Below expectation
Visited the restaurant for diner, relying on the reviews. The meals were below the average quality comparing with the restaurants near by. On top of that, the live band music was too loud and also not very good, so we could not hear properly each other talking. Not worth taking trips to visit the place for diner.

Disappointed, will not come back again for sure!
When we have arrived there were guest at 2 more tables, made the order and after more than 1 hour we got the first part of the ordered food. When asked about when will we get the meal, did not get normal answer, just a generic soon.... The restautant and the serving was below average... Danube is nice... We have ordered fish soup, it was nothing special, we expected something more special, better prepared meal. It was not bad, it was average, but the price is much higher than it should be based on quality. Definitevely not coming back.
A friendly place serving mostly fish
Charda Pickets (Pikec) is a fish restaurant specialising in its famous fish stew and other specialities. It is located on the tri-border of Hungary, Croatia and Serbia, and is actually in Serbia. The food is good (for those who like freshwater fish), the staff is generally friendly and the atmosphere genuine. There is a nice view of the great Danube river. If you are in the area it is certainly worth paying a visit.

Perket od kečige = smeće
Narucili smo perket od kecige. Perket je bio vrlo los, nisu uklonili kosti tj. hrskavicu s ribe, u ribi je bilo ljuskica, riba nije bila svježa već iz zamrzivača. Znači jeli smo perket od neočišćene kecige sa dodatcima ljuskica od ribe koja nije očišćena kako treba. Vino Banatska graševina im je kao pišaklina, kao da je razvodnjeno vino, najlošija voda je bolja od toga vina. Sve u svemu vrlo loša hrana, dno dna. I za tu lošu uslugu smo platili 1200 RSD po obroku, što je preskupo. Osoblje je bilo ljubazno, no to ne umanjuje loš dojam i nekvalitetnu uslugu. We ordered a helmet perk. The perk was very bad, they did not remove the bones or cartilage from the fish, there were shellfish in the fish, the fish was not fresh but from the freezer. So we ate a parcel of uncleaned helmet with fish flakes that had not been cleaned properly. The Banat Graševina wine is like a squeak, as if it were a diluted wine, the worst water is better than that wine. All in all very poor food, bottom to bottom. And for that bad service we paid 1200 RSD per meal, which is too expensive. The staff were friendly but that did not detract from the bad impression and the low quality od Food.

A Magyar Konyha, a Gasztroangyal, a Bűvös Szakács blog valamint a Gault Millau kalauz egyaránt elismeréssel szólt a Rév csárda, halászos halászléjéről ". Ezen ikonikus ételnek köszönhetően a jeles műintézmény megkapta az említett étteremkalauz, Kulináris örökség " díját is. A halászlé ily módon való elkészítésének ősforrásaként a bezdáni Pikecet szokták emlegetni, úgy tudni, hogy a Rév csárda alapítója, Tinusz Gábor innen hozott hallé-főzőmestert. Mindezek okán régóta készültem e halászcsárdát meglátogatni, a minap egy zombori utazás megadta hozzá az apropót. A beltér hangulatos, rusztikus és vendégmarasztaló. A Duna ott folyik el a csárda ablaka alatt. Halászlé két adagtól rendelhető, a két adag ára 1800 dinár, ami valamivel több, mint 5000 forint. Ez nem kevés, viszont a végeredmény kiváló és akár hárman is ehetnek belőle. Jellegzetessége, hogy erős lángon, lobogó vízben főzik, friss halat és kiváló paprikát használnak, így aztán, rendkívül finom, koncentrált, selymes levet kapnak. A halhús persze túlfő, mint a dunai halászlé esetében általában, de azért marad valami az élvezeti értékéből. (Az lenne a tökély, ha ebbe a lébe főznének elkészülte után frissen irdalt pontydarabokat, persze ezzel feladnák az évszázados módszertani hagyományt.) Sült halat is kínálnak, a megszokottnak mondható ponty-harcsa-süllő hármas mellett dolgoznak csukával, kecsegével és keszeggel is, amit nemcsak sütnek, hanem pörköltet is készítenek belőlük. Mivel sejtettük, hogy a halászlé laktató lesz, csak haltepertőt és keszeget kértünk azon kívül. A tepertő kiváló volt, friss pontycsíkokat ropogósra sütötték, majd hagymakarikákkal tálalták. Adtak mellé nem túl meggyőző tartárt és érdekes módon burgonyasalátát is. A füstölt, majd marinált keszeg is finom volt, akárcsak a desszertünk, a málnás sajttorta. Kiemelkedő, egyedi élmény volt a Pikec csárda, jó eséllyel benézünk még, ha a környéken járunk.
Fish restaurant

