True colors of Rogers Arena

We would like to thank arena's amazing staff for great support and customer service! JANET, JAY, LORAINE, PERSONNEL at the gate 16, a LADY host at the disabled section (she helped us in getting the drinks). Thank you very much! You did a great job and we can't thank you enough for this experience. Loraine helped us over the phone and gave all instructions and reservations for the wheelchair. Janet and Jay host for disabled people made our experience as smooth as it could possible be. Guys at the gate allowed us to stay there till our taxi came and entertained us with the pleasant conversation). The only huge disappointment was bully operator, who said he doesn't film losers when we jokingly asked why he didn't show us on the screen (we wore Jets jerseys). When we asked for his name, he refused to give it to us. I hope Rogers arena's management can appreciate its staff on our behalf!

Very accommodating

From the time I bought my tickets 4 months ago until game day, the staff were amazing and bent over backwards to make sure I saw the game. I called Rogers arena and spoke to LORAINE whom was extremely helpful in arranging me a host to take me from the street level gate to my seats as I am disabled and did not know there was a lot of stairs to get to my seats which they did not feel comfortable with me attempting. JAY was my host whom was great and fast at taking me in a wheelchair all the way up to guest services where I met another host named JANET, she was amazing and showed me to my new seats in her section on the accessible platform which were amazing seats and great view, also the option to have food and beverage brought right to your seat is a great option for people on walking devices etc. Hands down to the hospitality of JANET (host), LORAINE (phone) and JAY (host), 5 stars for them. ALSO... I did not get the gentleman's name at the end of the game at gate 16 whom allowed us to sit there as long as we needed while we waited on the couch for my disabled transportation. He was in a grey suit, white mustache and hair, very approachable and 5 STARS 1 STAR for the camera crew that came down by gate 16 and told us we don't film losers because we were wearing Winnipeg jets jerseys, totally unprovoked and like they were doing there best to shine as elementary school bullies which actually surprised me in the crowd they chose as there were a lot of mentally challenged disabilities in wheelchairs staging there waiting for there disabled transportations etc.

Bella architettura

Rogers Arena tour minus the best part

Our tour guide was fabulous and made the tour interesting. I was glad to be able to see the players' benches and penalty boxes, some luxury suites and other places where the average fan doesn't get to go. As our guide explained, since Covid and the multi-million dollar renovations to the players' dressing rooms, tours aren't allowed in there anymore. However, many other world class teams allow fans in their dressing rooms, so this was VERY disappointing. My friends have visited Chelsea FC in the UK and FC Milan, and both places allow fans in - and I daresay they're as big or bigger a deal than the Vancouver Canucks. The Aquilini family needs to remember who pays for the tickets that fund the arena in the first place, and change their policies to be more fan-friendly. Put down some temporary carpet runners and put up some " rope " to block people from certain areas, but for heaven's sakes, let paying fans see the main place we all want to see!

I felt totally ripped off

Paid $460 for 2 tickets, Canuks vs Chicago. OK expensive but it's an event experience, right! The evening started with a $40.00 parking surprise, we arrived early so we could have a meal, $58.00 later we had 2 burgers and fries, a coke and a beer, seriously?? The first period was great, Canuks up by 2, unfortunately the next 2 periods both teams fell asleep and that's how it ended. An hour later we got out of the parking lot only to find out we had an other 45 mins to get out of down town. My first and my last experience with a live Canuks game. Enjoy the riches while you can, sooner or later people say enough guys.

Terrible effort, should have stayed home. What a colossal waste of money and time

The boys gave an F- effort tonight. Should have know better than to spend $ for entertainment just to watch the Knights have an uninterrupted skate. What a pitiful performance. Great job avoiding physical contact boys.

Not a Bad Seat!

Good place for watching hockey games and now they have installed a new jumbo screen for watching the game highlights! Expensive to get tickets plus the food & beverages are not cheap! However it's a great night out especially if you're team is winning!!

One Off

Attended a Canucks game and if your used to English / Irish stadium experiences - your in for some shock! more about the eating / drinking / entertainment element than the actual game. felt totally detached with what was going on during the game due to the contusious party element. might be for some folf, but not for us.

From NC, came for Laver Cup tennis

A darn good place for events; warm staff, easy to negotiate access, bathrooms and eats and drinks. Good location too, as we stayed in the huge complex of high rises nearby at Olympic Village (better prices than hotels near and with a whole apartment) about.8m away. And great prices co Oates to every other arena I have frequented.

Brilliant night

We went to watch Vancouver Canucks vs sea krakens it was a brilliant night food and drinks were reasonably price and very nice. The people who work there was friendly and very helpful absolutely loved the ice hockey match highlight of our trip to Vancouver.

Thomas Rhett at Rogers Arena

Great concert by Thomas Rhett and friends. Rogers Arena very clean and lots of friendly helpful security and staff.

2022-12-30 14:41:57

Great fidelity for a big arena

Although the excessive cost of parking and absurd traffic patterns following an event at Rogers Arena must be noted the Arena itself is great for hockey and music, a recent Arcade Fire show offering good acoustic fidelity and a very accommodating staff. No Stanley Cup banners to muffle the sound, as a bonus! ;-)

Fantastic visit

First timers at a hockey game on Tuesday we were so well welcomed and looked after - our seats on the wheelchair platform were great with an amazing view. The service for food and drink was great and very welcome. Particular thanks to Jill English who looked after all our needs so brilliantly. We can't fault our experience for our first visit to Vancouver woukd definitely recommend going to a hockey game here we are so glad we did.

