Best bang for the buck
If you are looking for a CLEAN no frills hotel, this is the one for you. All of the furniture has been replace and the rooms are spotless. Price is very reasonable. Rooms have microwave and small fridge. Counter tops are all marble and are easy to clean. Located right off the freeway and very close to Mr. D'S diner right down the road
Hotel simple but clean and pleasant
This hotel is rated at only 2.5 stars but it is clean and convenient to walk through the historical part of Kingman. The staff is very pleasant. No breakfast offered. Directly across the street from the best Museum in the town, which has total Native American and Pioneer history of this area. About 3 miles from the famous Kingman Turquoise Mine store. We have used this hotel multiple times and always decide to stay there.
Clean-Comfortable-Convenient
Stayed at the Arizona Inn a few years ago and was impressed by the cleanliness of the room. I found it to be just as clean during a return trip. It's convenient to the highway, but also an easy walk to the downtown area for a bite to eat and something to drink. A great value for the price they charge.
Carino e confortevole
Tipico Motel americano, carino e confortevole, pulito e c'è tutto quello di cui si ha bisogno, si parcheggia proprio di fronte la propria camera. Kingman un po' mi ha deluso i check in si fanno dopo le 15 e il visitor center chiude alle 16 Mah??? Anche perché in zona non c'è proprio nulla …a 2 passi un economico general dollar se no in macchina a 5 / 10 c'è un bel complesso commerciale con Walmart e vari ristoranti
Pleasant surprise
On our trip back east we were looking for an inexpensive over night stay and we tried this motel. Not looking for anything more than a room for our over night stay what a great place. Host at check in started the stay, the cleanliness of the room, the comfort of the bed and the location made this stay a complete pleasure. Even though there was no breakfast the restaurant across the street had great food and service. Would recommend the inn to all. Thank you Arizona Inn for a great experience.
Great price for a good place
Very good service, clean rooms, and great location! We stayed at the Arizona Inn for one night on a road trip. We're happy with the price, location, and cleanliness. The room smelled fresh and clean. Henry at the front desk is very pleasant and helpful.
Old Route 66 Style
Ältere, leicht aufgefrischte Anlage. Sauber und nettes Personal - AC ist veraltet und laut, hat bei 100 F Mühe. Gut das günstig angebotene, gekühlte Wasser! Für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise ist das genügend. Die Anlage nahe dem Kingman Visitor Center ist gut gelegen.
Nice surprise
This property appears to be an older property--maybe from the mid-20th century. But it has been upgraded and beautified, with numerous improvements. It's a basic, no-frills room, but you can't beat the price, and it was clean and comfortable. A couple of areas which could be improved--the electric outlets nearest the desk were far enough away to be unusable for laptop and tablet on the desk, without extra-long " lightening cords, " which I do not have. Also, the WiFi kept kicking us out. I just resorted to using the hotspot on my phone for other electronics. This solution worked fine. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again, when we're in the area.
GREAT MOTEL
this may be classified as a budget motel but it has high end class. Rooms are clean and neat, everything operates well and the bed was super comfy. folks at desk are very friendly and the morning coffee is strong and hot! We will stay here again. It's close to downtown and Rt66 museum.
Great Motel!
Wow! This motel was very nice! It was clean, spacious, nicely decorated... just very inviting all around. Plenty of room, nice comfortable bed. I can't say enough good things about it. This was a nice motel, and the price was great. On vacation, we do things all day, then drive late into the night, and I don't use a lot of amenities in a hotel. I just want a clean place to sleep. This Arizona Inn made me wish we'd checked in earlier, just so I could enjoy this lovely clean room.
An excellent deal
This place is inexpensive, clean, and convenient. Some " frills " are avoided to keep the price low while doing the essentials right. Things I do not care about (like coffee in the room) were absent; but wi-fi was fine, water was a nice showering temperature, each room has a fridge and microwave. I was too tired to try the TV but I bet it was fine. Bed was fine, plenty of pillows which I appreciate. And my number one concern -- cleanliness -- was securely in place.
Great value place to stay in Kingman
Clean, cheap, great location. Good standard of accommodation for a good price. Perfect for a group. Motorcycle ride through the area. Recommended as a great value place to stay in Kingman. Staff were helpful and efficient and bikes can be parked directly outside the room. Definitely not a five star place to stay, but meets all the requirements for a cost-effective and pleasant stay.
Nice place
we stayed one night. the location was very good. the rooms are clean. there was a fridge and a microwave. the bed and pillow were good. the room also had a dining table. you couldn't make coffee in the room, that's a big minus. I highly recommend
Good experience
This is a low budget motel but it has been updated and was very clean. It has all the basics. There is no breakfast but there is a nice restaurant across the street that is good. The beds are comfortable and the pillows are soft. If you are looking for a bargain it is a good choice
Fresh carpets, newly painted and very clean!
Worth more than 2**, this hotel was lovely and clean, comfy bed and good sheets. Ample parking and all freshly painted. Would definitely stay here again! This motel is in an easy location on route 66 with good restaurants close by and easy to find.