Soha többet Pikec!
Hosszú-hosszú (több mint másfél óra) várakozás után vegyesnek mondott, de csak harcsából készült sótlan, ízetlen és alig langyos halpaprikást kaptunk három főre ugyanannyi mennyiséget, mint amikor két főre rendeltünk. Reménykedtünk, hogy a sült kecsege majd kárpótol, de sajnos ehetetlen (állott-romlott) volt. A természeti adottságok kivételesek nem úgy, mint az ételek és a kiszolgálás. Sajnos ártott a felkapottság, romlott az ételek és a kiszolgálás minősége ugyanakkor az árak elszaladtak, számunkra a hely elvesztette minden varázsát.

Lugar muy agradable, con una excelente sopa de pescado que hacen con la pesca del Danubio justo al lado y de manera tradicional. Lugar muy agradable, buen servicio. Buen precio aunque quizá caro para un salario serbio. El único problema es que tardan mucho. Tiene tronas
Razocarenje
Zaputili smo se tamo ocekujuci odlican riblji paprikas buduci da je carda na glasu i zbog par pozitivnih komentara koje sam ovde procitala. Ambijent nista posebno, pristojno da kazemo. Konobar je bio ljubazan zaista ali ono zbog cega smo dosli-razocarenje. Klopa ni priblizno dobra, meso lose najblaze receno a paprikas- jela sam mnogo mnogo bolje i to po najobicnijm cardama. Najvise sto mogu da dam je 3 isti. A porcije! Mimimalne!! Pa treba da ih je sramota sto ono iznesu na sto. Pojeli smo testo koje je zaista domace i ukusno inace bismo ostali gladni. I sa susednih stolova smo culi iste komentare. Sramota za cardu koja se hvali paprikasem. Zao mi novca koji smo ostavili, nit je bilo ukusno nit smo se najeli. Nikad vise tamo.
Halpaprikás 2 kg halból
A halpaprikás, amit négyünknek készítettek, pazar volt. A Dobos torta szintén. A sült halak is finomak voltak, a kecsegét kivéve. De ez lehet, hogy a mi hibánk, addigra már túlettük magunkat.

Visszajáró vendégek voltunk, de az utóbbi időben minden alkalommal valami rosszabb lett, mint előzőleg. Eleinte az étterem látogatás minden alkalommal felért egy időutazással, abszolút jó értelemben. A tegnapi vacsora sajnálatos módon már szinte ehetetlen volt. Iszapos ízű lé, keserű paprika íz, csípősség nélkül (pedig úgy kértük, jó erősen) zsíros, sótlan hallé. Egy órát vártunk, pedig alig volt vendég, a szúnyogok iszonyúan nagyok és irdatlan mennyiségben támadnak, erre fel voltunk készülve, de a borzalomra amit vegyes halászlé néven kaptunk, na erre nem. Szerettünk ide járni, mert minden alkalommal a primitív körülményeket ellensúlyozta a kiszolgálás és a finom ételek. Mára már csak a Duna part és az üdülőtelep az ami miatt érdemes idelátogatni.
Mocskos csárda, lassú kiszolgálás, szörnyű ételek
A halászléről híres a hely, régebben legalabb az jó volt ott. Most viszont már az sem ízlett senkinek a társaságból. Az egyéb halételek íztelenek, vagy túl sósak. A grillezett hal épp hogy megsült a grillen, pont a füstös grill-íz hiányzott belőle. A sopszka salátában hatalmas darabokban volt a hagyma és alig volt benne más zöldség. A dobostorta piskótájának nagyon furcsa erős citromsárga színe volt. A kiszolgálás lassú volt, pedig kevés volt a vendég, és a pincér összekeverte és elfelejtette a rendeléseket. Az asztalterítő foltos, a poharak és tányérok zsirosan maszatosak voltak. A mosdó olyan koszos és büdös mint egy nyilvános WC az autópálya mellett. Igénytelen, gusztustalan hely. De szép a kilátás. Igaz, a csatornában alacsony volt a víz és az iszapból rothadás szaga áradt...

