Couldn't be better!

I loved everything about Salt Spring Island's Duck Creek Bed and Breakfast, which is located on the border of a beautiful natural forest that offers an easy trail into a truly enchanted landscape that stirred memories of childhood fairy tales.. My room was comfortable (and temperature-controlled), with a luxurious bed and beautiful artwork on the walls. Out in the back was a lovely little duck pond (with resident ducks, of course) and also a small flock of busy, healthy chickens who were watched over and discreetly kept in line by a friendly shepherd dog. I had the pleasure of dining on one of their fresh eggs one morning... the home cooked breakfasts were simple but altogether superb. The proprietor was a wonderful, thoroughly hospitable hostess. I really enjoyed meeting her. I am hoping there will be a room available when I return in June. I was there for only a short while, but it was one of the best experiences I have ever enjoyed away from home. Sheila Cox