~~ Good Security Measures ~~~

I was surprised and excited that my business associate invited me to the Canuck's hockey game against Hurricanes at the luxury suite last night, what a lovely place to watch a hockey game, private entry away from the crowd, suite very spacious for 10 of us, lot of rooms to move around, very clean and mordant, premium catering and friendly professional staff, when the game start, what a earsplitting atmosphere and who said Vancouver is not a Hockey Town ! over all Rogers Arena is a beautiful massive place, lot of different place to eat and drink and very expensive but safe and comfortable atmosphere, good security measures, great way to see any sports game, concerts, show, central location easy assess to sky train, during the 1995 till 2010 known as G. M Place, Once again, Canuck lost all sever games they play so far ! but over all, I had a a fun time. Thank you for the surprised !

Arizona and the Rogers

I went to watch Vancouver Canucks against Arizona Coyotes at the Rogers Arena. This was a pre-season game, and although it would have been nice to have seen a competitive game, this was dictated by the time of our visit. The game was on a Friday evening so having arrived in Vancouver on the Thursday night we spent the day exploring the city and also located the stadium. We had a couple of beers at one of the many bars on our way down to the stadium - to get us in the mood. The arena is fantastic and a great atmosphere is created and the Canucks ended up winning 3-0. The only drawbacks are that, as at other North American sports stadium the drinks and food are extortionate, like 3 or 4 times high street prices, which is fine but often you might just buy a beer expecting it to be a bit more expensive than elsewhere. We bought our tickets via ticketmaster, showed them to a Canucks official on the way in and entry was seemless, even though no bar code was present on the tickets which were sent to me and added to my phone passport. Thanks Cannucks for a great evening out!

Nice experience

We went to a hockey game while visiting Vancouver and had a nice time. The seats are a bit worn; there are nice food and drink offerings, and the entry process was fairly quick.

Canucks Game

Had the oportunity to went for a canucks game and was amazing i love this place tickets were a bit expensive but worth it

2022-01-15 19:29:52

Hockey

There are lots of hockey games that are played here for the Vancouver Canucks. Concerts can be here too. They serve nice food at the games and it's organized.

2021-08-12 23:08:19

Large NHL Arena

Large Arena on the edge of downtown, lots of parking around it. Has canucks flags and signs all around it so it is easy to find.

Canucks game was awesome got tickets at Prime Seat Club

We went to our first Canucks game in 2018 and loved it! Bought them at Vancouver Canucks prime seat club online was so easy, just downloaded the tickets and voila.

2020-10-30 14:14:17

Rogers Arena

Awesome Canucks

Watching a game in person is just a different experience. It was so exciting and busy. I really miss the atmosphere, everyone wearing kinda the same shirts.

2020-08-16 10:25:27

First time at a NHL game

Went to our first ice hockey game at Rogers stadium. Great game. Good pre game entertainment. The facilities are were great. Easy to get food and drinks. Plenty of toilets.

2020-05-02 15:48:37

Great Facility

I have been to Rogers Arena many times, both to work and enjoy the entertainment. It is the home arena for the Vancouver Canucks. It was also the main arena for the 2010 Winter Olympics, though it wasn't named Rogers arena at the time. Rogers Arena also hosts several concerts, and live events a year. There are several food and drink vendors on all levels, to help fulfill your needs.

2020-03-03 06:12:15

First Hockey Game

we visited rogers arena on a recent trip to canda - and wanted to experience a hockey game - the arena seemed to be great - easy to navigate and get in, tons of food and drink options with tons of atmosphere! seats - even though we were at the back was super clear and comfy we had a great time

2020-03-01 05:42:56

Went to see the Warriors and the Canucks

My 12 year old son and I went to a Vancouver Warriors Lacrosse game and a Canucks NHL game on consecutive nights earlier this month. Both experiences were great except for the extreme vulgarity of the fans both nights. I take my kids to a lot of sporting events in the states and they are pretty street wise, bad language doesn't phase them.... but.... this was over the top both nights. The first night we had to move from our seats because the row behind us was occupied by 7 Twentysomethings who were completely drunk before they sat down. I figured, whatever, having some fun at the game. Our second seat location (lots of empty seats for the LaX game) was next to an older couple in their 50s. About 20 minutes in, the husband started yelling and screaming words that I absolutely did not expect. We had to move again, this time way up away from the glass to an area by ourselves. More of the same the next night but I expected it from Canuck fans who pride themselves on being hardcore fans. Overrall good times were had but I just wasnt' expecting the R rated language at such a high volume.

Nice Hockey Venue!

We came with one of our grand-kids & son to watch the last game of the Sedin week. Well worth coming to see how much they enjoyed the event. End result the Canucks lost, however it was something for the memory book!

2020-02-17 10:11:49

Fantastic Venue

Visited here last week to watch a Canucks ice hockey game, it's a great facility and a fantastic atmosphere.

Rogers Arena

Very nice place. I went there to attend 2 concerts last year. The staff are very helping and the place is too big. The amazing point is when you go out of the stadium you won't have problem with stuck in the crowd.

2020-02-11 18:48:49

Concerts

Concerts in there are perfect, good sound and super safe, if you want to assist to a concert better tip is do not take big purses with you, so you can avoid the big line, food and beers are expensive (as always in all events) but the environment is safe

Amazing complex and views from this multi-purpose show arena

Just being inside, along with seeing and feeling the atmosphere, you sense you are in a state of the art facility.

