Late dinner
Stayed in premier inn next door. Booked table for 8.30, sat down, no one came near us for 30 mins despite being relatively quiet. Each course seemed to take an age. Part of mains were missing. Microwave food at best taking 30 mins a course. Unacceptable. 10pm and still waiting for dessert
Table Table Lisburn, is now only hotel guests, not a public restaurant
Table Table Lisburn was an ideal restaurant easy to get to and had a good menu, unfortunately lately Premier Inn decided to change the restaurant to only hotel guests. This has left a gap in the local area. I've been a customer of table table for almost 10 years. Even before they moved to Lisburn. I used TableTabe in other locations, but now we have nothing as there are no other Premier Inn Table Table in Northern Ireland. A disaster for the locals
28 / 05 / 24 - Good service but very poor atmosphere - ere
Went here recently as a family of 4 Our waiter was very friendly and they were able to explain the menu correctly to us. Unfortunately our meal was disturbed by foul mouthed language (We had 2 young ears listening) and unprofessional behaviour coming from the direction of the Kitchen. Our waiter was clearly embarrassed but they were able to maintain professionlism despite the other goings on. On the upside the desserts were excellent.
Great little restaurant
Really nice good value restaurant. Staff are lovely and friendly as you'd expect in NI. Inona deserves a special mention for her kindness and coffee machine instruction. 😃

We use the Linen House Table Table at least once a week. The food is great and very reasonable. The staff are very efficient and friendly especially Iwona
Family dinner embedded with witty repartee
Out with family before taking in a film. Fantastic range of both menu choices and prices. Our waiter Pat made the evening for us with his witty repartee. He could not have been more attentive and everything was perfect. I would highly recommend this venue for couples, family, small children and business dinners. With the current cost of living crisis they have a very affordable early menu and portion size is the same as full cost options
Needs a complete refurb
The restaurant is looking so tired. Furniture is way past its sell by date. Staff are nice however seems to be very short staffed. Food is average at best but I guess you know what to expect. Has great potential in the area. Needs to be given the love that the hotel section has recently been given.
Considering the poor remarks, I felt the visit was exceptional
A group of nine went for dinner, three couples and three singles. Servicewas excellent, staff orgainised a larger table for us, we order drinks which arrivedwitin a few minutes, once we ordered dinner which was excellent. Di news arrived with in 15 mins, delicious.

Superb breakfast and great service from Iwona. Have used this restaurant many times. Good value and fast, efficient service.
Family meal
Always please with the food and especially the first class service on this occasion from " Alex " A regular visitor to Table Table have always had never to find fault with the complete experience. My wife and I like the surroundings and feel comfortable and relaxed and always enjoy a drink after our meal. Beautiful food
Amazing food, was extremely well looked after by Alex :) will be going again. Kids loved their dinner. Kids had mash and chicken. Adults had haddock :) gorgeous.
Fab breakfast, great service
Absolutely brilliant breakfast, with lots of choice. Great service from both Iwona and Pat. Highly recommended whether you are staying at the adjacent premier Inn or elsewhere nearby.

Business lunch
Brought my work colleague for a lunch meeting, we chose the two meals for £11.49 which is amazing value we both had the Guinness zero to drink, food and service was first class, I had the lasagne which was bubbling hot and tasted great my friend has the chicken tikka which was according to his ward's awesome and we shared a side of chips which were hit and crisp, we will both be back as this place is a great place to eat

We called in for breakfast as we knew the standards are fairly high at premier Inn, But were we in for a surprise, This place is absolutely immaculate, The standard of the fit and finish is only out done by the cleanliness, I have never been a cleaner restaurant, you could have a wedding reception there it is so smart, I know u can't go wrong with breakfasts, believe me u can go wrong but not here, there was 1 girl on duty I think she was called Iwona, she was so professional and friendly but not in a sickly way, we will definitely be returning for great breakfasts at terrific prices, Thankyou👋
Very poor
Worst steaks we have ever had. Asked for one medium and one well done. Both were almost raw. When I reported it I was told they would speak to the chef. I doubt it was a chef that cooked them. Then went for breakfast and there was no white bread

