Good place to stay in Trinidad
Lovely accommodation in a beautiful town. The room was clean, the breakfasts tasty and the hosts very friendly. A definite plus point of this place is the location, it was very close to the centre. We are happy with our stay here and can recommend it to others.
Fabulous casa in Trinidad
Very nice place to stay. Perfect location, very close to the the main square and streets. The hospitality of Gabriela and Consuelo was amazing. Clean room with a lot a space. The amenities are complete. We highly recommend this casa. We felt like we were a part of the family.
Super consigliato
Super Consigliatissimo ! Abbiamo soggiornato in questa casa particular ad aprile, e siamo stati accolti da una padrona di casa gentilissima. Le ragazze (due sorelle) che gestiscono questa casa sono molto disponibili, simpatiche e gentili. La colazione è ottima, piena di buona frutta, buon cafe e anche una buona torta che preparano loro. È sempre bello riuscire a dialogare e confrontarsi con i cubani perché sanno lasciarti qualcosa nel cuore, i sorrisi, la simpatia, il carisma.
FASCINOSA E CENTRALISSIMA
Siamo nel cuore del centro pedonale di Trinidad. L'ingresso è suggestivi, si attraversa una magnifica sala da pranzo (ove vi si fa poi colazione) e si arriva alla zona delle camere. Camere spaziose, pulitissime e di stile. Ottima gentilezza e cortesia del personale che oltre ad averci trattato benissimo, ci ha organizzato una giornata fantastica con taxy privato nella valle de los Ingenios... da fare!!!!!!!!... prezzo basso e corretto (diffidate dei venditori di gite fai da te in strada) A 2 minuti dalla famosa scala e da tutto! Very very disappointed
Unfortunately we are unable to provide a true and honest review on this Casa. as we did not stay here. Upon our arrival we discovered the owner had overbooked for the night of our arrival and did not have a room for us despite our confirmation by email that we had three nights booked. We took it upon ourselves to find alternative accommodations for our visit to Trinidad
Meravigliosa!
Abbiamo soggiornato qui, purtroppo, solo due notti. La casa si trova in pieno centro a pochi passi dalla casa della musica, dalla famosa scalinata con musica dal vivo, dai bar e ristoranti e dal mercatino. La camera era bella, spaziosa, pulitissima e luminosa. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile, internet all'interno della struttura gratuito senza l'utilizzo della carta telefonica, una raritá a Cuba. Colazione in terrazza fantastica una dele migliori del nostro viaggio, dovessi tornare a Cuba tornerei sicuramente qui.
Posizione centralissima
Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti in questa casa particular a Trinidad, si trova proprio in centro, vicino alla casa della musica! Le camere sono molto confortevoli e pulite! Come anche la cucina che è a vista. Colazione abbondante e ottima Gentilezza del proprietario e della sua famiglia. Inoltre si può anche cenare perché è anche un ristorante, abbiamo cenato due volte, il ristorante è accogliente e con una bella atmosfera, i camerieri molto disponibili, la cucina gustosa e fresca, ci sono i pescatori che al mattino passano a vendere il pesce appena pescato ! Lovely B & B
The equipment is simple but comfort and cleaness of our room was fantastic. The hosts are so kind and very friendly and helped us with recommendations to structure our days. Doing organization of tours and transfers for us, because our Spanish is not so good. Breakfast one of the bests in Costa Rica. Dinner in restaurant was also fantastic.

Bellissimo
Eccellente struttura, a partire dal ristorante e dalla camera doppia con i due letti a baldacchino. Molto pulito, ristorante buono e personale molto gentile e disponibile. Punto di forza anche la terrazza che fa vedere gran parte della bellissima Trinidad. Posizione ottima, a pochi passi dalla piazza principale. Unica pecca il rumore delle persone locali che la mattina presto montano il mercatino sottostante la casa e urlano un po', ma noi astuti abbiamo chiuso le finestre e acceso l'aria condizionata. Une valeur sure à Trinidad
Alex nous a accueilli très chaleureusement. Nous sommes ravis de notre passage dans sa maison. Vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés. Il est possible de se manger dans son magnifique restaurant où comble du bonheur on y mange très bien. Les chambres sont très propres et agréables. Bref, un séjour inoubliable dans une ville inoubliable. Encore merci Alex pour ton accueil et ta gentillesse. Si nous revenons dans ta ville, il est sur que nous viendrons chez toi..... !!!