CANUCKS.. Highlight of our trip to Vancouver

We tried to get tickets for the game before we left Australia for Cananda, unfortunaltely just could not get them. : ( It was on my bucket list to watch the Canucks play home, it would have been awesome. I am 60 y. o and just love the game. The next best thing for me was to do the tour. My husband and 18 yo son was so so about the tour. Well, we met our tour guide in the merchandise store, FANTASTIC.. I was so excited and emotional (would you believe) and teared up just from the excitement of being there, and my first glimpse of the ice rink was... I have no words, the tour was unbelievable and both my husband and son loved it so much as well. I have to say, during our 3 week visit to Canada, it was the best of best experience for the 3 of us. Finally something that we all loved together. Walking around behind scenes and the stories our tour guide told us he just had us there in the palm of his hand, felt like we were there, with each of the games he talked about, the excitement we felt, the pictures on the walls in the private boxes, unbelievable. Hearing some stories of our favourite players especially Elias OMG loved it.. A must to do.. Mind you, we walked out of the merchandise shop with armfulls. KUDOS to our tour guide we had, and a BIG Thankyou

2020-01-14 18:42:43

Exciting game

We went to the arena on a Canucks game, just before Christmas. It was a very exciting experience. The view is perfect from any place you seat. Easy walk from the train, well organized, no lines.

2020-01-13 18:08:10

Canucks games are a must if you're visiting

First time in a hockey game and it definitely didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is amazing and surprisingly very family-friendly. Buy your tickets in advance since a couple of days before the prices really take a hike (even on StubHub or similar sites).

2019-12-22 00:19:27

Canucks rock!

It is just such a cool event to cheer on local hockey at this stadium. The wait line was short, the seats were cheap for pro hockey, and we had a frickin blast watching these guys on ice. DO THIS if you are a hockey fan at all when you visit Vancouver.

2019-12-16 01:32:44

Canucks game

there is nothing to prepare you for a night at the hockey, Rogers arena is an amazing place. its a night to remember. staff were friendly and helpful.

Rogers Arena Tour on Game Day

I would highly recommend the arena tour on game day. You get a chance to see players on the ice practicing, and the behind the scenes of the arena. A highlight for my family was sitting in the GM box and the press box as well as touring the alumni box. You wont see the dressing rooms on game day, but it was a fantastic tour, well worth the $25.

2019-12-03 16:43:44

Great Fun!

We did a game-day tour of the arena and enjoyed it more than we expected. Our guide, Peter, was lots of fun and took us to places we would never have otherwise seen. We got to watch our team practice, and were the only ones there not part of the team. After the tour we took advantage of our 10% discount to make a few purchases in the team store. A fun way for hockey fans to spend an hour.

Game Day - Rogers Arena tour

The Rogers arena tour was very good. I have lived in BC my entire life and attended many events at Rogers Arena, aka GM Place. This tour was interest and i learned several things that I never knew. The tour guide was very knowledgable, nice, and personable. The tour starts in the Canuck Team Store, but there are no signs telling you where to register, and we just happened to ask someone as we stood in line to buy some new Canucks items. We ended up putting them away on layaway because we didn't have time to pay for them before the tour started. We scheduled the 10:15, so we could see the pre-game skate, as it " hints " in the tour description. My only beef about the tour was that we could go no lower than 15rows so we weren't " a distraction " to the players and staff during their pre-game skate. The problem was, there were another 50+ people down at the glass getting autographs and sticks from the players, so I don't understand how WE would be any more distraction than the people " who know someone ". AND we only spent about 10min watching the practice before we were ushered onto other parts of the tour. The reality is, I wasn't there to learn more about Rogers Arena, even though the information that I learned was interesting, I was there to watch the pregame skate. So, if you think that you are going there to watch the pregame skate, you will be disappointed. In my opinion, Rogers Arena was not the attraction, it was the hockey that lured me in. I paid $25 / person to do the tour which is a little pricey in my opinion, but when you consider a beer during the game is $10 or bottled water is $4, i guess it is on par. With that all being said, the HIGHLIGHT of the tour, was when it ended and we just happened to run into one of the Canucks coming out of the Team Store and he was gracious enough to stop for a few pictures and sign a couple autographs. It MADE the tour for my wife, daughter and I. I am not sure if you may be that lucky.

2019-11-16 19:52:59

Excellent sports venue

Rogers arena was very clean and easy to navigate for us. We were seated in the upper bowl and our seats had excellent views of the hockey game. We walked around the arena and It looks like all of seating has very good views of the game. The ushers were nice and helpful. There were many concession stands with easy access and decent food. Also, Rogers arena is within walking distance to several hotels.

2019-11-12 14:08:33

One of the Best Arenas!

Well run, clean, safe arena for Canucks games and other events / concerts / activities. The arena is circular with access from all direction the ice (stage) in the centre. Roger's Arena, where every seat in the Arena is a good seat

2019-11-11 21:23:42

Devil of a Night Part " 2 "

Lucky to come back and watch the Canucks play the New Jersey Devil's again. Fun afternoon event & nice facility, however the out come was disappointing! Will be back maybe a win next time?

2019-11-06 01:07:57

Outstanding venue

I've been going here for years. Since it opened actually. The facility is first class. It's held it's stature of being an excellent building for concerts and sports events. As well as trade shows. Well done Rogers arena. And complex.

Canucks Practice / Arean Tour

As a Canucks fan I had a wonderful experience on my Roger's Arena tour! Our tour guide, Dave, was great and very friendly, he knew a lot about the team and the history of the Canucks. On games days the tour allows for fans to watch the team practices, Vancouver has the first practice around 10am and the visiting team takes the ice 60-90 later. Non games days the tour includes seeing the visiting locker room. The tour alone is fantastic to see the different rooms and history. But being able to watch the players skate is great, often players will toss a puck to fans. The tour is about $20 and I highly recommend this tour to hockey fans.