Buona posizione e la signora al check in gentile. Caffè caldo disponibile al mattino. Camera non male anche se la pulizia in alcuni punti è da migliorare. Letto non comodissimo ma lenzuola pulite. Condizionatore in camera leggermente rumoroso.

Reasonably priced, nice and clean, a great place to stay if you're passing through
Coming back from Flagstaff after visiting our son and seeing the Grand Canyon, we knew we could not make it home unless we arrived at 1:30 am. We did not want to drive into the night as we are " young " senior citizens so we were looking to stay the night in Kingman before heading home the next morning. We chose the Arizona Inn for the reviews and cost. We were not disappointed. We arrived in Kingman about 7:30 pm. We had called and alerted the motel management that we would arrive in the later evening. No problem. We were helped by a nice woman of--I believe--East Indian ethnicity. We asked for an were given an upstairs room. The room was average size with two queen beds as requested. More importantly, it was clean. There is a fridge and microwave, as well as a hair dryer. The shower and AC worked great. We actually found the beds more comfortable than at many more expensive hotels that we've stayed at. The exterior is well kept. The location is not in the best part of Kingman, but we still felt safe. Next door there is a Mexican eatery that our hostess told us is more " fast foodish ". Across the street and within easy walking distance is Calicos, a family diner. There is a museum right across the street. We left by 7 am the next day and headed home. In summary, we would definitely stay here again if we were passing through and needed a place to stay for the night.
Nette Umgebung
Das Arizona Inn Motelwar sauber, Bett war in Ordnung, überraschend ruhig und im Zimmer alles vorhanden was man braucht. Hatten Zimmer upstairs. Wir waren Abendessen und Frühstück im Calicos gegenüber, sehr empfehlenswert. Wir können es nur empfehlen!
Give it a chance!
We first stayed here in February 2020. It was cheaper than the Motel 6 across the street. It was clean, and quiet. Comparable to Motel 6. So we read the reviews to make sure it was still worth staying at. It had good reviews and we were not disappointed. There's a restaurant across the street and Mexican restaurant on the property. We will stay there whenever we go through Kingman as long as the reviews stay good!!😊
A good value for the money
Rooms were recently remodeled, but the exterior looked weathered. Bed provided a nice balance of cushioning and support. Staff was friendly. Coffee and Tea is available from 6:30 - 9:30am. You want breakfast?? Sorry, that is no longer provided.
Nice stay in Kingman
The Arizona Inn was very nice for the price, shower was great, room had a microwave and small refrigerator, bed was very comfortable and coffee was in the lobby early. We have been there twice now and will go back on our return trip.
A Bargain Motel
This is an older, refurbished motel. My room was clean and it contained the usual amenities. My WIFI was weak and the motel was largely empty. There was a foul up in my reservations which the desk handled satisfactorily. I would have given this place a 3* rating, but the price was good.
Great budget stay
Agree with other reviews. Nice refurbished bathroom. Sink outside the shower and toilet area with large mirror. Good size mini frig and microwave. Outside looks newly painted. Easy freeway. I-40 access.
Basic, comfortable and great value
Stayed for one night during Route 66 trip, the rooms are dated but clean and comfortable with A / C, satellite TV, large bed, fridge and microwave. There was a small dining table and two chairs in our room. There are no coffee machines in the room but you can get fresh coffee from a table in the reception area. This motel is perfectly fine a short stay / night stop, there's a few restaurants within walking distance and the Mojave museum is across the road. Recommended and would stay again.
Old place, deceptive billing
This is an older drive up motel. The room was ok for the most part. The bathrooms looked to have been remodeled with a caulk gun (ya know, caulk over all the old dirt and grime). There was no coffee maker in the room so that's a big omission for me. Also, be aware, they will quote you a price+tax for a room and then add an undisclosed fee on when you check in. I asked what the fee was for and they just said they always charge it. Pretty unethical IMO.
No tiene desayuno, da rabia que te mientan
Reservamos el hotel contando con tener un desayuno que al llegar y pagar nos dijeron que por el cocido no lo daban (pero por supuesto no lo descontaban). En general bien pero eso nos dejó bastante descontentos. La habitación bien y tiene lavandería.
Doesn't recognize Military or Seniors
Easy access off the Highway, room was OK, (had to search fo the USB charging ports, finally found them in the radio), price was ok. No help when asking for near by restaurants. No coffee in the room, had to go to the lobby and ask them to make you a cup! The big negative was, NO hesitation in saying NO to a Senior or Military discount.
Great Location, Comfortable bed
I stayed here several nights visiting a friend. The room was clean and bed was very comfy. Close to hiking I came for. Nice festival walking distance. check in People were friendly. Great deal. The fridgerator was a good size and worked well. Loved the sunset window in the bathroom shower. air conditioner worked fine.
Clean and comfortable
Basic amenities. At first the heating wouldn't go on, It was pretty cold in the room. Phone to desk didn't work. Had to walk down to office to report the heater. Manager was very responsive and all was well.
The perfect omelet of hotels
Have you ever had a perfect omelet? So simple in its ingredients, so hard to pull off perfectly. This hotel is the perfect omelet of hotels. It is no frills, yet has a fridge, so that you have cold water bottles in the morning when you continue your journey. All four members of my party from 76 to 11 years old agreed with me that the beds were very comfortable. The shower, while old, works better than many I've used in hotel rooms costing 5 x - 10x as much per night (we paid $42 with breakfast). As many others have mentioned, it is very clean indeed. The Indian family running this place was friendly and welcoming. Have the right expectations, and you won't be disappointed. It fit the bill for us perfectly.
Great budget stay
I was very happy with the cleanliness and amenities of this room (fridge and microwave included), especially for the price. Good hot water in the shower. The family working here were very friendly also. I would stay here again.
Arizona Inn. Good Place To Stay
Clean room. Everything you need, fridge, microwave, Two Queen Beds, Good sized bathroom with good sized countertop for all your stuff. Our go to place in Kingman. Have stayed here 3 times and has meet our requirements. Close to breweries and stores. Got a good nights sleep, comfortable and quiet.
Ni allez surtout pas
Température glaciale dans la chambre et le chauffage ne marchait pas, apres avoir essayé pendant 1h nous sommes allés à la réception ou visiblement personne n'a semblé étonné et on nous a donné un petit chauffage d'appoint pour chauffer la chambre et la salle de bains. Chauffage qu'il a fallu laisser sur la tablette du lavabo de peur de mettre le feu. Donc la nuit à été mauvaise. Le petit déjeuner était très spartiate mais comme il est gratuit je ne le compterais pas comme point négatif. Je ne recommande pas cet hôtel et c'est très rare que je mette une telle critique.
Decent hotel that is a little out of the way
Depending on where you are going, the location is either a couple of miles from all the action in Kingman or along the main highway leading to California or Las Vegas. The area it is located in appears a little seedy especially when you see people walking around at all hours. I stayed 2 nights in room 112. There are two levels with a similar L-shape design with most motels. The room was clean but had the amenities I needed: flat screen TV, mini fridge, microwave, 2 queen beds, 2 drawer chest, table and 2 hard chairs. The bathroom was oldish but clean with a standard tub / shower configuration and tile. Towels were OK but the soaps were tiny. There was conditoning shampoo and tissue. Charging plugs were located between the beds which was convenient if two people shared the room. The only complaint I had was that the room heating was cranked to the maximum of 90 degrees and still the temperature was around 70 deg. Their solution was not to repair it but to give me a portable heater. Actually that seemed to help quite a bit. The motel is located about a block from I-40 so it was easy to find but few restaurants in the local area. You can hear any motorcycle in the area as the rooms are not sound proof.

