Lovely place, great location
This place is great, it is about the closest you can get to the prettiest beach in Kata, which is also the prettiest beach in the area. The staff is very polite and helpful and they speak proper English. They helped me with everything and made sure I had a wonderful holiday. They arranged trips, transportation within town and to the airport, provided accurate information, motorbike, jet-ski, boat, equipment rental... everything! The rooms are clean, and it is very important to point out that they have clean water, a good filtering system, therefore taking showers and the hygiene was just like at home. The beach nearby has all the amenities one can wish for, the white sand is wonderful for walking and the water clear and it's very safe. Indeed a very romantic place! The discotheques and shops are all very nearby, but the room was nice and silent and I got very good sleep. They only have a few rooms, therefore make your reservation way in advance. I will stay there again every time I go back to Kata.
Booking cancelled due to " Renovation "
I booked this hotel, which has 4 rooms, via Agoda in September for 4 nights during peak season in January. Last night, I was informed by email that the hotel was closing for renovation over this period and could no longer accommodate me. As this is the height of peak season, I wonder if there wasn't some kind of booking error. Obviously, I'd love to have given a review after a great stay at the hotel but this serves as a warning to those who are looking to book for the near future. I am now left with 8 weeks to try and find a decent hotel in the area that isn't already fully booked.