2019-10-21 13:31:23

Canucks are back

Hockey is exciting again. The team looks youthful and fun to watch. The arena had a lot of great updates and the home opener was amazing.

2019-10-16 05:37:50

2019-10-14 20:35:21

Getting Tired

The Canucks are no longer the successful highly skilled team they were a few years ago. Struggling under new ownership they have not found an identity. Their play shows it as does Rogers Arena. Good news tickets much cheaper. Bad news the Stadium could use an upgrade. Even the club seat section was tired - nothing special - no different from any other section.

2019-10-11 17:06:18

Exciting!

Treat yourself to tickets to a Canucks ice-hockey game during your stay in Vancouver. It's fast and exciting and the atmosphere is great. The arena is an easy walk from downtown Vancouver.

2019-03-29 03:51:49

Another NHL building under my belt

I've been in hockey for a number of years but somehow I've only been to a couple Canadian arenas. Rogers Arena was amazing. When you walk the concourse you feel like you're in a strip plaza or nice restaurant or mall. There are many options for delicious Vancouver Cuisine and wine. Also amazing selections of their local Stanley Park Brewery beer. At Rogers Arena you go to a sporting event but you don't have to eat crummy ballpark food. The prices were very reasonable and the food was delicious. Yes, my seats were amazing but it didn't appear that there would be a bad seat in the house. Unfortunately for Canucks fans they lost 5-0 to the Blue Jackets but I'm not mad about that. :) I mean really, we're all fighting for a playoff spot. My local home town team needs to step up their game.

2019-03-24 19:53:01

Game day your awesome!

Had an awesome time at the game day tour. Watched some practice and saw the press box the boys loved it. Wish we could have seen the dressing room but we knew that may not be possible on game day.

Roger's Arena - Vancouver, BC Canada

Great venue to watch the Vancouver Canucks play hockey. Wheelchair accessible and personal assistance to anybody who needs help with their mobility. Family friendly atmosphere and Fin the mascot is always around to interact with the children who attend and anybody else who wants to meet him. Fun filled activities between periods and the media capture fans doing all kinds of crazy dances or kissing couples that are captured live on the jumbotron. Good food venues and liquor / liquid refreshments are available. The 50 / 50 draw has been up to 1 million dollars. They have special club sections and rooms available for viewing. Everyone gets involved in supporting our CANUCKS!!!

2019-02-26 13:40:32

Atmosphere! Atmosphere! Atmosphere

As an Aussie who loves his sport but is hesitant about attending arenas and stadiums out of fear of missing the game due to long toilet lines and punishing waits for food. This will NOT disappoint! The atmosphere was electric! The crowd was incredibly passionate! The food and toilet lines were seemingly non existent! And the in between game entertainment was awesome, lots of giveaways, entertainment, music and things to watch (for novice fans, the rink cleaning was fascinating haha) Would highly recommend attending a game at this arena anytime you are in Vancouver!

2019-02-22 14:39:12

Very nice place

We went to see an NHL game, walked from the hotel even though it was snowing, its very well located and if you are in a hotel downtown or near the Chinese neighborhood you are minutes away by foot. We bought tickets for the club section witch has a private entrance bigger seats and service (food and drinks) to your seat. Don't bring big bags or big camera lenses, they will ask you to leave them in front of gate 7 and after the game the row is very big as you can imagine.

2019-01-19 18:04:59

Canucks game is a requirement!

We couldn't visit Vancouver without catching a hockey game and fortunately the Canucks were in town. Tickets were reasonably priced and we got a seat right behind the goalie. Great game and got lucky to see a fight right in front of us :) Super fun and highly recommended!

2018-11-20 14:07:48

Winter Peg vs Canucks!

Went to the Canuck versus Winnipeg game, which was an interesting event. Canucks were supporting the fight against Cancer on this night!! Always a fun time going to this venue win or loose! Recommend coming to the event with Skytrain to avoid the driving in the traffic. Food & drinks are pricey!

2018-08-27 19:48:04

Great hockey venue

Great hockey venue, sightlines are excellent, shame the Canucks tend to stink the place up most nights but when things get rolling the atmosphere is incredible Don't be worried about saving money and going for the cheap seats up top as they still offer great views - I've been lower bowl row 5 and I've been in the gods and both have their merits. Go for the cheap seats and save some money for beer (you'll need it, drinking isn't cheap here) It's lacking Wi-Fi but apparently thats coming next year and the seats could do with updating to the teams colours

2018-08-12 12:27:10

Rock concert

Fantastic! I have mobility issues and they were super helpful and always concerned with my ability to get around easily, comfortably and really enjoy the show. Everyone was very friendly and had answers to all of our questions. The venue is very easy to get around even when busy. Lots of choices for food, drink, and merch. The sound was awesome! So impressed. Not a bad seat in the house.