Prima motel voor een tussenstop. Check in ging snel, aardig personeel. Gedateerde maar nette kamer. Wifi werkt prima. Vlakbij zitten wat eetgelegenheden. Wij hebben geen gebruikgemaakt van het ontbijt.

Motel classique américain. Le point fort est la taille de la chambre vraiment spacieuse. Le point faible est le petit déjeuner qui se tient à la réception sur 5m2. Grand parking au pied des chambres. Pas de distributeur de glaçons. Correct pour 1 nuit
Excellent
Stayed one night on the way back from Phoenix to Vegas. Excellent. Did not know what to expect for the $55 we paid for a twin bed room. Room was very clean. Yes a bit dated but did not want to pay for an expensive place as only staying overnight. Breakfast was excellent too. People have complained in previous reviews but it was fine for us. Apples bananas three types of cereal lots of pastries. More than enough to set you on your way. Young man at the desk was very cheerful and helpful. I am from the UK and if I am back this way again will not hesitate to stay here.

Questo motel è un po datato, ma comunque non è male, è abbastanza vivibile. C'è l'aria condizionata e il frigo molto efficienti, e c'è anche il microonde. Stanza ampia, con due letti matrimoniali anche se eravamo in due per stanza. Non trascurabile la posizione in piena route 66, con qualche localino tipico in cui cenare a due passi. Su un asciugamano c'erano un po di capelli lasciati dall'ospite precedente, evidentemente non vengono lavati accuratamente. La colazione è un po scarsa, solo qualche dolcetto confezionato e solo 2 tavolini in cui sedersi, davanti al banco reception. Tra l'altro quando abbiamo allontanato un tavolino dall'altro per poterci sedere in quattro la signora si è risentita.

Hôtel idéal de passage avant de se rendre vers le Grand Canyon qui se trouve à 2h30 de là. 56 dollars la nuit pour un chambre double Literie et douche très correct Très calme la nuit, on n'entend pas les bruits de la route Gros hic.. le tapis dans les chambres, ils devraient songer à les changer Également très bien situé, à quelques mètres de la sortie d'autoroute Et à 200 mètres d'un super endroit pour manger (typique comme dans les films), Mr. D'z.