Nos gustó mucho
Estuvimos tres noches este verano. Habitación grande, y limpia. Camas cómodas. Ale muy amable, nos ayudó con todo lo que necesitamos y con el taxi hacia Cayo Guillermo. Volvería sin duda!! Y lo recomendaré. Gracias por todo!

Siamo state in questa casa io e la mia amica 3 notti a fine agosto, ci siamo trovate benissimo da tutti i punti di vista: posizione eccellente, camera ampia dotata di tutto, colazione buonissima, personale gentilissimo e accogliente e Alex, il proprietario di casa, super disponibile i tutto!! Un incanto!
fantastica! fin da subito con un cocktail di Benvenuto. La stanza per tre spaziosa, fresca, silenziosa e pulitissima. dotata di aria condizionata, cassaforte frigobar i letti comodi e grandi. Magnificamente arredata. Situata nel pieno centro di Trinidad ideale per una passeggiatina in tutta tranquillita dopo cena accompagnati da splendide musiche e gente allegra e socievole. La colazione alla mattina e' abbondate e varia, frutta caffe cioccolata dolci marmellate succhi di frutta frittatine pane biscottii... di tutto di piu.. una vera delizia! il ristorante e' fantastico abbiamo cenato li' ogni sera durante il nostro soggiorno, ottima qualita' servizio e varieta'. Yamilet e Alex i proprietari sono di una gentilezza estrema e si sono prodigati in ogni modo per farci sentire a nostro agio e a darci ottimi consigli. La sera la cena e' accompagnata da un ottima musica live e un cocktail offerto dalla casa. assolutamente da non perdere!
Great seafood
We tried that restaurant after our landlord's suggestion. We really enjoyed the dinner. I recommend the paella with fresh seafood. Great service as well: they were so kind to us and also the live music made us so comfortable.
Muy recomendable
Alojamiento genial para visitar Trinidad. La ubicación es perfecta, justo en el centro pero habitación tranquila, sin ruidos y con aire acomdicionado. Todo estaba muy limpio, el desayuno muy bien y sobre todo destacar la hospitalidad y amabilidad de Alex y Yamilet que nos ayudaron con las dudas, a planificar visitas, taxis, etc. Sin duda lo recomendaríamos.
Ausgezeichnete Unterkunft im Zentrum von Trinidad!!!
Dieses Haus ist etwas vom besten, das ich je in Kuba besucht habe!!! Ausgezeichnete Betreuung, Tips zur Handyreparatur, saubere Zimmer, ausgezeichnetes Essen im Hotel und dazu noch sehr gut gelegen!!! Der Chef sorgt auch für die sichere Unterbringung der Autos! Die Dachterrasse bietet sich zum Verweilen an!
Très bon restaurant à Trinidad
Dans la vieille ville, dans le centre historique de Trinidad, un peu à l'écart des autres établissements, bonne adresse pour un bon repas. Les serveurs sont sympathiques et accueillants, la nourriture est bonne, la salle est belle, les prix sont corrects. Le porc à l'annanas est un régal.
Tolle Casa im Kolonialstil mit top Frühstück
Will man ein bisschen in die Kolonialzeit reinschnuppern, so ist man hier genau richtig. Unser Zimmer war sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück, das wir auf der Dachterrasse einnehmen konnten, war eines der besten, das wir auf Kuba hatten. Im angeschlossenen Restaurant kann man die Sandwiches als kleinen Snack für zwischendurch sehr empfehlen.
Superb accommadation and food
This was easily the best accommadation we had during our stay in Cuba. Our hosts were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room was spottlessly clean- we got the single beds we requested and the air conditioning worked!The casa was just off the main street so wasn't noisy but was only a few minutes walk away from the main music bars, markets, art gallery and museums. It was by far the tastiest food we had in cuba and reasonably priced. We really wished we'd stayed longer in Trinidad. Thank you Alex and Yamilet for a wonderful stay. Alex and Diane.