The Garage

GM Place (it'll always be GM Place to me!) opened in September 1995 and, since then, has served as home to the Vancouver Canucks and hosted many a live concert event. Noted by many sports commentators for being a " beautiful " arena, GM Place can comfortably hold just over 19, 000 people. The arena is well laid out and easy to navigate, which is a plus, especially when the grounds can get quite crowded. I've visited this place a few times over the years, for both hockey and concerts. Regardless of my reason for being here, I've enjoyed each visit. And while I'm hardly a hockey fan, I will readily admit that games here can be quite exciting, even sans commentary, thanks to the vibrant energy of the Canucks fanbase. One cannot help but be enveloped by the energy and get into the game! In this respect, my very first Canucks game at this venue is still quite memorable. It occurred in October 2001 - very early on in the season. My dad had purchased tickets and insisted we go. Not one to decline anything free, I said " sure! " It was a fun game - even to a non-hockey fan. The Canucks were playing host to the Colorado Avalanche. Right from the get-go, fans in GM Place were rabid and loud - full of energy - cheering on the home team. I suspect the immense energy of the fans rubbed off on the Canucks because they were in rare form that night and not only won the game, but did so with an impressive shutout. How often does that happen? Not a lot, so it was a pretty fun experience. If you're a fan of the sport, I'd recommend checking the arena out for a game or two. Besides hockey, I've also attended a couple of live shows here; perhaps the most noteworthy of these concerts being Neil Diamond's 50th Anniversary tour. Without getting too wordy, it is simply enough to say that the show was superlative, outstanding and, indeed, legendary. The excellent acoustics of the arena played well to Diamond's voice and the various musical instruments. The crowd ate it up! Perhaps most impressive of all was that, despite being 76 years old, Mr. Diamond did not phone-in his performance (as many artists less than half his age have done) ; instead, he sang all of his hits - from " Cherry Cherry " to " Forever in Blue Jeans " and " Sweet Caroline " - just as well as they might've been delivered decades before. Ever the showman, Diamond played to the audience and the sold out Vancouver crowd reciprocated respect for the legend. It was a great show in a solid venue. For me, it's even more significant now because this performance marked one of Mr. Diamond's last before his sudden retirement.

Bem legal

Canucks Game

Went with friends / family and had a great time watching the Canucks beat Boston. Concessions are pricy so we had dinner and drinks before hand. The best food I found at the game was the shaved roast beef sandwiches.

2018-02-03 18:14:36

Canucks vs Colorado Avalanche

Nice arena with good food vendors, wine and beer stations, souvenirs for fans. The seats in the arena were comfortable even after 3 hrs, temperature inside for the game perfect. Good clear screens for plays you may have missed or from a bad angle. Security is very well in place for any events going on here. We had great seats in section 116 row 8 seats 7-10. Nice thing was Vancouver came out on top 4-3 in overtime !!! Just a note for food and drinks.. Not cheap

First Canucks Game... Great Stadium

Beautiful stadium. Fantastic guest / customer experience. So many food and drinks options on the 100 level we were spoiled. Calvin took great care of us in club level seating. Could have spent more time here without a doubt. Look forward to visiting again.

Ice hockey, concerts, great people and atmosphere

My first time at Rogers Arena was funnily enough, not for a Canucks game! If you're at the arena for the first time and you'd like the chance to wander and check out the hockey memorabilia and / or arena, then I don't think it matters which gate you enter from cos you get the chance to walk around. If it's during a Canucks game, then all areas as well as food / beverage stalls and the Team Store are open for you to check out. If it's during a concert or other event, then only some food / beverage stalls and areas are open. The arena is a big facility and it's easy to not know where you're going but you can ask any of the arena staff and they'll be more than happy to assist. I wanted to experience a Canucks game and for me, it didn't matter who they were playing. I ended up watching the game against Boston Bruins and it was enjoyable. I sat in section 103 and the view was excellent until the puck flew out over my head and almost hit a guest sitting not far behind me! Some might say it's expensive but if you're here to experience a Canucks game, I say why not? I've also seen comedy shows, concerts here and all times were enjoyable. On the occasions that I've used the washrooms, I've noticed it can get very busy, look messy and the countertops can be very wet. I'm not deducting a point nor am I blaming the staff. I've seen them work extremely hard at trying to maintain the place clean but hey, one person can only be at one place at any one time, right? If the guests themselves weren't so messy (yes, I've seen many guests not even bothering to throw their used paper towels in the bin), then the place wouldn't look so messy. I thank the arena staff for always doing the best they can at their jobs. If you're ever in Vancouver and want to experience a Canucks game, Rogers Arena is the place! TIP: outside of the NHL season you can only get Canucks merchandise at the Team Store outside Gate 6 (corner of Expo Blvd and Griffiths Way), which is open until 5pm.

Good sound and clean venue -Bruno Mars rocks

I've been to many stadiums and arenas and other smaller venues for concerts, and Rogers Arena was quite a nice surprise. The acoustics were great for a large venue. I have to admit I don't know much about Bruno Mars but know a good sound systems when my cranky old ears hear it. I have left other concerts in the past angry because I just wasted hundreds of dollars listening to a blurry sounding concert. Of course Bruno is an outstanding singer and showman, but I also think the arena is a big part of this. The seating was good, the arena seats and floors were clean and the bathrooms were clean too. The staff were attentive and polite which is important in a crowd control situation. Glad I flew from USA to give it a go!

2017-05-07 00:11:59

The home of the Canucks!

Hokey funs are frequently seen here, but Rogers Arena is also a venue for shows and cultural events. We went there a few times to catch Canucks and also to see Madonna, Lady Gaga, Elton John.

2017-02-07 22:01:09

Great place to see a Canucks game

Great arena. My favorite food vendor is the smoked meat sandwiches. Make sure to go early to watch warmups. Also outside the arena there is an upper street level and a lower street level. Be careful to remember which you are on.

Fã do desconhecido!!

Fora a estrutura dessas arenas americanas!!!

