had a Veggie Omelette, you can tell it was fresh and made to order. This was the best meal we had on our trip to Killington, VT.
Good food, cozy place
Stopped here on the way to Lake Placid from Boston. Stopped in for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The sandwiches are made with care and attention. We had a grilled cheese and BLT. The sandwiches are HUGE so you might consider sharing. The tomato on the sandwiches was ripe and tasty (a rare thing these days). The wait staff / hostess was friendly and attentive. Bathroom was spotless. Highly recommend!
Don't miss this place
We found this place through a yelp search while visiting for a wedding. Food was very good and cooked to order. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Blueberry pancake special was delish. If you are in the Killington area this is a go to place !
Tuesday Night Home Style Dinner
What a great home town experience eating at Drewsk's On The River. Just $15.00 a person for a great home cooked meal. We always leave with leftovers.
Excellent food, great service!
This is a small family owned diner directly off route 4, right next to the river. We had a group of 6, and came for brunch around 12pm. Our waitress was very attentive, very friendly, and very sweet. Prices are extremely afforable, and has a good selection for breakfast (skillets, eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, hash plate). Every item we ordered was perfectly cooked and everyone was happy with their choices! The small diner was very clean, and they take credit cards! Our waitress was kind enough to let all 6 of us pay with our individual credit cards. They also have a good selection of hot sauces for your meal, to our surprise. They also have separate breakfast and lunch menus, but you can order breakfast anytime. There is plenty of parking. We were so happy to have found such a homey, excellent place so close to where we were staying. We want to come back! Bottom line: Drewski's is great. You will not be disappointed.
Not your typical Diner!
We were told we had to try the pancakes and we were not disappointed, they were fabulous! Even my children had rave reviews for the pancakes and warm syrup. I tried the hash and it too was very tasty, and very filling! The staff were so friendly and courteous. Our waitress even helped us plan out our day of things we really should see while in VT (if not skiing.) Drewskis will definitely be on our stops when we come back next year!
Great roast beef
Stumbled across this place a few weeks ago and got the RB sandwich. To tell you how good it was - I was disappointed when I drove by last night and they were closed - and today I went out of my way to get it again.
Very good breakfast
This place used to be called Blanche and Bill's. My husband and I had breakfast here. I had a breakfast sandwich bacon egg and cheese on an english muffin, and a side of home fries. Very good. My husband had a corned beef skillet (potatoes served in a hot cast iron skillet, covered with corned beef and eggs. Also delicious. Would like to come back and try lunch.
Best pancakes ever
We had breakfast here both days we were in the area and both times it was superb. Cosy, local type place with the most delicious food. I'm still dreaming about the pancakes. In fact, I'd probably fly back to the US just to eat them again.
Delicious
Hubby had the homemade corned beef hash (which was delicious) along with two eggs. I, the two eggs with extra crispy bacon. Equally as good. Not a fancy place, but good homemade hearty breakfast for the money.
Waffles & Pancakes, best around
A la mode, if you dare. Great satisfying breakfast and lunch menu, clean, friendly, family-owned & run (formerly the infamous Blanche & Bill's, that we frequented for decades). Weekends are reliable, but call ahead or check Facebook on weekdays to ensure they are open.

Maybe the best burger ever?!
Visited on the recommendation of a local. Hard to live up to the hype, but this burger did so. There are many great burgers in this part of the world, with lots of great local beef, bacon and cheese, and this one really stood out. Even the roll was unusually good - also from a local bakery I believe. Service was terrific - right at the hands of the owner, whose husband runs the kitchen. This place is hard to see until you are actually driving by it. Plan ahead so you know where it is. about 15 minutes from Killington ski resort. Doesn't get any more local than this. Very worth stopping!
Best Breakfast in Vermont!!
A warm greeting from the Francine the owner make me feel right at home. The decor is fresh and welcoming. I had a breakfast skillet that was delicious! Fresh and perfectly seasoned so I could taste all the ingredients. I can't wait to come back for breakfast and lunch!
Amazing waffles!
Drewski's On The River provides an nice atmosphere and great service, but what truly sets it apart is the food! My family makes it a point to find the best breakfasts when we're on vacation - and Drewski's delivers. The waffles are amazing, the home fries are perfectly seasoned and cooked, and the corned beef is tender and delicious. Whether you're staying in the Killington / Okemo area or shopping in Woodstock, you have to try Drewski's. You'll want to go back.
Waffles sooo good!!
The waffles and pancakes are the best I ever had.. My husband love their omellets.. and also the skillet menu are so good... You must stop and try this restaurant Drew ski on the river.. The owner are so friendly.. The place is clean... Been there for few times.. They serve also Tuesday family dinner.. Good serving of foods for one person for a good price.. M