Comfortable and close to Plaza Mayor
We had 3 nights at this casa. The young couple were very friendly and helpful. The room was large, clean and comfortable. Good water pressure in the shower. Mini bar, roof top with tables and chairs, next to markets and short walk to main square. A car from the bus station can drop you about 100 metres from the casa due to cobblestone roads. A bici-taxi can get you to the doorstep but you might find the trip a bit rocky.

Grazie ad un amico esperto di Cuba abbiamo soggiornato 3 bellissime giornate in questa splendida casa particular con ristorantino in stile coloniale a Trinidad. La Villa è carinissima con camere pulitissime e molto accoglienti. Il ristorante buono e l'atmosfera davvero suggestiva secondo me il migliore di Trinidad👍 Ringraziamo soprattutto ad ALEX e la moglie, i proprietari, che ha reso il nostro soggiorno ancora più bello con le loro gentilezze e simpatie e con le nostre lunghe chiacchierate serali. Wonderful casa, wonderful hosts, wonderful location!
Wow! What a great place. The outstanding hosts and staff who give you a warm welcome to their beautifully restored building truly want their guests to have a pleasant and enjoyable stay. And they succeed! The rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean. Furthermore, the location is ideal for exploring the historic area of Trinidad. Thank you Alex and Yamilet for all your hospitality and help during my time in Trinidad. You do an excellent job!
Excelente cocina y amena velada
Nos encantó la comida (felicitaciones al chef, especualmente por la ropa vieja de cordero) y el servicio especialmente atento y agradable. ¡Y enhorabuena a los músicos del local! Les compramos un CD y todo. Merece la pena.
La mejor estancia en Cuba
La habitación era espaciosa, con ventilador, silenciosa. El patio interior muy tranquilo, el salón muy cómodo, y la comida, muy buena (desayunos y menús). Alex, el anfitrión al que conocimos (no tuvimos la suerte de conocer a Yamilet), es probablemente la mejor persona con la que nos cruzamos en el viaje. La estancia fue maravillosa.

El lugar es precioso y tranquilo, y Alex es un gran anfitrión, amable y atento. En el restaurante podrás además disfrutar de unas cenas muy ricas! Muy bien situado en trinidad, a 5 minutos de la plaza donde están todos los bares, música y ambiente de Trinidad. Un 10 de lugar!

Most welcoming place in Cuba
This was the most welcoming place in Cuba. We stayed somewhere else but had breakfast every day in this lovely place. Several times we returned for lunch or dinner. The food is delicious. Service is outstanding. Everyone who works in the casa has only one objective. " Make you feel welcome ". This place felt like a second home to us.
LUGAR CON ENCANTO, MUCHA PERSONALIDAD Y PLATOS EXQUISITOS!
Hace un año visité con mi madre el restaurante para cenar, y quedamos encantadas tanto con la comida (platos preparados con mucha exquisitez, raciones generosas y muy saludables), así como con la atmósfera y el trato del personal. Un año después, regresé con mi esposo, y nuevamente nos enamoró! La carta es tan variada como deliciosa. Tanto es así, que la última noche de nuestra estancia en Trinidad, decidimos cenar la última noche nuevamente allí, ya que para qué ir a otro lugar si para nosotros es el mejor de Trinidad! Recomendable 100% GRACIAS A LA CASA VIEJA por su amabilidad y generosidad. Esperamos regresar muy pronto.
Ottimo soggiorno e ottima accoglienza
Siamo stati per due notti con colazione inclusa, ci siamo trovati molto bene. L'accoglienza e la disponibilità dei proprietari sono state ottime come la cena che una sera abbiamo deciso di fare nella struttura con sconto perché alloggiavamo all'interno. Consigliato.
Hermosa Casona y anfitriones muy cálidos!!