Canucks Hockey Game

Went to a Canucks v. Dallas Stars hockey game. This facility was very nice and clean, the staff were nice and very helpful. The arena offers a wide variety of beer and drinks, many other venues I have been to only offer a few and this facility had a large variety as well as many different locations to get drinks. There was a lot of different food types to enjoy as well as stores to buy affordable merchandise before the game. I was lucky to be within walking distance to the arena, and it seems like you can access any part of downtown from here by a short walk. I definitely recommend checking out a game here if visiting Vancouver, we got very affordable tickets via Stubhub and it was a great experience overall. We were in the last row available; however, the view was great and the seats were comfortable.

Take a Tour of the Home of the Vancouver Canucks

Located in Downtown Vancouver near the BC Place Stadium. Home of the Vancouver Canucks NHL Hockey Team and concert venue. If you're a sports fan, take a behind the scenes tour of the arena. Tickets are available in the Canucks Team Shop -- check website for hours and availability. Looks like a great venue to watch hockey. At conclusion of the tour, you receive a discount coupon for the Team Shop! Make your purchases AFTER the tour to take advantage of the savings. (If you buy a lot, the savings may cover the cost of the tour.)

visit tour

What a great tour - a must for Canucks fans

The tour was just over an hour, and was great fun. We got to see behind-the-scenes places that only Trevor Linden, Jim Benning, and the team would get to see. The stories of the history of the Canucks and the Arena were very interesting, and our tour guide told them well. There were great photos on the walls, most that made us smile, and some that made us sigh. By the end of the tour, I really wished I could afford a season's pass; I would love to be able to see more games live, and spend more time in the building.

2016-01-26 10:12:36

Canucks Game

Me and my mates had a great time at Rogers Arena watching the Canucks. We had seats quite a way back but were still able to see perfectly. There was a great atmosphere in the stadium and I was really impressed by the pre-game experience.

2015-10-25 20:25:02

great space for events - good sound system

We came to the Rogers Arena to watch the Detroit Red Wings play the Vancouver Canucks in NHL hockey. It was a great game with the Red Wings winning in OT. Fun and the Vancouver fans were great. Talked to them during and after the game. What a great place to watch hockey. Great hockey town.

Shania Twain Konzert

Ich war am Shania Konzert am 9. Juni. Was für ein geiles Erlebnis! Die Kanadier standen Kopf und Shania rockte die Halle! Super Event in super Stadion!

2014-03-07 01:52:29

Great Arena

This Oilers fan is pretty jealous. Great, clean and nice looking facilities. My only beef is with the draft beer. Those prices are criminal!

2014-01-10 22:26:08

Great Sight Lines for Hockey!

We have been to a few Canuck games during the past year & have to say that the seating for hockey is very good! I do not understand how people can spend the money on the food, beer, wine & coolers as the prices unbelievable! We enjoy the Costco hotdogs & drinks for less than $2. Best to take transit into the game, as the parking is also very pricey! Schedule your times at the WC, big wait times! Rink with some history, however no Cup Stanley?

2013-10-14 03:36:30

Wow

My friend and I recently went there for a bon jovi concert. Huge place. Ample seating. Ideal place for a game or a concert.

2017-09-29 20:42:32

We are all Canucks

2018-06-19 08:40:38

Esportes e Show

$18 for a beer

Well, what to expect? I've only been to Roger's Arena for concerts, most recently Neil Young and Crazy Horse. You get a decent view even if you're up in the nosebleeds, but you'll have to hand over an arm and a leg if you want a beer. Don't think I've ever, or will ever, pay 18 bucks for a Molson Canadian, but what to do when Mr. Young is playing?

2017-10-27 01:09:28

Great place to watch ice hockey

2 weeks ago, I was hanging around the city without any real purpose. I was with some friends and we didn't really know what to do. Walking in the neighborhood of the BC Place, we started to see more and more people dressed with Canucks dedicated clothes. We decided to follow then because they looked cool ;D and we finally reached the Rogers Arena. One guy offered us tickets for 40$: it's actually such a good deal because the classic tickets are for 60 minimum. So remember that! For the games of the Canucks, don't book before if you want to pay less! Just go in front of the Arena. And furthermore, the atmosphere was awesome ! Just another tip: eat before because food prices are completely unaffordable!

Rogers Arena tour

My friend and I took a tour of Rogers Arena today and I would highly recommend it. Sheryl, our tour guide was absolutely amazing. Sheryl made the tour fun and interactive, she was extremely knowledgeable about the arena. This tour made me fall in love with hockey all over again.

2019-06-22 09:30:35

wonderful

we saw the Andrea Bocelli concert there, and it was amazing. The place is very well organized, with options of parking, comfortable seats and they even offer you free blankets if you are cold

2013-09-08 12:17:56

Eagles Great-Arena Too Hot

Can't understand why arena was so uncomfortably hot. The Eagles were on top of their game, but very uncomfortable viewing in the heat. You cannot go outside, however one of the staff was kind enough to crack the door a bit at intermission and the cool breeze was refreshing. Many people asking to go outside. Drinks are expensive-what's new. Easy to get to seats, however aisles a little tight. Probably will not be a next time.

2014-11-03 00:46:00

Excellent view! Overpriced food

I went here for a hockey match and I was absolutely stunned that from one of the most upper rows in the upper bowl you can easily follow the game. More still, you can easily follow the puck, not by seeing the players, but by actually seeing the puck. The upper bowl is fairly steep and yields an unobstructed view from nearly every seat on the ice. Slightly disappointing are the prices that are asked for the food and drinks. The arena can be easily reached by public transport. You might want to purchase a return ticket in advance as the line at the ticket vending machine gets very long when the match / event is finished.

