The most disgusting experience with desk management is my 35 yrs of travelling, Only one word for that woman. " C " word
Stay away from this place, the manager does not care about you. She will go out of her way to be miserable and mean. Her speaking tone is seeped in anger and disdain. She should not be in the hospitality business at all. Go to Super 8 or Travelodge.
Highly recommend
great home style food. Friendly staff, awesome service. You must try one of their homemade pies, they are so yummy. We stop here everytime we are in Meadowlake and we have never been disappointed. Wish we lived closer so we could regularly visit.
excelent dinner
We ate dinner in the Nor'Wester Motor inn on Sept6, 2019. We had steak and shrimp, our meal was excellent. The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Our waitress was courteous and attentive. The staff seemed happy while doing their job. Very good home cooked food.
Great food
Love going here for supper or lunches. They are always really fast at getting your food out without skimping on quality. The bar is big for a large group of people if that's what your looking for... and wing night Wednesdays!!!!I haven't stayed in the motel part.
poor
the room feels like a cave and it has very very poor slow internet, probably the worst internet i've ever used before. The tv is pretty small and far away from the bed and in a uncomfortable spot. The beds don't feel comfortable it could use more snacks and a few other things. I woudnt recommend staying here.
cheesetoast
Felt sick like I was drugged or food poisoned. Ordering this like the third time thinkin the first time was great. Second time burnt and third time criminal. Meaning this has to be looked into and charged.
Terrible
Upon arriving the cable went out of commission.. we asked for a discount for services not rendered... or our money back as we were there for only 4 hours. The clerk was very flustered and her manager arrived.. who was very disgruntled (puttting it midly) she seemed very hostile when talking to us... I got very bad vibes when getting our money back.. she was very rude.. never going there again
1980's
It feels like there's been no upgrades to the rooms since the 80's, the towels are old and rough, the cold air comes in around the door and the rooms are just out dated. The price is very reasonable and the restaurant has awesome food.
Decent budget priced hotel
The Nor'Wester is a budget priced hotel. I was working in the area and required a clean comfortable bed, and I found that here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are updated (but not recently). My room had wifi, microwave, coffee maker. I've paid more for less at other places, so if you require a clean, comfortable bed at a reasonable price this place is all that.
Ick!
Dirty carpet, furniture, grout in bathroom was disgusting! There was a sign advising that the water was not safe to drink, but no drinking water was provided. There was a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee? Noisy, old and dirty. Never again!
