Good food
I went to eat here on the recommendation of a local person and I had a pleasant surprise. Pleasant and helpful staff, cleanliness and most importantly, very good food, at a reasonable price, not very cheap, but not excessive (for comparison, what I ate here " storceag " and " caras prăjit ", was more expensive at a restaurant from Tulcea and not as good. I recommend the restaurant.
No rooms reserved for us
Although I talked to the owners 3 times on the phone and on WhatsApp, I paid the advance and they confirmed to me that everything is fine, when we arrived at the place we were told that they actually forgot to make the reservation and that they can offer us accommodation just for one night, then we will be moved. At first the host was nice, she apologized and tried to find a solution, but then she became arrogant and unfriendly, and when I told her that we were going to leave and spend the next night in Sf Gheorghe and then if they had accommodation for us, we will return, they said they want continuity of payment. Basically, after they didn't reserve the rooms for our stay and we didn't spend one night there, they wanted the money. In the end, we decided not to return to Casa Anastasia at all and to spend the rest of the nights at the tent in Sf Gheorghe.
Nice location, but they " lost " our booking
Location: in Murighiol, reasonable walk to all points of interest. Reception: this is the part where things went downhill. We made a reservation weeks before, talked over the phone and on whatsapp, even paid via bank transfer an advance. When we got there, we had no reservation. We were offerred temporary rooms for 1 night, then we were supposed to pack and go somewhere else. Packing and unpacking daily is not reasonable. We were also asked if we want our money back after driving 300km to get there... So in the end, after 1 night, we moved to a whole different location, in a different town... At least the person welcoming us - thin, blonde lady was very beautiful - the only thing that was making me smile despite the whole mess. Rooms: very spacey, clean, smelling nice. Restaurant: available, but not a la carte. Nobody cared to mention how it works - apparently there is a fixed fee for breakfast and for dinner. Since nobody explained and nobody wanted to say the price, we just went to a restaurant. there is a menu available for drinks. Pool: available, decent, not heated. Jacuzzi and sauna: available on site, but didn't see them put to work. Tours: can be organized through collaborators. Time management is a different story. All in all the location is nice, food might even be good, but going on holiday and realising you've got no place to stay after paying an advance and calling, brings the venue down to zero.
Short stay
Wonderful place. Excellent food, service. Help with Boat service for cruises in the Delta. Fine people. Comfortable rooms. Good cook. Kind hosts. Excellent cuisine. Unforgetable experience ! We shall come back !