2016-11-25 12:55:28

Impresionante estadio

2015-08-21 11:58:19

Worth a visit

We visited the arena off-season in summer and booked the tour through the stadium. Simply: Worth it! Took about 1, 5h and we've seen and learned so much about the Canucks, starting from the " Lucky Looney " to the original skates of Bobby Orr! You also get 10% off from the merchandise stuff with the tour pass.

2019-09-03 18:56:36

Gift shop at Rogers Arena

Everything related to the Vancouver Canuks is at this shop, everything, new, old, & worn shirts, pucks that scored a goal, everything, it was a little pricey

2019-08-21 17:29:52

Fantastic Tour

Anyone who visits Vancouver should add this to their list! The tour was amazing and as our kids love hockey they loved it, but we still found it really interesting and we had such a great guide Clement. He was knowledgable in all things hockey and the arena history and specifics. A highlight was sitting in the " Expensive Seats ", the loonie under the ice story and of course the Canucks Store at the end!

2019-08-20 17:42:08

Really interesting tour, a hit with our teenagers

We had a few hours to kill in Vancouver so decided to do the Rogers Arena tour. It was a great way to spend the time. The tour lasted about an hour and took us behind the scenes at the arena. Great views of the ice from the high boxes. We knew very little about ice hockey but all keen to go to a match now!

2019-08-11 22:00:14

Tour was great!

I've been to many concerts and games here, however getting the history and seeing behind the scenes, especially the locker rooms was a cool experience!

Sorry for Blake Shelton Goers - saw more Wrestling & Dancers then Concert

Thought the Blake Shelton Concert would be the best concert ever attended... what a shocker and disappointment after paying $141.00 per seat to watch wresting & dancing. One person danced in front of me most of concert until my wife and I moved along with another couple. I then had a drink spilled on my shoulder and my wife kept getting her head bumped & we both had our seats bumped constantly. There was one fight with 5 Security guys on one guy 8' away. Before that, another fight approx. 12' away where gents were escorted out. Could have gone to a Wrestling match and Stripper joint except girl kept her closes on to experience all this. Others were just as discussed by our conversations. If I was Blake Shelton or any other entertainer that performs there I would want my concert goers to see the show with enjoyment instead of everything else. Worst uncivilized concert ever attended. That's what happens when booze and dollar signs come before the enjoyment of concert goers. So much more a to be " Romantic & Enjoyable " evening. Ugh

2019-07-25 17:20:42

Andrea Bocelli Concert

Fantastic concert in a great venue. Wonderful evening of terrific entertainment. Acoustics were awesome. All of the musicians and performers were A-1.

2016-04-22 01:08:35

great tour

Thank you very much to Maria, she is really made it a great tour. I am not a big fun of Hockey, especially this year, but she made it very interesting and fun.

2015-01-05 23:05:36

Only the team store but fun

I am a long time Canuck fan that came all the way from California, unbeknownst to me the stadium was closed but we found our way into the store on Boxing Day, we picked up a few items and everybody we ran into to recommend food and how the city was, was very personable. It was fun to see the building that my favorite team is in. Maybe next time we can take a tour.

2018-02-01 17:08:35

Top

Rogers Arena Tour

My friend and I took a tour of Rogers Arena in early August. We just so happened to go the same day a group of school children went. Our tour guide Jacqui made sure that my friend and I had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. She was very knowledgeable and after the tour gave my friend and I some recommendations and directions in Vancouver. The tour was an 1+ long, we walked through the locker rooms, VIP room, press box, and even got a look at some of the Olympic stuff from the 2010 Winter Olympics. Jacqui was great and my friend and I had a blast! Thanks Jacqui!

Rogers Arena Underground parking

This was the closest site for a review of Rogers Arena. Went to Adele concert. Parked in underground parking at Rogers Arena. There is no information on the Rogers Arena website that underground parking is $30 CASH ONLY. In these days of Apple Pay on your phone this is going back to horse and buggy days.

2016-10-31 14:06:57

Abstain from liquids

Went to NHL game here. Typical arena in many ways, seats too narrow, steep stairways, crowded. But here's what earned the terrible rating: My seats were on the 3rd level. When I went to find a bathroom, I discovered there aren't any women's restrooms on the 3rd level!! I had to do down two flights of stairs and still walk halfway around the arena to a very crowded women's restroom. Who designed this place?! I missed several minutes of the game because it took more than the whole 20 minute game break to find and use the restroom. Absolutely ridiculous. Do they think people in the cheap seats don't need to pee???? I will never return to this arena.

2015-02-17 21:37:13

esporte

2017-07-26 15:50:03

This Place is Huge and Very Well Equipped

I attended a 3-day convention with over 15, 000 attendees and sat comfortable for 8 hours each day - not a bad seat in the house. We did not make use of the vendors or machines but saw that there were plenty of each avalable throughout the buildings. Many washrooms, easily accessable which were also large and spacious. Our organization cleaned and maintained them so not sure what condition they would be found in any other time.

2019-04-06 03:45:58

2019-04-09 09:59:27

Hey, it's a stadium, what do you expect

We saw the Pink show there this past weekend. Jaw dropping, to say the least. I'm not sure who is to blame for this, but we had early access tickets, which were supposed to get us into the venue before the doors were open to the General ticket holders. There were no signs and nothing on our tickets about where this access point was and it seemed as though the Roger's Arena staff knew nothing about it. We walked all the way around to the ticketing office and they told us Gate 7. Eventually it all worked out, but I'm guessing it didn't for hundreds of early access ticket holders.

