Great Denny's
We have only been to this Denny's once. We don't tend to get to Fountain Valley that often, but we are sure glad we stopped for breakfast there. It was just great. The place is neat and clean and the staff is super friendly. We were so happy. The coffee was hot and refilled. Thank you. We loved their lunch items even though it was morning. They have some great sandwiches and their egg dishes are really good. We tried gravy for the first time here and it was very good and great for dipping as well. We liked everything about this Denny's and will stop there again.
Price reasonable, food average
Wouldn't go out of my way to come here again. Place is kept up nice and staff was friendly but over extended.
Denny's visit on recent stay in Fountain Valley
During a stay at Ayres Hotel we ate here on a couple of occasions. We were happy with the food, a special mention to Raul (apologies if spelt incorrectly!) for highly exceptional service.
A Tasty and Good Value Senior Menu
My wife and I had a very nice senior menu breakfast at this Denny's. We both had the scrambled eggs with cheddar senior item and it came with two very fluffy and delicious pancakes, two strips of bacon and two sausage links. I especially liked that the pancakes were served with a large supply of syrup and were already buttered with a fluffy butter patty. All was quite tasty and we barely could eat it all. We actually took home all four sausage links for a future home cooked meal. The place was 90% full at 10:00 AM and service ws slow but attentive. Slow service prevented a five star rating but we will definitely eat there again. The lunch and dinner menus had huge selections of appetizing items at what I think are very reasonable prices. When we return for lunch or dinner, I will evaluate again. Senior means over 55. Since I am 71 and my wife is almost 68, no ID was required. Our server (Fernando) was bilingual and was very attentive to a large Hispanic family in the booths near us. We left a generous cash tip. Lots of parking. Easy access. I also liked the easy pay feature. Server will take care of it if you wish or if you are in a hurry, pay at the register.
Buen desayuno, mala atención
El desayuno estaba espectacular, pero fuimos a Denny's precisamente porque teníamos poco tiempo, y se demoraron como 40 minutos en servirnos nuestra orden. Demasiado tiempo para un restaurante como ese. Cada 5 minutos alguien nos decía que ya salía nuestro pedido.
Slowest Service in the West
It took forever for us to be seated even though the place was not even busy. Then the waiter took forever to take our order. We almost gave up on getting our order taken and almost walked out before the waiter came to take our order.
This is a great family place - good food, reasonably priced, convenient location
This is the usual Denny's, but the staff is very friendly and service is good. We live near here and go quite often. It never disappoints.
When you visit Fountain Valley. Eat here first
There many Denny's in and around Fountain Valley, but this one has the best customer service. Anywhere. One Denny's Is Not Like The Other, and there are many to choose from but this one inside Town Center, does it right and you can spend less money here than at any fast food place and get better value and better portions. Eat here and when you done you can work it off, by walking around mile square park or by playing some golf. Remember that--- One Denny's Is Not Like The Other. So spend your food money / budget wisely.