The staff are very helpful, friendly and totally customer focused, nothing is too much for them, DIANE the waitress is amazing always a smile and can't do enough to make your experience more than pleasant. The food is always of a high standard and comes out well presented and piping hot. There is also a great drinks choice and we would definitely recommend the cocktails. Definitely worth a visit! The best value for money lunch two main meals for about £12. The food is very good also the service is excellent. Inona who served us was very pleasant and attentive. Would recommend
Rude and Jobworth staff
Turned up here yesterday, we visit quite a lot recently and never had a problem, we were ignored for about 5 minutes, when the waitress finally came over, asked if we booked and we said no, she said not excepting walk ins and walked away…very rude. Restaurant wasn't busy, plenty of tables and there was only 4 of us. So went outside and went online and we could book a table for 10 minutes time as that was the next slot…needless to say we didn't and went elsewhere!

Called for dinner, service was excellent, discrete, friendly and quick. Food was very good, highly recommend the grill, sirloin cooked exactly to order and not how the chef thinks it should be served which was great, the smothered chicken was juicy and full of flavour. The portions were generous and offered great value for money, we will call again.

Two for one dining Mon-Fri, 12-6pm
Warm comfortable surroundings with good value menu and quick pleasant service from Diane. The restaurant is part of the premier inn hotel and I think I would like to stay there going by this experience
Not accommodating and cold food
My family and I decided to go for lunch and avail of the 2 for £11.99 deal as a treat after Christmas shopping. I am a vegetarian and asked for the only option available on the deal (cheese and onion pie) unfortunately this was not available so I asked the server what other options were available. He returned to advise there were no other vegetarian options in this lunch deal and that I'd have to pick something else from the other menus. I found this really disheartening as there is only one option for vegetarians on this menu and multiple meat dishes even though they state they are vegetarian friendly. I asked the server why no other options would be available on this deal and he could only apologise. I would have thought if they can't provide one vegetarian option because the meal is not available they they should at least offer something else! I ordered the vegan burger, it came out along with my partners food but the burger was cold in the middle and had to be sent back, by the time the replacement came out my partner had nearly finished his food! I'm not only disappointed that the manager would not accommodate another vegetarian option but to then have cold food served after this was hugely disappointing.
Warm welcome and great staff
Friendly staff, nice food what else do you need. The choice of beers was good and they have hop house 13 which you can't get in England anymore, sadly. Recommend the sirloin steak 👍🏼

A most enjoyable meal at Linen House, Lisburn
The restaurant was warm and inviting. Staff were friendly and within a short time directed us to our table. Our waitress Diane was most attentive, friendly and helpful when taking our Order. We did not have a long wait until our food arrived. Diane returned to check that we were happy with our meal. We highly commend Diane for how she looked after us in The food was warm and delicious. Our meal exceeded our expectations. We will return soon.

Great value, very good service. Lunchtime special very tasty. 2 mains for £11. Inona looked after us very nicely. Good parking and near sprucefield shopping.
Great Christmas fayre
Had a great dinner here with my husband and granddaughter food great our server Diane was professional warm and friendly and using the reward card we got two free deserts great evening and the mock tail Berry Christmas was gorgeous.

Diane, made the overall experience better
Diane, our waitress / host was fantastic! Articulate, generous and kind also very efficient. We went for breakfast on my husbands birthday, with our two girls and we all thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Food was good too. Price was unbeatable. Thank you.
Excellent Service and Food, topped off with a smile
This is a great spot for lunch. Food is very reasonable, of excellent quality and great portions for two hungry men! To top that off, we had friendly and very hospitable service through the lovely Emma. Would highly recommend! (By the way, the Haddock and Chips is a must!)