Classico motel americano, con parcheggio privato. La posizione è ottima essendo nel centro di Kingman. Le stanze sono molto grandi e pulite, dotate di tv, frigo e microonde ma un po' vecchiotte. Non c'è la piscina. La colazione molto limitata. Per chi non ha molte pretese.
Good value for money
Friendly staff, clean room, good beds. Location right off the freeway. This is on Route 66. Breakfast is included, but it is served in the reception which is way to small with only 2 tables, but you can take your breakfast to your room.

Arizona Inn gets it right!
I was travelling home to California and decided to make my stop for the night in Kingman. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just a clean and safe place to lay my head before heading out in the morning. I also didn't want to pay anything near a $100 just to get some shut eye. Checked into the Arizona Inn without a reservation and was greeted at the front desk by a friendly desk clerk. I took an available queen room for $50. I wasn't expecting too much as the motel is clearly a cookie cutter roadway style inn popular in the 60s with its " L " shaped two floor plan. I was pleasantly surprised! I'm not sure if the property was recently renovated or just very well maintained, but my room appeared to have fresh butternut paint throughout and the carpet looked brand new as did the linen. The room in fact was pretty spotless and smelled very fresh. My room had a flatscreen tv with satellite (I had originally guessed it would have an older tube television) and a small fridge and microwave, both of which were very clean. There is a sink / vanity area next to the bathroom that had a tub / shower combo and a window. The air conditioned was surprisingly quiet and crispy cold. The motel is situated near some decent restaurants, a Chevron, and is across the street from a museum. It is also about a block from I-40 though I really didn't notice from my room. The architecture of the Arizona Inn is dated to be sure, but don't let that fool you. The rooms are anything but dated and have been well cared for. With front door parking my room was also very convenient. At $50 a night it was a bargain and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Good job Arizona Inn!
Correct pour ce prix
Nous avons payé 56 dollars la nuit avec un petit déjeuner léger inclus la chambre est propre la vue est surtout très agréable il s'agit de kingman vieille ville donc le long de la mythique Route 66 franchement pour une nuit c'est tout à fait correct bien sûr vous pouvez toujours trouver à redire mais à ce prix là c'est imbattable
Nice small hotel and good value
Nice people and good location, Quiet little hotel next to a Mexican restaurant and eateries nearby. The room is clean and new and the bed is firm. One thing you may want to know is there is no cold water being served in the breakfast room, all water is hot and even the manager told me they dont serve cold water !
Continental breakfast??? Wifi??
WiFi wasn't ok, was so slow... I decided to activate my internet data because it was extremely slow. Breakfast is all about juice, coffee and 2 muffins. Lady in the reception was so rude and uninformative, it's cheap for sure. Otherwise room was clean, beds comfortable, a / c was from 80's, not very efficient.

Ci è piaciuto molto, anche perché è stato l'unico hotel che disponeva tre letti. È un po' datato, ma pulito. Alla reception disponibili e gentili. Colazione inclusa. Wi-Fi gratuito. Per noi è stata un ottima scelta.
Great place for a stopover on Route 66
If you are looking for a cheap, good value place for a stopover in Kingman, you probably wont find better than Arizona Inn. It has a good size carpark at the side, or is it classed as the front? Anyway, the rooms, whilst basic are clean and big enough for 4 people, the beds are great, tho it could do with better pillows, I left my quite big paperback after using it to raise the pillows a bit!!!! Theres a free breakfast available in reception and its enough to keep you going till lunch. Right opposite is the Mohave History museum, an interesting place to spend a couple of hours. There is also the huge steam locomotive right over the road.
A very nice surprise!
We were on a mc trip on the Old Route 66 and got off the road late. There wasn't any thing available at the M 6 but across the street we found the Arizona Inn to be very accommodating. The clerk was very helpful and provided us a 3 bed room on the first floor at a very reasonable rate. The room was clean, cool, and had a bonus bedroom as well.

