Since 1990, Midwest Fiber Recycling has been Central Illinois' leader in full-service recycling options. Originally known as Weyerhaeuser Recycling in Normal and Decatur Recycle Paper Co. in Decatur, Midwest Fiber Recycling focuses on providing creative and effective solutions for its clients' recycling needs. Today, Midwest Fiber Recycling operates facilities in Bloomington-Normal, Decatur, Springfield and Peoria - and our service area extends throughout the Midwest. Combined, it owns more than 260, 000 square feet of processing and warehousing facilities on 30 acres and process over 125, 000 tons of recyclable material each year! In an effort to further support the needs of its clients, Midwest Fiber Recycling opened an additional division in 2003: Confidential On-Site Paper Shredding (C. O. P. S.). C. O. P. S. provides on-site, secure document shredding services for businesses throughout the area.