Good this visit
Been a few times. Last time was average but this visit was fine. Monday not so packed. Starter of prawn cocktail was very good. I ordered the grill platter. Consists of small steak, gammon steak, egg, chicken, chips, coleslaw, bbq sauce, onion rings. Was fair, though rings were overdone. Staff are always great here and make the difference. Recommended. Prices fair.
Friendly enough, with quick service
The whole of Lisburn seemed to be closed on a Monday night so we ended up here, next to the Premier Inn on the edge of the town. Nothing special but perfectly OK. It felt a little tired and the table was decidedly sticky. The staff were efficient and polite.
Gem in Lisburn
We had fish and chips with mushy peas and tartare sauce. The fish was huge. Beautifully cooked. Profiteroles were delicious. Staff were fantastic and lovely ambience. Def recommend. 😊
Amazing experience and company
We spent the week from Sunday to Friday. Food and drink were absolutely amazing. Olivia our host was absolutely amazing. Bubbly, smiling and always happy. I cannot fault this pub at all and made our week here really pleasurable. Thank you to all the team for being awesome.
Good Lunch
Called into the Linen House Lisburn for Lunch on 22nd June 2023. Was greeted and seated by Diane. Food & drink order taken - made to feel very welcome. Drinks served promptly / lunch served shortly after. Hot day / cool beer. The Haddock and chips were excellent. Diane checked to see if everything was ok with our food and drinks - she was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent - well cooked and hot. Diane was excellent her service was second to none. As well as looking after my wife and I she was looking after other customers and providing them with the same high level of service - Well done Diane ! Well worth the visit. Will visit again soon.

Not the best
I've eaten here before, a few years back and the place hasn't changed at all. Staff are great, friendly and helpful but the food is just big standard pub grub. A lot of people love this type of food and I've nothing agains mr them at all but it just didn't do anything for me. I went for 3 course. Started with the mushrooms which were good and hot. For main I had the chicken and ribs combo (this is why I gave poor rating) the ribs were like warm at best, although tasty and the chicken was tasteless. No taste to the chicken at all. For pudding I had the apple crumble which was great and piping hot. Also hats off to the staff member who gave me extra custard!! The Guinness was great but I wouldn't rush back here to eat the food again in a hurry. Probably an ideal place for families looking for a cheap meal with kids.

Had a stunning carvery here today. First time I have visited. Apologies for not getting our lovely waitress's / Manager name, but service was superb. Guinness was amazing!! James was brilliant, very funny. Staff a great asset. Will be back.. thank you.
Family lunch
We came for lunch as part of a large group, 10 of us in total. All the food was lovely. We had 3 different waitresses serving us and all were friendly. There was a mix up with desserts but was easily rectified without hassle. Will definitely come again!

COVID Restrictions
I have eaten and had a few beers quite a few times. With the current vivid restrictions the staff are doing very well. Tonight's meal was very tasty, the beers are still currently going down. The staff are doing a fantastic job in a hard time.
Lunchtime calm in comfortable surroundings
I called for a quick lunch around mid-day and was seated promptly. Comfortable chairs, well-padded, and decor appropriate for a " hotel " dining room. My soft drink was delivered quickly - and my order was taken fairly promptly (when I " attracted " a waiter's attention). The restaurant filled up quickly - possibly due to a current special offer for lunch (contained in a local " flyer "). I ordered one of the specials - fish, chips and garden peas. (Two for £8.99). This was served within fifteen minutes and was quite tasty - although the fish was slightly undercooked (soft). The friendly waiter asked once if everything was ok. (not intrusively). The quiet atmosphere was enhanced by soft classical background music. There was no one available when I went to pay my bill (at the bar). After waiting for about ten minutes - I attracted the attention of a waitress - who efficiently processed same. Prices reasonable. Recommended.

Good enough for the price!👍🏻 £15 pp for 2 course festive menu but hey ho it was grand. Chips were cold and overcooked and gravy was cold but other than that great. Dessert - baileys profiteroles wereunusual in that they were cold but nice.... and edible!
Great service and food at linen house
Me and my partner fully enjoyed our meals at linen house. We came for lunch for 2 for 8.99 meals where james served us. He was polite and friendly and guided us to our seating. He was very helpful and gave us fast service. Anything we needed he was sure there to help us. We came the next day for breakfast and james served us again He was very help guiding us with where tea and coffee was and told us to help ourselves to whatever we wanted. Food was spot on. Customer service is even more appealing here. Made our stay in ireland very satisfying we would definitely visit again if we came back to ireland. Thanks James.