Pasamos 4 días maravillosos gracias al confort y la calidez del Hostal Colonial Casa Viejal. Sus dueños Yamilet y Alex siempre pendientes de nuestras necesidades, super serviciales y muy amables. El primer día nos tenían preparado un mapa con un itinerario para poder recorrer la ciudad, lo cual nos fue de mucha ayuda! El desayuno y las comidas Increíbles! La ultima noche me despedí con " ropa vieja de cordero " y un mojito ESPECTACULARES. Sin dudarlo volvería a Trinidad y a esta maravillosa casona, tan bien restaurada, que ayuda a revivir aquella época colonial. Saludos!!
Best Restaurant in Trinidad, Cuba (Vegan / Vegetarian, too!)
We literally went to the Casa Vieja restaurant every night we were in Trinidad. Food was delicious. My girlfriend is a Vegan and they even made a special dish for her (and they will now start to include vegetarian / vegan food in the restaurant). I had great chicken / pork and shrimp dishes. The flan is excellent and also gazpacho. The restaurant is also very beautiful in a building that is from the 18th Century. The wait staff is also very friendly. Enjoy, David
Bon resto
Nous avons mangé à la Casa Vieja et nous n'avons pas été déçu. Localisé en centre ville mais pas sur les artères principales, le resto n'est pas pris d'assaut par les touristes mais la cuisine est bonne et copieuse, dans un décor très colonial Cubain. Nous recommandons les côtes de porc !

Wir haben dort sehr gut und lecker gegessen. Die Chefin hatte an einem Abend dort auch noch Geburtstag und alle Gäste bekammen Kuchen. Sehr herzlicher Service. Waren gleich 2 mal dort zum Essen, immer gerne wieder.

Meilleure casa particular de notre séjour à cuba ! Excellent accueil! Emplacement idéal proche de la Plaza Mayor ! Chambre de très bon goût et propres, petit déjeuner copieux (fruits frais, œuf bacon, toast, viennoiseries cubaines changeant tous les jours, délicieux jus de fruit frais) ! Hôtes agréables, souriants et de bons conseils ! Rien à redire, c'était parfait :)
ESPECTACUALR Y BONITA CASA COLONIAL
Casa colonial muy bien restaurada y cuidando los detalles. Habitaciones amplias y muy limpias, con un estilo que te hace viajar en el tiempo, pero con todas las comodidades para que tu estancia se haga muy llevadera. El baño amplio y muy limpio. Destacar el trato de los trabajadores y de los dueños, sobre todo de Álex. Sin duda de las mejores opciones de Trinidad. Recomendable totalmente. Muchos saludos a Álex y Jorlanis puentes de Lorena y Ramón.
stilvolles Kolonialhaus mit ausgezeichnetem Restaurant
Das wunderschön renovierte Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse mitten im alten Stadtteil. Die Zimmer und das Restaurant sind sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Yamilet und Alex sind sehr warmherzige, hilfsbereite Gastgeber, sodass man sich vom ersten Moment an zuhause fühlt. Auch das Personal im Service und in der Küche ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Frühstück war eines der besten, das wir in Kuba hatten. Dasselbe gilt für das Nachtessen. Die Küche ist ausgezeichnet und fantasievoll. Die breite Vielfalt bietet eine willkommene Abwechslung im sonst oft eintönigen kubanischen Speisenangebot. Auch ohne Übernachtung eine empfehlenswerte Adresse für ein gutes Essen. Jederzeit wieder!
Accueil chaleureux, chambres dignes d'un hôtel au prix d'une casa particular
Très belle expérience chez Alex et Yamilet. L'endroit est idéalement situé et dispose d'un restaurant, ce qui est très pratique. Les chambres sont rénovées et s'apparentent plus à un hôtel. Alex, notre hôte, a été extrêmement disponible pour nous aider dans divers problèmes liés à notre voiture de location! A recommander définitivement!
