Mooi en rustig, basis comfort
Mooi en rustig gelegen. Prachtig uitzicht over de Toscaanse heuvels. De appartementen zijn basic ingericht, proper en voorzien van basis comfort. Onthaal en service is vriendelijk. Als het erg warm is (wat bij ons het geval was) zijn de boven gelegen appartementen minder aangenaam. Er is geen airco en er is niet overal een ventilator.
Eté 2017 !
Nous avons, cet été si chaud, passé trois semaines à la Selva. Cet endroit si beau, emprunt d'une histoire, où l'on sent en se promenant dans les jardins magnifiques, un passé si prestigieux ! Nous aurions tant apprécié une climatisation, à la Terrazza. Toutefois nous remercions Patrick Spencer manageur, qui a su répondre à nos souhaits... Merci Patrick. We only stay one place now when we're in Tuscany.

I feel blessed to say that after over the past 10 years, we have stayed in 4 different villas, and each one seems to exceed the other in beauty, amenities, and comfort. They never disappoint. And I feel certain that is because of the wonderful owners, Sherry and Riccardo who treat everyone as if they were family. So whether you just want relax by a pool or go mountain biking or go wine-tasting or site-seeing in near by Siena, Agriturismo La Selva is perfect place to begin your journey

Gast auf dem wunderbaren Weingut der Familie Patrizi zu sein ist Privileg genug. Eine Traumimmobilie, die ihre legendäre Histrorie atmet. Top gepflegt und ein Gastgeber, der einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abliest.
Beautiful place
We spent a wonderful week at Casa Felciai on this property. The location was superb, with beautiful views in every direction. It is situated on a quiet country road and the evenings were quiet with lots of opportunities for looking at the night sky. It is also well located for visiting most of the major Tuscan sights (Siena, Florence, Arezzo etc), and Perugia and Assisi are within striking distance. It is situated on the southern edge of the Chianti region so and the towns of Radda and Gaiole are close. The property was well furnished, and the bathroom for each bedroom much appreciated. The only negative comment I would make is that the industrial dishwasher didn't really work for a self-catering group of 17 - great if you have a staffed kitchen but otherwise needed too much supervision. Two regular dishwashers would have worked better. A book of 'house instructions' (how to work the dishwasher, what to do with rubbish, where the supermarkets are, details of local restaurants) would have been useful but isn't essential. The service provided by Patrick, the manager, was excellent. All issues were promptly attended too (including the lizard that blocked the boiler in the annex), and the wine provided on arrival was much appreciated. We had a wonderful week visiting the local area as well as relaxing in the grounds of the house. We are now working out when we can return.
Gorgeous!
Lovely grounds and buildings. Views are breathtaking. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Rooms are well maintained and lovely. Each unique. Wifi was available and quite quick. Can be a bit daunting to find, but well worth the trip. Close to Siena, Florence, San Gimigiano, and tons of other note worthy places.
Wonderful place with fantastic staff
We stayed four nights and what an experience. Beautiful place with a magical surrounding. The villa apartment we stayed in was comfortable, clean and spacious. The bed was king size and comfortable, bathroom was a nice size and modern. This villa is about the outdoors. The wonderful views, the nearby great restaurants and the small villages void of tourist. It is close to Sienna, Florence and Arrezzo if you want the tourist experience. The pool is first class as is all of the property. BUT this place is all about the remarkable man that runs the Villa's - Patrick Spencer. He is the best host I have every seen. Makes sure every need is met and the restaurant recommendations are unbelievable. He sends you to places the real Italians eat. Just a great experience and I highly recommend for a relaxing Tuscany experience.