Čarda na prelepoj lokaciji - tik pored Dunava, vidi se Baranja i spomenik Batina. Osoblje vrhunsko, dobio sam besplatnu kafu. Jela nisam probao ali verujem da su na nivou svih ostalih čardi. Ocena 5 najviše zbog lokacije i gostoprimstva. Vredi posetiti.

Divna mala cardica na obali dunava, s prijatnim osobljem i izuzetno ukusnom hranom! Svaka preporuka, mesto na koje se vraca!!!
Nagyon jó, szívből tudom ajánlani
A legfinomabb halászlé itt készül. A bajaiak itt tanulták a receptet, próbálják jóízűen csinálni - de nem sikerült még nekik! A bezdáni halászlé itt a Pikec-csárdában tökéletes! Háromnegyed órával előbb telefonon lehet szólni - az adott időre elkészül a legfinomabb halászlé! Nagy adag, nagyon finom! Adnak hozzá házilag készített tésztát (nem gépi, nem bolti!), valamint igazi friss, aznapi bezdáni kenyeret, ami szintén kuriózum!! Nem lehet abbahagyni... Ha tehetjük, elmegyünk negyedévente-félévente, csak úgy, csak halászlére, mert itt az igazi!!!! Nem elegáns, nem Hilton-minőség... de egy igazi halászlénél nem ez a fő szempont!! Ja,.. a házi pálinka is kiváló...!!.

Nije lose ako jedete ribu, cevapi su bili pokvareni a njih smo na zalost narucili za decu. Usluga je takodje kilava, konobar ne donese pola stvari, prica sebi u bradu...
Csalòdás volt
A hely hangulatos, a kiszolgálás megfelelő, viszont sem az étel sem a mennyisége nem volt az! Nem leszünk visszatérő vendégek, ez biztos!
Relaxen aan de Donau
Eten met een mooi uitzicht op het water op een steenworp afstand van Kroatië. Pikec is in principe een visrestaurant maar omdat ik al veel vis heb gegeten de afgelopen weken kies ik deze keer voor een schnitzel met frites en een Sopska salade. Het restaurant ligt midden in een park met weekendhuizen en heeft een gezellig terras. Uiteraard kun je ook binnenzitten en kun je er ook alleen voor een drankje of een ijsje. Je kunt je auto parkeren op de grote parkeerplaats bij de ingang en een stukje wandelen naar het restaurant. Je kunt ook parkeren bij het restaurant. Als je in de buurt bent is een bezoek de moeite waard.
Finom ételek, hangulatos hely
A dunai halászléjük finom, csak 4 adag alatt nem állnak neki megfőzni. A sült halakat is nagyon finoman készítették el, a teraszon ülve pedig remek órákat lehet eltölteni. Az egyik idősebb magyar felszolgáló szolgált ki minket, így nyelvi problémánk sem volt.

Zuppa di pesce...
Di passaggio era l'unica csarda aperta in zona. Ambiente caratteristico e caldo con terrazza affacciata sul Danubio. Zuppa di pesce favolosa accompagnata da pasta fatta in casa da condire con la zuppa stessa. Ottimo anche il vino bianco della casa. Conto basso per qualità e quantità.