Für eine Nacht und die Durchreise super! Sauber und ruhig. Die Eisenbahn hört man zwar leise rattern, aber uns hat sie überhaupt nicht gestört. Check in / out unkompliziert. Freundlichkeit okay Frühstück mit Bananen, kellogs und Muffin. Klare Empfehlung
Vollkommen ausreichend
Meine Meinung über Motels ist im Grunde genommen sehr schlecht. Dieses hätte in Kingman aber die beste Bewertung von daher Risiko. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Zimmer ist sauber. Check-in unproblematisch. Parken direkt vor der Tür. W-Lan mit guter Verbindung und kostenlos. Und der Preis dafür.. Vollkommen okay!
Etape pour une nuit
Nous nous sommes arrêtés dans ce motel pour faire une étape entre Los Angeles et le Grand canyon. La chambre était bien confortable pour une nuit : grande chambre et salle de bains, frigo, TV, du rangement. Le petit déjeuner est un peu limité : thé / café, quelques fruits et gâteaux mais toujours appréciable dans un motel à prix modéré. Par contre il y a pas de restaurants / snacks aux alentours
Clean firm beds, hot water shower
That's all we needed at 10:30 at night after ten days in the Death Valley backcountry. We wanted cheap, quiet and tolerably clean, and we got it. You get a 50 dollar motel for 50 dollars- so don't be surprised if the tub is old and there is an old burn mark on your nightstand. We picked it cuz recent reviews said it was fine.. and we agree. And they even offer limited breakfast in the morning.
Net motel / te karig ontbijt
Vriendelijke ontvangst. Goede ruime, schone, ietwat gedateerde kamer. Zo ook de kleine badkamer. Het bed was goed. De douche okee. Het ontbijt was karig. Er was geen brood, maar verpakte koeken. Plus koffie en fruit.
Just fine and excellent price
We spontaneously stopped in Kingman and after passing by the fairly awful freeway interchange motels, found the Arizona Inn just a block or so from historic downtown Kingman. Accommodations are motel accommodations but the King bed was comfy, the fridge and microwave were handy, and the free breakfast was fine-all for $50! Downtown feels up and coming, lots of eyeball interest and a good Brewery and multiple good restaurants. A good place for a highway 40 stopover!
Very clean!
The motel is very clean and renovated. The rooms are very spacious. A microwave, refrigerator and a huge TV in each room. Very clean sheets and towels. It is so good that I can' t believe it's a motel. Free good wi-fi available.
Kingman AZ
Var här i juni 2015. Kom från LV och Grand Canyon till Kingman. Chansade och tog in på detta motel. Priset var bra ca 60 USD / rum. Helt OK. Hyfsat rent. AC fungerade och gick ganska tyst. Trevlig personal. Sköna sängar. Diner tvärs över parkeringen som hade riktigt gott kaffe. Kommer jag hit igen så bor jag här