Vancouver vs Toronto Game

Went to watch the game with my dad and it was my first time seeing a game at Rogers Arena. Our seats were in section 101 row 8 behind the goal with a great view of the game. Great atmosphere as there were a large number of Toronto fans at the game and the game went into overtime. Getting out of the arena after the game was slow and crowded but the crowds moved along.

2016-03-15 15:44:07

Never a bad time at Rogers Arena!

This review is not only for " Day Tours " but there was no option for Rogers Arena as a whole. Rogers Arena is the home of the Vancouver Canucks - an NHL hockey team with a massively loyal and faithful following in BC. All home games take place here, as well as concerts for the likes of Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Madonna etc. It is situated right next to the Chinatown-Stadium skytrain station and is in downtown Vancouver, so it's very accessible on foot. If you are going there for an event, which is highly recommended, best to go on foot and not bring a car as you will be dealing with a lot of traffic and parking is generally expensive. There is a parking area near Costco (behind the arena) and it's 30 bucks. Going to a Canucks hockey game is a must-do if you're visiting or are local and just looking to have a good time. The BC Place next door also has sports games (BC Lions - football, and Whitecaps - soccer), and some people like to watch back-to-back games as it's very easy to jump from one place to another. There are tons of restaurants / bars / pubs in the area, so you can go to a game or concert and head out for a night in the town. They recently upgraded their hospitality division, plenty of food (from regular hotdogs and burgers, to gourmet hotdogs, roast beef sandwiches, lobster sandwiches, and mac & cheese) and drink options (craft beer and wine!). It's even better in level 200 and 500, VIP area (i. e. not cheap! Mostly season ticket members). But it's not a massive arena so there really is no " bad seat " in the house and can watch any event easily inside. My only gripe is the bathroom facilities: The lines tend to get VERY long, esp. for the ladies bathrooms. If you go during the break, expect long lines and likely miss the start of the next period. Go a minute or two before break starts to get ahead, same for food and drinks. There is one main team store on Level 100 and various merchandise stands across the arena. They have 50 / 50 lottery tickets, silent auction, and even a small area to take a stab at your hockey shot. You'll never get bored!

2018-11-01 18:23:22

Great Venue for a game

Saw the Canucks beat up the black Hawks at the rog. Virtanen had two goals and Guance and Rousell had the others. Great place to eat and watch the games.

2016-08-24 11:31:09

Rogers Arena

Located a short walk from the centre of Vancouver (10 min). This venue is the home of the Vancouver Canucks and numerous concerts. Great seating options, Clean facility with friendly staff. If you want to save $ on food, there are plenty options for restaurants within a short walk. Parking can be expensive but facility is accessible via skytrain which is directly across the street (stadium / chinatown station).

2017-04-14 12:10:27

A must do for hockey fans!

What a great way to see behind the scenes of the Roger's Arena. The tour guide was great, had lots of good info and stories and even too it in stride when I asked where their banners were for the Stanley Cup! We didn't get to see the Canucks dressing room as they were cleaning out their lockers, however we did get to see the tunnel where Torts and the Flames got in to it in 2014. Probably the best $12 I spent on our Vancouver trip.

World Juniors

Awesome facility and great staff. Fantastic location. Made for a great hockey experience with the family

2019-01-15 19:40:46

For those who want to experience the game and culture of Ice Hockey

When in Canada you have to go to an Ice Hockey game! Such an experience for us sports mad Aussies! Well worth the ticket price!

Wonderful concert venue

I've been to Rogers Arena twice now to see Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan. It is not such a huge arena so it is easy to be at a concert and not feel overwhelmed by masses of people. There are lots of exits, bathrooms and snacks, and souvenir vendors. It is close to sky train stations and bus lines. There is parking in the area but I take a bus there so I don't have to wait in the parking lot to leave with 5000 other cars.

2017-03-13 16:01:24

Booked a tour of Roger's Arena

Definitely recommend anyone to do this! We got to see the whole behind the scenes of the Roger's Arena, no dressing rooms, but the experience of seeing where the G. M. sits scratch players sit. We saw fine dining at a cost! We sat in leather reclining chairs with a great view of the ice. We had a great time. Go to the Canucks fan page to book. So glad we did!

My Team

I've been lucky enough to have friends with seasons tickets, and i get to go a few times a year. The last game i got to go to was in the Encore Suite. This place is awesome! It's a huge area with buffets set up all over the place. Everything from prime rib, sushi, seafood, salads, cheeses, etc. all included. You just have to pay for the drinks, which are a bit pricey, but just like any other sporting event. For example, pints of stella $13, rum and coke $12.50, pint of red truck lager $14, bottle of roots cab / mer $51. You get the picture. Just don't be shocked when you get your bill and it's a couple hundred bucks. You get a seat pretty high up but all the seats at Rogers arena are pretty good. Games are fun. Atmosphere is electric. The mood can vary depending on the score. Overall, it's a great experience.

Heavy Metal :)

First ever game

This was awesome. Such friendly staff that were a great help. Awesome views from all areas. Beers are expensive but the atmosphere was great. Such a fantastic experience for all tourists that want to experience Canada. It is an easy walk from down town. Take Robson st and it is easy

Lots of fun hockey history

Great tour of arena areas that you wouldn't normally get to see. Tour guide was great and shared lots of fun facts about Cancuck and Olympic hockey history. He even pointed out things that were tied to Minnesota hockey for us. The staff was helpful in rebooking our tour when I figured out we had inadvertently clicked on the wrong date when ordering our tickets. You also receive a 15% discount at the arena store.