Very beautiful casa with the most lovely hosts
I really love this casa and cannot think about a better option if you are looking for a close location to Plaza Mayor, with wonderful helpful hosts and nice rooms! I stayed there in June and they gave me a warm welcome. If you like colonial style you will love it as well. The rooms had been renovated and are very clean and comfortable. They all have 2 beds, a well working air condition (very important for that hot season), a fridge filled with water and beers etc. and a beautiful bathroom with a little window. The breakfast is excellent! They also have a big fridge in the Main Area, so you can get water or other drinks any time you need it. (Which is not the case in other casas...) The hosts Yamilet and Alex are wonderful people! They help you with anything and make you feel like being at home. And they have a cool bar at playa Ancon! I Had tasty Cocktails there right at the Beach. So i can highly recommend this casa! I stayed in many other casas around Cuba, I travel a lot... but here you will like it like everybody else. I booked my next Trip for december and will stay there for 2 weeks in trinidad. Muchas gracias Yamilet and Alex, see you soon! Besos
Situation et lieu exceptionnel à Trinidad
Une magnifique maison coloniale, avec patio à l'ombre, situation exceptionnelle au cœur du centre de Trinidad aux rues piétonnées, donc au calme. La chambre (2 grands lits) est superbe avec beaucoup de charme, très spacieuse, propre et confortable. Petits déjeuners pris dans la belle salle du restaurant colonial, délicieux, copieux et frais. Nous avons dîner un soir de très bons plats de poisson grillés. L'accueil de Yamilet et Alex pendant notre séjour était parfait, sans cesse aux petits soins pour nous et de bons conseils, très bonne communication avec les clients. Forte recommandation pour le professionnalisme de cet Hôtel restaurant.
Como en casa
Lugar muy fácil de encontrar y después de llegar a el quieres quedarte para siempre. Confort y limpieza al máximo. El trato, la hospitalidad y el respeto reina en todo el lugar. Cuenta con servicio de habitación y éstas en mi opinión no tienen nada que envidiar a un hotel cinco estrellas. Por esto a todo el que piense hacer turismo de estancia en Trinidad le recomiendo este hermoso lugar.

Alojamiento perfecto por su confort y buen trato. Ambiente acogedor y un servicio de restaurante espectacular, además de estar ubicado en un lugar estratégico para hacer un buen turismo. Gracias por su atención y de seguro repetimos.
Casa Particular Eccellente! super consigliata
Abbiamo soggiornato presso la Casa Vieja per 3 notti, ci siamo trovati benissimo. Camere pulitissime, bagni pulitissimi, ottima colazione, teli e lenzuola profumate. La casa si trova a 2 minuti a piedi dalla piazza principale di Trinidad. i padroni di casa sono sempre stati ospitali e disponibili. All'interno dispone di un ristorante, ci abbiamo mangiato 1 sera e devo dire che è stato uno dei migliori provati a Trinidad. Molto buoni i cocktail, in particolare la Canchancara, la migliore assaggiata in città. Casa Vieja assolutamente consigliatissima!!!!!!

Hotel grazioso, curato nei minimi dettagli che rivelano la cura e l'amore che i loro proprietari mettono in questo posto. Camera bellissima con due letti da una piazza e mezza, bagno nuovo e pulitissimo! Rapporto qualità / prezzo eccellente. Cibo ottimo, colazione abbondante con alimenti tipici. Yamilet e Ale sono una coppia meravigliosa che ci ha fatti sentire a casa e ci ha accolti con amore. Purtroppo siamo stati solo una notte ma se avessimo potuto avremmo prolungato il nostro soggiorno. E' bello trovare persone che mettono amore nel proprio lavoro e che lo tramettono ai propri ospiti. Se passate da Trinidad non potete non passare di qui anche solo per un saluto!
Notre meilleure adresse à Cuba
Revenant de 15 jours à Cuba, nous avons particulièrement apprécié ce lieu. Nous y avons déjeuné, y sommes retourné pour la qualité de la cuisine, l'accueil et le lieu qui est magnifique. Nous n'y avons pas dormi mais le ferons sans aucun doute lors de notre prochain voyage.