The restaurant is on the left Danube bank with a nice patio and view on Batina monument. Fish menu is perfect, especially stew (fricasee). You may enjoy slow food and atmosphere.
Great fish restaurant
A friendly fish restaurant at the Danube river. Very close to the Croatian and Hungarian borders. It is a popular place, frequented by locals and visitors from the neighbouring countries. The staff speaks several languages. The fish is the freshest possible, from the nearby river. The carp was the tastiest I have ever tried. The area is famous for the high quality of the local paprika powder. The most popular dishes are the fish soups, which are prepared on wood fire. The smallest portion is for 2 persons. The smoked fish with local fresh cheese was great. The fried fishbelly (haltepertő) is huge portion. In Summer pleasant outside seats. Highly recommended, worth a visit.
Čarda i to prava
Sta reci za Pikeca, riblji restoran (čarda) riblji paprikas preferira, čorba i normalno sve vrste slatkovodnih riba, ima i rostilja. nalazi se na samoj obali dunava kod mesta Bezdan. Netreba ga hvaliti, sam se hvali dugogodisnjim radom, ali casnim i postenim. jednom recju PREDOBRO.
A legjobb halászlé nyomában....
Sajnos nem itt találtam meg. Viszont nagyon finom volt minden. A halászlé, a friss házi tészta, a haltepertő. Fenomenális!!! A házi Dobostorta mindent vitt. Dunaparti pici csárda, pompás kilátással. A felszolgálás monoton, biztos a sok vendég miatt, de korrekt volt. Foglalás erősen ajánlott. Máskor is lehet hogy betérünk. Mindenkinek ajánlom.

Ovaj put smo probali kolače i utisci su različiti... Tiramisu je bio odličan a Čizkejk je bio star, suv... Kafa dobra, osoblje ljubazno.
Fantastic Čarda na dunavu
Beautiful small čarda on the coast of Dunav. Fantatstic decarations, live music, best river fish plates. Very affordable prices. During weekend gypsy band plays awesome live music during diner. Excelent wine by famos musician Zvonko Bogdan called 8 Tamburaša. Excelent and very nice staff.
Birthday mother in law
Every year we are in Sombor we visit Csárda Pikec. This year we celebrate there the birthday of Jolán my mother in law. Pikec is a beautiful situated restaurant in Bezdan at the Bank of the Duna. When you look to the other side you can see Croatia. Today we eat fish paprikas. It was delicious.
Jót enni itt érdemes
Célzottan egy jó evésért érdemes ide látogatni! Hal minden mennyiségben, háziasan. Ritka slow food! Relatív kevés étel de az biztosan itt készült! Vsodálatis halászlévek, házi tésztával! A dobos csodálatos !
Fantasztikus halpaprikás
Több izben jártam itt. Sehol ilyen finom halpaprikást házi tésztával nem ettem. Dobos torta mintha a nagyi csinálta volna. Kicsit naturális, de a jó ételek felül múlnak minden hiányosságot.
Good fish, friendly place
I was in the restaurant 2 times. It's not an exlusive look like restaurant, but the outside view is fantastic, the food is like grandma's homemade dishes. It is very close to croatian-serbian border, where policeman even know where the restaurant is. I recommend to taste first courses, which are mostly homemade cooked fishes preserved in oil, and taste great. For main dishes we tried several fish perkelt and soup also. They were all enjoyable and taste great with a small spicyness from local paprika.
Legjobb halcsárda!
Isteni finom halételeket szolgálnak fel. És ami hibátlan benne hogy helyben készítenek mindent. Megkérdik milyen halból, mennyire legyen csípős, és már rakják is fel a bográcsba. Megéri kivárni mivel isteni a halpaprikás (mi délvidékiek így hívjuk). Aki igazán jó halpaprikást enne annak a Pikec a legjobb választás. Nekem az egész családias, és az otthoni ízek jönnek elő.
Fantasztikus
Családiasan mentünk kifejezetten a csárdába, Pécsről. Fantasztikus volt a halászlè, teljesen más mint itthon, de elsőosztályú!! A hallé után sült halakat ettünk finom hagymás krumplisalátával, az is finom volt. Rendeltünk még a híres dobos tortából is, mely szintén isteni. Kaptunk ajándékba friss finom fánkot is, ez nagyon szimpatikus volt! Mielőtt elindultunk haza még bevásároltunk a házi olajos halakból, azt sem szabad kihagyni! Szóval köszönjük, remélem mihamarabb újra menni tudunk! Csak ajánlani tudom!