Best. Pancakes, Ever. Love this restaurant. While humble on the outside, the inside is bustling with delicious food. We have only sampled the pancakes, because that is what we keep going back for, but I have no doubt that the rest of the menu is exceptional as well. If you are ever within striking distance of Drewski's on the River, be sure to drop in for a meal. You will be glad you did!
Stopped, did not go in
Im sorry to say as soon as we pulled in, my husband said keep going. Was not appealing from outside. 10:30 in the am and only 1 car in front as well. Sorry

The best waffles on Earth. Borderline great sausage links. Coffee. OJ. Good service from Francine. This breakfast heaven closed for a time, but the owners moved back and reopened it, for which we're very thankful. Every other Tuesday they do a fried chicken dinner that you want. $15 gets you a great meal with plenty of leftovers for tomorrow, no matter how good an eater you think you are...
A great place for breakfast on Highway 4 in Bridgewater Corners, Vermont
I was returning to Boston after visiting my friends Pam and John in Castleton, Vermont. I had seen Blanche and Bill's Pancake House on my various trips to visit Pam and John and always wanted to stop by and see what they had to offer. On a few occasions it looked as if the restaurant was closed so I did not stop. I actualy had driven past the restaurant but decided to pull a u-turn and give it a try. I am glad I did. I love omelettes and decided to get one of theirs that is called " The Kitchen Sink ". Not only did the omelette have everything in it as promised but it was a good size and tasted great. This particular omelette has bacon, ham, sausage, corned beef brisket, onions, peppers, zucchini, spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes. The potatoes served with the omelette were good and I always order dry wheat toast. The service was good. Banche and Bill's is a relatively small restaurant but no doubt does a good business as Killington is not that far away. There may have been 7 tables. Four of them were in use while I was there. I spoke to a couple that was sitting next to me and inquired as to how they liked their breakfast. Both parties said they really had enjoyed what they ordered. I also overheard another table who were also quite pleased with their food. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are ever in the neighborhood.

This is one of the best place to eat pancakes. great service. We went to eat by surprise just on our way to see fall colors. If you are in area this is must go place for breakfast / brunch.

Always the best breakfasts. good, straightforward breakfast food that is a treat. I am partial to the blueberry waffles, others love the eggs or pancakes. It's all good with a nice family atmosphere.
Breakfast Time in Vermont!
We try to eat at this place for breakfast at least once during our annual fall trips to Vermont. Although Blanche & Bill are no longer there and those wonderful RED SOX photos and banners are gone, the food is still hot, homemade and very good. Great waffles, pancakes and eggs! Outstanding and friendly service with reasonable prices. Clean!
A hidden gem that is at the top of the charts for food!
While vacationing in Killington Vermont last month, we came upon this restaurant on the side of the road that didn't look very interesting. But seeing all the cars in the parking lot, we decided it must be where all the locals eat. We did eat there on 2 occasions during the week, and if we had more time, we probably would have eaten there again. The first time we went in, our party of 4 with infant had about a 10 minutes wait with the second time we were able to get our table right away. The owners wife made the infant in our group very comfortable with cut up fruit and refills with milk in his bottle. The owners young child also came out of the kitchen and entertained our grandson for a few minutes, which our grandson really enjoyed. My son order the 7 pancake breakfast with sausage, d-i-l ordered a waffle, wife ordered a couple of eggs with bacon, home fries and toast and I ordered the frittata. All had orange juice along with either regular or decaf coffee. Well, let me tell you, the portions were very large as you won't go hungry for a while, everything was cooked perfect and the service was just great and the price was spot on. If I am up in this area again, I will definitely stop in here for breakfast again.
Great breakfast!
Right around the corner from our hotel, this little restaurant served an amazing breakfast - plenty of options, even for the picky eaters with us, reasonable prices, very clean. I will definitely go back next time we're in town.
Best Breakfast food you could imagine
This place is great. Wonderful pancakes and breakfast type food. Generous servings. Must stop if you are in the Bridgewater Corners area.