La casa è stupenda, si viene accolti nella grande sala dove è da poco nato un ristorante in stile antico ma molto raffinato.. si viene accolti dal sorriso di Yamilet la dolcissima proprietaria di casa che mostra le camere tutte molto grandi (la mia aveva un doppio letto alla francese) una sala da bagno con doccia enorme. La stanza è molto fresca, ma è fornita di due ventilatori e aria condizionata (io nn ne ho mai avuto bisogno), c'è anche un mini bar con acqua e bibite varie molto utile quando si rientra tardi dalle serate alla casa della musica. Alex ci ha fornito una mappa della città con evidenziati i posti di maggiore interesse per ascoltare buona musica, musei e locali notturni.. (grazie a lui abbiamo scoperto la canchachara.. assolutamente da vedere). All'arrivo inoltre vi offrono una limonata che è una manna dal cielo considerando il caldo di cuba.. Il ristorante davvero molto buono.. noi ci siamo fermati a pranzo appena arrivati e abbiamo mangiato la Ropa vieja che è stata una delle migliori provate in giro per cuba. La colazione è davvero ricca con tanta frutta uova, succhi e prelibatezze della casa.. io sono stata lì la notte del mio compleanno e al mattino ad attendermi c'è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa da parte dei padroni di casa con torta al cioccolato e candeline!! Vi consiglio vivamente questo posto perché è una delle poche case particular in cui sono andata in cui mi sono sentita davvero coccolata in ogni momento della giornata. Se tornassi indietro starei sicuramente più di una notte.

Wir haben kürzlich vorzüglich im Restaurant Casa Vieja gegessen. Ein sehr hübsches Ambiente, sehr aufmerksame und freundliche Kellner und gutes frisches Essen. Ich kann dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
Excellente adresse à Trinidad
Nous sommes restés 3 nuits à cette adresse et nous avons fort aimé. Très bien situé, les chambres sont spacieuses, propres et l'accueil y est chaleureux. Le petit déjeuner était copieux. A recommander.
The Best Restaurant & Casa in Trinidad
Casa Vieja is a fantastic restaurant offering the best mojitos in Trinidad. The food is very tasty and the dining room in spacious and beautifully decorated with a colonial style. The live music made the dinner even more memorable, the band even included us in their performance and we played along the rhythm with the maracas. The hosts Yamilet and Alex are exceptional, the sweetest people we met in Cuba! Do not miss this incredible experience!

Hébergement Idéalement placé pour profiter du centre de Trinidad. Des hôtes très accueillants et disponibles qui nous ont proposé une belle chambre avec une salle de bain magnifique ! Petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux ! Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de cet hôtel !
Delightful Restaurant - so good we ate there twice!
This review is for the restaurant only, we weren't staying in the accommodation. Like most places in Cuba we just wandered into this restaurant one evening and we loved it. In fact we liked it so much we went back the next night, which is saying something when there are so many good places to eat in Trinidad. The feel was somewhat up market, but the prices were as good as other places. Being a couple streets from the main square, both nights there were only a few tables taken but don't let this put you off as the place is definitely worth the short walk from the noise. Food was excellent, the waiter could not have tried harder to get everything perfect.
Super casa à Trinidad
Nous recommandons particulièrement l'hostal Colonial Casa Vieja ! Cette casa a 3 grandes chambres et un restaurant très calme où l'on y mange très bien (excellent rapport qualité / prix !). A 2 pas du centre mais loin du bruit elle est très bien située.. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'accueil d'Alex et sa femme. Alex parle très bien le français et fait tout pour rendre votre séjour inoubliable !
2 nuits à la Casa Vieja Trinidad
Nous avons été enchantés non seulement par le lieu, sa location mais aussi par l'accueil de nos hôtes ainsi que leurs employés toujours souriants et prêts à nous rendre service. Petit plus sympa, Alex se débrouille très bien en français ! La chambre était spacieuse, avec une belle salle de bain, le petit déjeuner était excellent et copieux et nous avons été agréablement surpris par le restaurant, le meilleur d'entre tous ceux que nous avons essayé lors de notre séjour à Cuba (nous avions été souvent déçus jusque là) Tout était parfait !