Je commence en vous disant que le gars de la réception hier soir le 25 avril 2014 ne devrait pas travailler en public. Je ne sais pas si c'est le gérant ou un employé mais je vous dis que c'en était presque drôle. Un visage de plomb avec un air de croque-mort rien de moins. Un accueil horrible comme je n'ai pas eu depuis belle lurette. Le gars est souffrant sûrement ou bien s'il est né ainsi, il aurait intérêt à modifier sa façon de faire car il rencontrera un jour un client qui aura moins de tolérance que moi et il se fera invectiver d'aplomb si ce n'est pas déjà fait. Nous sommes dans la chambre 221 de ce motel d'où je vous écris mon avis avec un wifi qui fonctionne bien. C'est bruyant dû à la circulation routière mais si vous avez un sommeil assez profond, vous ne devriez pas être importunés. Pour être honnête, je dois dire que cette chambre est correcte avec deux lits queen confortables et propres. Il y a un grand manque de prises électriques cependant. Il y en a deux près du lavabo et c'est tout donc impossible de connecter mon portable ou autres machins. Je suis assis sur la seule chaise de la chambre avec sa table pour vous écrire mon avis. Il y a le strict minimum comme des barres de savon mais oubliez le reste. La télévision fonctionne bien avec plusieurs canaux. Impossible de chauffer un peu la chambre afin d'y faire sortir l'humidité et la fraîcheur des nuits de l'Arizona car ce n'est que de l'air frais qui sort de la trappe même en fixant la température à 80 degrés. Pas eu de problème avec la douche et l'eau chaude. La piscine est cimentée donc plus aucune plainte possible à faire pour l'entretien et la propreté de l'eau. Elle fait partie du passé désormais. Nous avons payé $50.00 pour un total de $56.14 avec la taxe. Malgré l'accueil glacial d'hier soir, nous recommandons l'hôtel dans son ensemble mais nous chercherons ailleurs une prochaine fois si nous passons par Kingman un jour. __________ Avis rédigé le 26 avril 2014 à Kingman, Arizona.
Rip off and they take NO responsibility!
I drove nearly 15 hrs with 2 teens in my car in 100 deg heat, by the time I reached Kingman, the night we stayed here. First I went to motel6, but at 10pm at night, they had nothing left except for those who made reservations. Right across the street was this motel, so we jumped at it since I was actually physically ill from driving so long and hot! I was shocked when they said no charge for the WIFI and service was speedy, but if you give out the code to anyone else other than who they gave it to, they will charge you $35! They told me $2 deposit to insure we return the room key, which was plastic as all motels now. Could not believe though, that their price was exact as Motel6. I paid though, thinking the room must be nice for that price! WRONG WRONG WRONG!!! We had medication on our bodies from the last motel that gave us bed bugs, so as soon as we walked in the room, smelled like a rotting body in there, and floor was discolored from so much contamination! We each had to grab one pair of socks to put on when we had to step onto floor to not catch anything living in that carpet! The blanket smelled like a very bad yeast infection sat on it. (i used to care for elderly with those issues and know the smell) ! We all got our own blankets we had been using the whole trip, our own towels since the motel ones all had stains of god knows what on them. No cups or ice machine, so I had to use my own mug i brought & take up the last of ice in ice food bag I invented on the road. The outlets where far from the beds, so i had to use the one in the bathroom area. That was scary since the whole outlet was hanging OUT of the wall! I just figured, if i get electrocuted, they will get a BIG lawsuit from my family and me! I needed a shower very bad, got my own soap since there was none. The water pressure was barely coming out, but i got the job done. It got real hot in there though, so I opened the window in the shower area just to crack it a bit, and MASSIVE amount of insects jumped up to come in, (no screen on window). It scared me so bad i nearly slipped in there. I shut it before the whole clan made it inside. I got out, then noticed that all the walls in there, including the bathroom door, all had graffiti and lots of phone numbers! It was as if I was in a bar and using the toilet in the ghetto! As I was drying myself off, there were cock roaches crawling all over the floor! EWWW! I was just to darn tired out to get out and go looking for another place, so we all just went to bed. My back hurt so bad from the hard as a rock bed, so i tossed & turned, with hardly any sleep! Not to mention that there were also bed bugs THERE as well! MORE welts on our bodies!!! Checked out asap the next day, to get my $2 back, but did complain about everything. They said the person in charge was not there to handle the complaint, but they offered to keep my name and number for owner to call me back. 2 days later when no return call, I called them. Spoke with owner, and all he could say was that, if you didn't like the room, then why did you stay in it? I told him that how was I suppose to know there would be bed bugs, or that his disgusting bed was not going to allow me to sleep?! I was trying to just stay positive and get through that one last night of our trip! I didn't ask for a 100% refund since we DID stay the night, but I did ask for half compensation of having to stay in such filth and being attacked by the bugs. He said he would have his pest control company come check it all out. If his company finds what was in there, he would call me with some compensation. Never heard from him again! This all happened last month! I only just found this review site last night! Before this I was using Yelp, which apparently does not have even half the amount of users as I can find on here to give me good advise on where to stay or not now!!
Roaches, smelled filthy
The owners are friendly, but upon entering the room you could smell urine, and there was a cock roach hanging out above the door frame. Immediately went and got my money back and left. Luckily I hadn't opened any of the luggage so they didn't have a chance to get in my stuff.
great room
we stopped just 1 night when passing through, the motel was good large room with tv, fridge, microwave, plenty of hot water it was very good for the price we paid. we have stayed at lots of places and paid more and got less. there is a great restaurant next door that does very good breakfast
Surprisingly good
We took a risk on this place despite the poor reviews, as we wanted to stay in the old part of town on Route 66. Check in with the Indian guy was friendly, and the curry they were cooking for tea smelled fantastic. He told us he's owned the place for 7 months and the refurbishment is ongoing. I can only assume that he gave us one of the rooms that's been done up already because it was spotless, 2 queen beds, TV, fridge, and a microwave which I'd rather have swapped for a coffee maker, but that's the only gripe. Nice, quiet, clean place to stay.
Avoid This Place Like the Plague
One of the worst motels I've ever stayed at. Pillows were small lumps of foam stuffed into pillowcases. Sheets were threadbare. No blankets on bed just the nasty polyester bedspread. I usually pull those off the bed before I sleep in it because they rarely wash those things but I couldn't do that since there were no blankets. Mold around the sink and shower. Red spot that looked like blood on sink handle. There was a horrid chemical air freshener smell when you walked into the room. Dim dreary lighting. You couldn't get the window open to air out the room and even if you could you probably wouldn't want to sleep with it open for safety reasons. It felt as if the room had never been opened up and aired out in years - like sleeping in a creepy dark closet somewhere in a haunted house. It just felt *yucky*. In the morning when I left I saw tiny zip lock bags - like the kind drug users put their drugs in - on the ground in parking lot. Staff was rude, wanted to charge me extra $2 deposit at check in to make sure I returned plastic key to front desk in morn. It appeared that there was an entire family who owned the place living in the room or apartment behind front desk area. I usually prefer to support independent small businesses but when it comes to road side motels it's best to stay at corporate chains only because then at least someone can be held accountable if the quality is below standards. The corporate brands usually have some sort of standards the owners must uphold in order to associate with that brand.
Hated The Arizonna Inn
The toliet was broken, no heat would only blow cold air, tempes were in the low 40's. Told desk and she was more concerned with her telephone conversation. The wireless internet they advertised didn't work even in there office. Clerk said oh a couple last night couldn't get it to work, sorry. The room was not very clean. When we checked out I told the manager of the problems and all he said is, well I am sorry but some times she forgets to tell me everythig. We have been staying in motels since 9 / 17 / 07 on a cross country trip. We have had some ok rooms and some great rooms. This by far the worst room ever.
Stay away at all cost, sleep in your car
This was the worst hotel ever. We stopped after 10 hours of travel and thought " How bad can it be? " We had no idea. The air conditioner blew hot air, the room smelled of mildew and must. The recliner in the room looked like it had been pulled out of the dump. The smoke detector was hanging by wires off of the wall. The bathroom door had " you suck " written on it. I guess that's what you get for $30.