A halászlé tényleg nagyon jóóó! Viszont a kiszolgálás csigalassú. 3, 5 órát ültünk két adag halászlé miatt...

Čuveni riblji paprikaši i riba spremljena na žaru oduševiće sve ljubitelje ribljih specijaliteta, a biće servirani neposredno uz vodu, što će kompletan užitak dodatno naglasiti.
A hal meg az ő leve
A legjobb hallé, amit valaha ettem! Még a bajai barátok is pironkodva vallották be, hogy talán ők sem ettek még jobbat. A hallére kb 45 percet kell várni, akkor teszik fel főni, amikor megrendeled, nincs előre lefőzve semmi. Addig érdemes a kajszipálinkát és a füstölt marinált keszeget megkóstolni. Desszertnek a 12 lapos dobostorta a tökéletes választás. Szerbiában még rá lehet gyújtani mindenhol, de van van külön füstmentes terem is.

A čarda worth visiting!
Visited the place with an older uncle who enjoys food and my 3 children. The style is a cross of traditional čarda and classic town-restaurant, on the Danube at the entrance of the Baračka offshoot (used to serve as a winter-time anchorage for tugboats). With the huge patio in tree shade, one has a great view of Batina across the river, the lush green shores of Danube / Baračka and can enjoy the frequent passage of ships up and down the river, as well sighting herons, possibly kingfishers, and the frequent splashing of asps. Uncle and I enjoyed very much the freshly made, medium spicy fish paprikaš of mixed fish (typically carp, pike-perch and wels catfish) without heads or tails per request. It was cooked over wood-fire in a traditional kettle, using the locally grown and prepared aleva paprika (nearby Bezdan is known for it) and served with home made noodles. Needless to say, we savored the stew, the rightly-cooked fish and the noodles, served hot from the fishpot - it was an enjoyable reminder of a specialty i haven't eaten in years before. The children not so enticed by spicy stews or picking fine and pointy bones of fried freshwater fish, ordered the typical Serbian pub-fare dishes: pljeskavica and ćevapi. These were not grilled, but fired rather, hence they complained that it was a bit greasy, but they ate it all with the home fries and salads served. Finally the children shared a chocolate and a cheese cake which were very well made. As with any čarda or restaurant offering a more traditional fare and focusing on quality of the food in Serbia, the wait for the paprikaš to be prepared is a bit longer (we waited for a good 40min) and one should anticipate that. Thus it is a great place to relax, sit with company for a while enjoying the surroundings and chatting, and perhaps shorten the wait with some fine rakia with an appetizer. Otherwise, if on a tighter schedule, one can call ahead of time and arrange for the food to be done by the time of arrival.
Amazing place, delicious food!
" Pikec " is our favourite restaurant for eating an excellent fish dishes. We have been there several times and always got a perfect cooked and well balanced fish soup with homemade noodles. Fried fish with potato salad is great too! We have a business card so we usually call them and make an order, but if you go there for first time please be ready to wait your dishes is cooked ! I highly recommend this place for all who likes river fish!
Duna-parti csárda
A csárda közvetlenül a Duna parton van. Főleg hal ételeket készítenek és mindent frissen. Emiatt az átlagosnál többet kell várni, de megéri türelmesnek lenni... :) Desszertnek a dobos tortát ajánlanám.

Disappointed, expected more!
In this restaurant serve only fresh fish from the Danube river, witch is two meters from the restaurant terrace. They will tell you that you need to wait 50 minutes at least, for your meal because they will cook it after your order it. When the waiter bring the food to you, you will be so hungry that everything will be tasty!
The northest carda of Serbia
It's like a travel to another world: a real balkan restaurant, in a good way. The restaurant placed on Danube bank. We used to visit it many times, and we like it very much. Not the nicest, not the brightest, but a very good adventure. The staff is really nice, and the food is really unique. For example: first dish i recommend the smoked fish (dévér) with onion and bread: they made it at the restaurant. The speciality of the restaurant is the fish soup (halászlé, hallé, halpörkölt, etc.), they made it on open fire, after your choice of fishes, with a fantastic paprika growned in the area, they serve it with home made pasta.