Séjour à Trinidad
Si Trinidad appartient au patrimoine de l'Unesco, alors Alex et sa Casa Viejia sont de même voués à y être inscrits : sa " casa particulare ", qu'il dirige avec son épouse, est la maison familiale au sein de laquelle tout voyageur curieux de fréquenter la culture " trinitaine " devrait venir trouver repos. Bien plus qu'un lieu de transit pour touristes pressés, cette " casa " non seulement vous héberge mais vous accueille, les bras grand ouverts. Son charme n'a d'égal que la douceur d'un coucher de soleil sur la Plaza Major, à quelques secondes à pieds de là (ce qui est un véritable luxe pour qui les pavés " classés " entravent la marche en sandales). Sourire aux lèvres, toujours disponibles pour nous aiguiller (ce qui est précieux pour nous autres, trop mal habitués à se référer aux conseils en ligne), Alex et son amicale équipe nous ont permis de profiter à plein de notre séjour : merci à eux, encore, d'avoir fait de leur " casa " notre maison.
Exceptional experience
Hostal Colonial Casa Vieja offers clean, spacious and recently renovated rooms with comfortable beds in very nice interiors of colonial style house. The breakfasts are served in nice, quiet patio of the house. The hosts Yamilet and Alex were such a sweet and helpful couple. They gave us many useful informations and tips. Their restaurant downstairs is amazing- we enjoyed the colonial atmosphere, very attentive and courteous staff and what is most important, delicious and beautifully presented food. Realy can be seen that the hosts and their staff want to do this place exceptional. If I visit Cuba again I would like to stay in this place.
N'oublier pas le restaurant
Hotel colonial très bien situé, Alex et Yamilet sont adorables et nous ont permis de passer un très bon séjour à Trinidad. Les chambres sont très propres et les petits déjeuners sont très bons et copieux. N'hésitez pas à dîner dans leur nouveau restaurant, la cuisine et les cocktails sont délicieux et variés. Un groupe de musiciens jouent tous les soirs, ce qui crée une ambiance douce et authentique.
Great hosts & perfect location
We stayed in Casa Vieja for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The couple who run the place, Alex and Yamilet, were so welcoming and responsive to all our needs (including helping us out with some minor medical-related issues). The room was very clean and more modern than many other B & Bs... just what I was looking for: a family ambiance without feeling that we were in a family member's bedroom. Good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast was outstanding and nicely prsented. I loved the entrance and colonial dining room... in line with the whole flavor of Trinidad. Finally, the location was unbeatable: one block to the Casa de la Trova music venue, and from there another long block to the central square. Super place! Muchas gracias Alex y Yamilet por estar pendiente de mi mama... muy agradecido con sus atenciones!
Très jolie casa ancienne bien restaurée en plein centre ville
Très bon accueil chez Yamilet et Alex. La pièce principale bien restaurée avec quelques meubles anciens. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, dîner de langoustes, il y a trois chambres un peu kitsch mais c'est partout pareil.... Petit déjeuner très copieux. Adresse recommandée.
La casa y sus dueños, de lo mejor de Cuba
Después del viaje de 3 semanas por Cuba, ésta es una de las mejores casas en las que hemos estado alojados. Está renovada con buen gusto y sencillez, pero cuidando los detalles. Las habitaciones son amplias y nuevas, y los baños de los mejores que he visto en Cuba. Y la casa está en pleno centro de Trinidad aunque en una calle no ruidosa. Alex y Yamilet son encantadores y mantienen la casa limpia a todas horas. Fueron muy amables y atentos a nuestras necesidades, durante nuestra estancia nos tocaron lluvias torrenciales y nos facilitaron su casa, jugos, té y hasta juegos de mesa para hacerlo más llevadero. La cena que probamos fue rica, rica... especiales los camarones picantes. Yamilet, Alex volvería sin duda a vuestra casa.

Abbiamo passato tre notti a Trinidad in questa fantastico appartamento! L'arredamento è davvero caratteristico, ma la cosa che più colpisce è la sensazione di accoglienza e di casa che si respira appena varcata la porta! Yamilet e Alex sono stati più che gentili: abbiamo avuto modo di conoscerci, poco, ma quanto basta per pensare di voler tornare a Trinidad anche solo per riabbracciare questa meravigliosa coppia! Le colazioni sono ricche e abbondanti, le cene altrettanto. Non ci è mai mancato niente, e nel momento di necessità sono stati servizievoli e disponibili. La posizione dell'appartamento è perfetta: dietro alla piazza centrale. Inoltre, Yamilet e Alex ci hanno anche trovato una perfetta sistemazione per la macchina che avevamo a noleggio, un garage privato a due passi dalla Casa Vieja. Trinidad è un 'must' di Cuba, ma questa casa particular lo è altrettanto! Più che consigliati: impossibile restare delusi e impossibile non affezionarsi a così belle persone!