This is one of my favourite restaurants. The staff are so friendly and very helpful. The food is good and there's always a huge variety. Very relaxing environment.

Family evening out
Food is highly recommended, good choice, tasty and very reasonably priced. However, when it comes to drinks I would say definitely avoid the Pitchers, 75% soda water 20% ice!!!! Put a bit of a downer on the evening for my wife and I. Most expensive soda water I have had!!!

Good meal
Came here during an overnight stay at the Premier Inn having been here a few months back. Food was good and hot and at a good price. The apple crumble was unreal seriously very good.
Meal for one - decent grub
Visited here during a night at the premier inn for a business trip. I had breaded mushrooms to start which were piping hot and very nice. Bit disappointed with the BBQ dip, I would've thought a garlic dip would have been better. For main I had the 10oz rib eye with a jacket potato and a side order of green veg. There was a lot of food so I felt nice and full after it. The steak was very nice in places but then very chewy in other places. As a meal I would rate it 7 / 10. It was cooked medium rare and it was ideally cooked. For desert I had the cadburys sundae which was amazing. Lacking brownies as it was advertised but still it was very good. Staff were very friendly and efficient so no complaints at all there. Ideal if your staying at the premier but personally I wouldn't drive out of my way to come here.
Yum Yum!!
We were staying in the Premier Inn next door and went in for the convenience. We went in and were able to get a table straight away. The food came out really quickly and it was really tasty. I would recommend the chicken liver pate! The staff were friendly and willing to help. Big than you to Ian who had a good laugh with us on our first night eating there. Really great to have people who have a sense of humour and willing to have a laugh with you. I'd recommend the ice cream to anyone who likes ice-cream. They were really tasty!!!
Nice sausages wrong orders
There were 7 of us in our family group who booked for a breakfast. It was £8.90 for all you can eat with the kids eating free. We were greeted by a nice waiter who seated us at a large table at the back of the restaurant. He told us to help our self's to the continental selection and drinks and he would return to get our cooked breakfast order. 15 minutes later he had not returned so I went to fetch him. He took all of our orders and we didn't have to wait long ng for the hot food to arrive. The problem was not one of the cooked orders was correct. Every plate was missing some thing and also the portion size was small. I wouldn't recommend if your in a hurray and not worth the money.
Food here is very poor
Hi ate here just before new years and the place looked lovely, clean and cosy with great staff. However food was deep fried in what must be oldest oil imaginable. Was greasy, burnt and disgusting. Wouldn't bother with food : (same really as the Hotel is very nice looking though I took a photo of food will upload it :)
One staff member can ruin a business
I've worked in a customer service roll before, we all have our off days. Then again some people are just arrogant, nasty and overwhelmed by their own self importance. On three occasions I've been here and three times one staff member has stood out as a complete waste of space. First time I popped in for a drink with my colleague. Stood at the bar I was served by a lovely polite woman, while waiting for our drinks I witnessed a man (who I was later informed was the manager) being degrading and rude to a young girl server. She seemed upset and he seemed happy at bad mouthing someone who wouldn't talk back. This left a bitter taste. He floated around the bar for a while which is near where we sat s we had a good view. Perhaps if he spent as much time improving his manager skills as he did flirting and staring at the back side of a young pretty manager who was about 18 then he might be more useful at his job. Second time I came for a meal. Greeted by a lovely younger manager with curly tied back hair she couldn't have been a more genuine person. Lovely to talk to, informative and funny. Everything was going so well, food was nice and served quickly then I noticed him. The good old manager who stalked around the restaurant in what looked like a bad mood and from the way he was talking to staff seemed to be criticising everything he could. Just Before we were leaving it got very busy, as always everyone walks in together. The staff were working really well to deal with the influx of people but obviously one more pair of hands would have been useful? Then he appeared, Took a look around then disappeared again. Facebook was probably requiring his