Cozy clean century old home
This was booked for my husband and myself for one night along with a play as a gift from my daughter and her husband who had stayed there a year earlier. The young couple who run it have done a beautiful job of updating and decorating their home, and make you feel welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was delicious and fresh baked banana bread, fruit, coffee and tea were available all day. Loved the area and would not hesitate to return.
Amazing yet Affordable Gem
My goodness! Our host could not do enough for us. There was coffee and tea, muffins out for us any time and a living room to relax in. Breakfast was excellent. The 100 year old home has been fixed up with antiques and interesting themes to the bedrooms. There is even a jet tub in the shared bathroom which also had a hair dryer and curling iron. Our bed was very comfortable and the sheets the softest I have slept in, honestly! Wifi and tv were excellent. Their prices are much better than the $200 plus a night in many of the Stratford B & Bs. It is not right downtown, but we walked there during the day, about 15 minutes. There is lots of parking around the theatres so distance wasn't a problem. We very much recommend Robin Goodfellow.
An excellent B & B!
The hosts are super people and very courteous. Our room was very comfortable and we loved the vintage decor throughout the B & B that was coupled with modern amenities where needed. The breakfast was excellent and we'll be sure to return when we are in the area.
Wonderful B & B in Stratford, Ontario
We stayed at the Robin Goodfellow B & B for 2 nights while visiting friend in Stratford, Canada. It was a wonderful experience and our hosts were amazing. They are a young couple who did a fantastic job restoring this home into a B & B paying attention to every detail. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was all updated with a Jacuzzi and rain shower. We had a made to order breakfast that was delicious and we chose when and where it was served. This couple went above and beyond to welcome us in their home. Stratford is an amazing place to visit.