Una casa preciosa con muy buena atención
Esta casa es de las mejores que conseguimos en Cuba. La habitación es como la de un hotel y tiene todo lo que puedes necesitar. Además sus propietarios son gente amable y educada. El desayuno es excelente y hasta tienes un lavadero y una terraza donde tender la ropa :)
beautiful casa and great location
This casa is much more beautiful than the pictures we saw on the website. the room was big, very clean, new decoration. the bed was really comfortable. location was great, can walk to almost everyplace we want to see. Tho hosts Yamilet and Alex were such a sweet couple, gave us a very detail map and told us many useful information about visiting the city, arranged good price collective taxi for us to our next destination. very helpful and always with smile. Having breakfast in the beautiful patio is one of the best experience in my life. Would love to come back again sometime.
SEJOUR INOUBLIABLE CHEZ YAMILET, ALEX y ALICIA
Proche du centre historique, Hotal colonial casa vieja est une superbe maison coloniale où vous serez reçu avec beaucoup de gentillesse. Les chambres sont charmantes, très propre et le petit-déjeuner est toujours très copieux. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour parmi une famille qui a su nous accueillir comme des amis. Surtout n'hésitez c'est une valeur sûre
LA MEJOR CASA Y ATENCIÓN RECIBIDA EN CUBA
Llegamos un día antes de lo previsto a Trinidad y por lo tanto sin hospedaje para esa noche. Yamilet nos ayudó inmediatamente y consiguió una habitación (Terrazas de Isabel y Eusebio) ubicada a metros de su casa y al día siguiente nos alojamos con ella y su marido (Alex) TODO LO BUENO QUE PODAMOS DECIR DE UN HOSPEDAJE Y DEL TRATO RECIBIDO QUEDA CORTO! Además de que la habitación era INCREIBLE (la presión del agua en un amplio y muy bien cuidado baño, la ropa de cama y estado de la misma IMPECABLE) el desayuno en su patio fue INCREIBLE lejos el mejor luego de 20 días en el país. Muchas gracias Yamilet y Alex, esperamos que les vaya muy bien! no duden en visitarlos (la ubicación es perfecta; a pocas cuadras del centro histórico sin que te moleste el ruido de las calles al dormir)
COME LASCIARE IL CUORE A TRINIDAD
La casa è grandissima, arredata in modo incantevole e prezioso; la nostra camera molto spaziosa (eravamo in due), pulitissima (la signora ci chiedeva di poterla pulire e di cambiare biancheria ogni due giorni) e il bagno aveva tutti i comfort possibili. La posizione è invidiabile, in centro, vicino a tutti i luoghi di interesse e di svago della città. Alex e Yamilet: due persone magnifiche, generose, gentili, simpaticissimi e sempre disponibili a rispondere ad ogni nostra richiesta. E' anche grazie a loro se abbiamo passato 10 giorni indimenticabili, lasciando un pezzo di cuore a Trinidad!
INCREDIBLE STAY
The host were very very friendly. did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable. The house is charming, spacious and Very central. Lots of restaurant and shops near by. Love the roof top, rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable. I would definitely stay again. Thanks for an amazing experience and thank you Alex for showing us around and helping with rentals and purchasing of goods. Markets are literally on your door steps which is awesome. Food offered by the CASA is great quality and flavorsome. Merci encore :)
Superbes chambres et très bon restaurant
Nous étions restés deux nuits à la casa yamilet y alex en octobre et avons eu l'occasion de manger à leur restaurant une fois. C'était vraiment super, autant la casa que la nourriture. C'est bien placé dans Trinidad, Alex et yamilet sont très gentils et la nourriture y est excellente. Je vous conseille d'y aller