What a nightmare! I don't expect much from older motels but this is awful! The room was NASTY, the owner was extremely RUDE, & every NONSMOKING room was actually two adjoining rooms with an interior door.. but guess what it adjoined to.. a SMOKING room. What?!? That makes no sense at all! It just goes to show you the mentality of how the motel is managed. You can't make a living by being rude to your prospective customers. By the lack of vehicles in the parking lot & the long list of bad reviews.. they will soon find that out.
Air Freshener
Check in and check out was quick and efficient. The room was clean, fairly comfortable and had the facilities as promised. The included WiFi worked well. We set off the smoke alarm when running the shower, apparently it was too much steam so we had to keep a towel over it. We stayed here 2 nights for our visit to the Grand Canyon which suited us fine. The only issue we had is with the room being over sprayed with air freshener. I am sensitive to aerosols and it was so strong we could both taste it all night and smell it in my hair for 2 days. It was too much. Otherwise would recommend as a good priced budget hotel to lay your head.
Avoid, dirty
There's no nicer way to say what's in the title. Yep, quite cheap, but still not worth it. Dumpy, smelly, dirt. Yeah, I know I shouldn't have stayed here. But now you know, too. The place isn't worth it & is to be avoided.
Clean, safe hotel. Nice for the price
Booked on Hotels.com where the property had good reviews, Later check TripAdvisor and saw bad reviews, so I got nervous. Many of these reviews were older and it looks like the issues have been addressed. I found the property clean, safe and the staff friendly. Definitely no frills, but definitely an excellent value. Would happily recommend.
Smelly, run down, no upkeep
Non smoking room was not ready for prime time. Smelled like mildew, ashtray. Walls were stained. It may be the most disgusting room I've every stayed in-and I have a high tolerance. How can these people let people stay in rooms like this? Bit of an attitude as well. Trash and junk all over the place. Obvious the " hosts " do not care about their image. DO NOT GO HERE!
Never again..
My sister suggested this place and since it was for only 1 night we stayed, family owned and lives on the property. Big mistake. The lady at the office had no personality which should have been a hint right there. $2 charge for room key didn't bother me since you get it back when you return the key. The lady asked how many people in the room, I tell her 2 but because there was 3 of us standing there she asked me again as if I were lying. They ask for your license plate number even though there were no cars in the parking lot except their own. The rooms smelled horribly so I opened a window. It was hot so we turned on the air only to find out that the air didn't work. I went to the front and was told they regulate it and only turn it on when it's really hot so I told them it needed to be on by the time I returned since I was going out for a bit. When i used the restroom, i tried to shut the door but it would beige the doorknob was broken. The walls SHOULD be white but they weren't. The bathroom had stuff all over the walls since they obviously never clean them, it was so disgusting. There were no lights except the bathroom light and where the sink was. The bed looked clean but I wouldn't walk around without socks since the room had nasty stuff on the walls and furniture as well. The walls are really thin so he hear your neighbors talking. We left without showering since i couldn't trust that the rooms were actually cleaned. My sister tells me after we left that the owner walked around in the morning taking everyone's license plate number to make sure other people aren't staying in the room as well. They also spy on you i noticed when i would go out to my car. When we left the next morning i noticed the same front desk lady was also cleaning the rooms. Problem is, she spent about 10 minutes in the room which confirmed that they aren't cleaned. I don't think sheets are replaced either. I walked by her cart and there wasn't 1 cleaning product on it. Nor was there clean sheets. Don't stay there. I would rather pay twice as much or more to know my room was cleaned properly.
Clean, Comfortable Room--A Pleasant Stay!
This was a stopover stay, on way to Sedona, and we were pleasantly surprised at the fine condition and helpful staff for such a budget place! Two beds, fridge and microwave cost just $50 on a summer Friday night! The room was clean, great free Wi-Fi, very quiet and efficient A / C, and continental breakfast with good orange juice! I will definitely make this my destination motel if I ever need to stay in Kingman again!
Mr and mrs Dafis
We arrived on our Harley as a part of a three week tour of Nevada Arizona and Utah and booked this motel on the internet. The owners were Indian and lovely people, accommodating our every need. We arrived before the room was ready, but this lovely family made sure that we could have a room and we were allowed to leave our biking gear in safety in the reception while we sorted ourselves out although there were workmen in reception doing work etc. there was an electrical storm the night we stayed there the owners made sure that we were ok and safe. The next day when we were leaving and wanted to visit some of the local museums the owners looked after our bike gear and helmets etc for most of the day until we were ready to move on. Highly recommended, ok you can pick holes in stupid things, but these are genuinely nice people who do their best to look after you.
Great place to stay!
It is not much to look at from the outside but the rooms are very nice inside. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and very quiet, and the Calico restaurant across the street has great food. There is an ice machine and a soda machine, and breakfast is served in the morning.
Winter passing in Arizona
The Arizona Inn, is located a block off Interstate 40--Exit 48 in Kingman, Arizona. Very easy to find and there is a restaurant just across their parking lot and another across the street. Also across the street is the Excellent Mojave County Museum and a bit down the street is the visitor center and the Route 66 museum. There is s lot to see here and the golf course is so helpful. This is a " Mom and Pop " style motel where you can park in front of your room and have a short distance to carry your bags. My husband and I love this style as I have a bad back and makes it easy for me. The motel is being updated, and has brand new doors and windows. The door locks are state of art--flat access. The maid service is exceptional --just ask for something needed, and of course--the price is right with no increase for weekends.

