A excellent non chain outdoor shop
This establishment has a fine selection of hard to find, outdoor items. They carry lots of quality name brand items. That will not be found at the mall.
Very helpful staff
I was here for a writing conference and found the sun murderous. The sales person helped me find a sun hat that even had a nice neck flap. I may have looked a little weird but it saved the day. And it came in useful on my driving trip afterwards

Personal attention, knowledgeable staff, great selection and all the name brands. I come here for gear for around town, travel, and outdoors activities. They are very friendly, and extremely helpful with my multitude of questions. I really feel like I was able to get the right gear for my needs. Thanks and I will be back!