Always a great meal and service. Busy on the weekends as it is so close to Killington. Worth the wait!
Tuesday night dinner is absolutely delicious
We happened upon this little dining goldmine while staying down the street in Bridgewater during our vacation. They had a sign out front advertising their Tuesday night dinners, so our family of four headed over to try it out. You are limited to three entree selections, but you have a multitude of side dishes to choose from. Food is served family-style so a group can share and try all the scrumptious dishes they offered. Come early as once they run out of an item, you are out of luck for the night. Southern-fried chicken was to die for and shrimp sauteed with bacon and scallions was out of this world. Sides like cheese grits and swiss chard with him were straight-out the South yummy. Totally worth the money. Staff was friendly and fun.
WE (still) LOVE BLANCHE and BILL'S!
We were concerned when Blanche retired from what is probably the most popular breakfast spot in the area. No worries. Waffles and pancakes that (still) somehow seem more delicious here than elsewhere, breakfast combinations and options up the wazoo, and friendly and competant waitstaff that make you feel welcome. Very humble but charming ambiance. Be prepared for a wait if you come later than 9am on weekends, and note that they're closed Tues and Wed. Otherwise, this place is a breakfast gem and 'must visit' on your way through Killington, Bridgewater, Woodstock or Plymouth.

We were very impressed with new owners obviously intent on providing top quality food. Excellent Pancakes, with delicious Wild Blueberry Preserves made fresh every morning. Teriffic Fritatta perfectly cooked and presented piping hot in individual cast iron pan. Lovely soup with very good bread. Although we usually have problems finding 'sure-bet' really good places to eat, this one is truly special. Very moderately priced, the friendly atmosphere is inviting, & we plan on going back very often & feel safe in telling all of our friends about it.
Best Pancake I ever Eaten!
We found this pancake place on our way to Woodstock, VT... we were starving and decided to eat breakfast. The pancake was the best, they have lots of pinned wall signs of breakfast combination of specials. I cannot find the combination I want and, the waitress told me that i can customize my own. so I ended up having 2 pancakes, ham and 2 eggs. they serve a pure vermont maple syrup and made the pancakes really good. my friend decided to order french toast, eggs and bacon. Their staff are very nice and friendly. We will definitely stop by and have pancake next time we visit Vermont.
Undeniably Awesome
Blanche and Bills (www.blancheandbills.com) is a quaint, authentic, and perhaps the most delicious Pancake House east of the Mississippi. Located on Highway 4 on the way to Killington Ski Resort, this small and genuine Pancake House serves up some of the best breakfast (and lunch) food around - Open 7am - 2pm (closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays). I've eaten there 3 times, on 3 successive days, and each day seemed better than the previous. The pancakes are outstanding, but the waffles are incredible. They definitely keep the recipe a secret, and I can understand why. They buy all of their supplies locally (sausages, eggs, etc.), and it's a favorite hang out for the locals. Enjoy the incredible hospitality, but come back for the fantastic food. No ski boots in the restaurant please!!!
Perfect breakfast nook!
After attending a conference at the Killington Grand hotel, an not having any substantial meals available to us, we were more than excited to stumble upon this spot for breakfast on our way out of town. It is family owned, and as soon as you walk in (past the menagerie of grandchild photos) you feel like you are in someone's kitchen. Half of the place is devoted to Red Sox memorabilia and there are witty hand written signs lining the wall. The menu and place mats are basic paper, and you can tell they really started this place from scratch which adds to the charm in my opinion. In addition to the friendly atmosphere and wait staff, the true home cooked breakfast was DELICIOUS. I had a simple combo of poached eggs and cheese on an English muffin, and my colleague had a special designed by the grandson of 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, 2 sausage and 2 slices of toast! Both meals together, with coffee was less than $30 with tip! Very impressive! We left, full and happy to continue our long venture home. I would recommend this little hole in the wall to anyone looking for a simple place with outstanding food and service!