rooms seemed clean on entering but soon changed on inspection. Tiles loose in bathroom, mold in bath area, and a dirty mark at base of toilet bowl. Yes, I know cheap to stay, BUT I have stayed in similar priced places and they were much better. Man that greet us was strange.. sniffed my husband when he requested non smoking.. WTF???
very comfy mattress
I decided to see what was on the south side of the interstate this time (north side is loaded with choices and traffic coming from Vegas). Saw a Motel 6 & the Arizona. I decided to try a non brand place and pulled into the AZ parking lot. It is very well kept and nice and clean. I did not hear the road noise experienced before on the north side. The mattress was firm just the way I like it. The price was very reasonable ($40 + tax). Overall I would stay here again. I was in room 112.

Quarto bom, limpo, grande, cama grande, banheiro limpo e bem localizado. Serve café da manhã simples. Excelente parada, com restaurante e lanchonete próximos. Típico motel americano e com o necessário.

Un hotel basique et finalement pas si mal à l'entrée de Kingman. Pour le prix on ne s'attend pas au grand luxe mais au strict minimum. Chambre: correcte - un peu vieillote (vieux pommeau de douche) mais bien entretenue Petite piscine, propre et accessible à toute heure. Petit frigo dans la chambre.
Very nice and clean hotel
Two nights on the 4th of July. Very resonable priced. Rooms were very clean and staff is excellent. I would recommend this hotel for anyone coming through Kingman. I would compare it to many chain hotels across the country that I have stayed in as being a better price and much cleaner.
Good for one night stay
Hotel was OK. It was the cheapest we could find on internet, and just for one night. Best location in Kingman to sleep then go early to Hoover Dam / Las Vegas. No fridge or microwave. Room was pretty " tired ". But, it was only $47.38 incl tax; others were over $60. Sooo, depends on what you want to do in Kingman. BTW, restaurants all close early, by 9:30pm, so plan accordingly.
Ideal sroppover for route 66
This is a basic motel for travelling on a budget basic facilities in the room, but clean and comfortable. No tea or coffee, anywhere, only at breakfast. Not much anywhere in the town either, so eat early, or bring your own food.
Avoid if you want to sleep
It may be other places that suffer the same fate as this one in all of 'historic' Kingman, that trains pass in the middle night, sounding their horns as they do, every 30 minutes or so, waking up those who are light sleepers, while even heavy sleepers, like myself, woke up at least 4 times during the night. If you are on your way to or from the grand canyon, stop here during the day, or have dinner, but try sleeping somewhere else.

Estuvimos con mi familia en el Arizona Inn mientras recorriamos la Ruta 66. Nos quedamos allí por una noche. El hotel está bien ubicado a la entrada de Kingman, cerca de algunas atracciones y lugares para comer. Los cuartos son cómodos para el precio que se está pagando (por 60 dólares nos quedamos tres personas en un cuarto). El cuarto tenía una heladera, teléfono y televisión. Los baños también completos y si se necesita secador de pelo se puede pedir en la administración. En general el cuarto y el baño estaban muy limpios. Además el hotel cuenta con lavandería. Es un motel muy modesto y por lo tanto no hay grandes lujos, pero creo que por ese precio no puede esperarse otra cosa. El personal es sumamente amable. Fui varias veces a pedir cosas y siempre me atendieron muy bien. Como contras, creo que los baños se ven un poco antiguos y deberían mejorarse un poco.
Cheap & tolerable
If you're looking for a cheap stay without any amenities, this would work. However, staff isn't helpful and the room wasn't the cleanest. The shower had mold and floor didn't seem well cleaned. Maintenance here also couldn't have been a priority.
Nasty! Lie about the rooms
After a few hours my whole family was itching like crazy, we packed our stuff up and left. The sign says " refrigerators and microwaves " but they don't have them in all the rooms if you complain they get pissed. Demanded a refund and they acted shocked and said they had never had complained about bugs before, I see from this site that is not true. Rooms are FILTHY.
Average but clean
Arrived at 10 o'clock on and got checked in right away. Front desk employee was happy and helpful. Hotel room was average and clean. Bathroom needed updating. Bathtub was chipped and needs replacing but was clean and we were just there to sleep and shower and get on the road. Area was OK and it seemed safe enough for families traveling.