attention. Our final visit we arrived in a large group. table was booked for 8.15pm and the restaurant was clearly over seated. Didnt get a table till nine and it was in the bar. Staff were polite and apologetic but considering how badly this was going you would expect a manager to come speak to us, maybe offer a round of drinks given the mix up? Well I saw the good olde manager again and he clearly didn't feel like doing his job. I was waiting to see him so I could speak to him but he continued to hide. So with a restaurant at more than capacity and i group of annoyed diners. it seemed perfectly acceptable to him to leave everyone else to do his job. Pathetic. While leaving I asked a member of staff who the manager was as I wouldn't want this review being mistaken for another male employee, its Craig.
Never Again
Popped in for a wee quick bite of lunch ! Well never again 1. wine glass still had lipstick marks on it 2 My partner's burger which was specifically ordered without salad and dressing came to the table with everything on it !! 3 My daughter's lasagna came to the table without and mince in it !!! 4 My mixed grill was missing the described onion rings and was cold !!!! All in all never again not even for a drink the disabled toilet was disgusting smell and cleanliness !!!! So never again ever !!!
will never go back to book anything
i went for a meal to try it out. i was set at a table right beside the front door. it was like market day with people in and out and a cold draft. i asked to be moved. they did so. service was good and the meal was what you'd expect for the price and still good enough for me to book christmas dinner for the family.... booked christmas dinner for 9 people. rang back to request a menu and was told they had no details of my booking at all!!!!!!!!!!!.. you ring and are put onto someone else who in turn puts you onto someone else. when ringing back you get another girl. the manager had no idea what we where talking about!...complete incompetance!... never again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
The restaurant: how many chances do you give a place like this...
Third meal there in 18 months and there won't be a fourth. We have had two lunches and one dinner here in the past and I just do not know why they are not getting it right. The ambience is lovely, really warm and inviting, but the food... it is consistently poor quality. Chicken nuggets are crumbed pieces of breast meat... or supposed to be. Our kids had four pieces of crumbed rubber each which frankly worried me because they looked as though posed a choking hazard. The kids ate their chips instead. The chilli con carne - if a restaurant cannot supply a portion of guacamole and sour cream together with this meal then they should not bother offering chilli at all, the accompanying corn chips were microwaved and stale. Drinks - two cokes, one orange and one cider - took 25 minutes to arrive... in a restaurant that was barely half full. No we did not complain - we just wont be back. Something is wrong in the kitchen but the problem is not being addressed. Very disappointing.
Service " what service "
Simple dont go! service is terrible, we were seated and forgot about for 25 minutes, and when we finally got the food it was for another table.
Table table too much time at the table!
Didn't stay in the premier inn so unfair to rate the inn BUT has to be the worst restaurant around. Agreed to meet friends for breakfast and we were early for them. We sat at a table for half an hour and no one came near us, didn't ask who we were, what we would like, nothing and when our friends arrived one of them went to find a staff member to be told breakfast had finished half an hour previously and there would be nothing to eat for another hour and a half. Shame it is beside a premier inn.

Called into on Sunday 20th May around 17.00. Outside is a absolute disgrace, what has happened this place?? Entered the restaurant and waited 6 minutes for a member of staff to greet us. The place looked dirty and lacked maintenance. A very unhappy member of staff asked us if we had booked a table... bare in mind that there was hardly anyone there. We said we had not booked and we needed a table for 4. She looked at us as if we where dirt before telling us we would have to wait 20 minutes to be seated. WHAT!!! there was loads of empty tables. Ignorant member of staff who simply did not want to know. We told her that was no good and left. She made no attempt to stop us. I would never recommend this place to anyone as it is at the minute. I will be contacting the manager regarding my experience as well SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE... RUN DOWN RESTAURANT... SHORT STAFFED..
christmas dinner outing
lisburn lds chuch outing friday nov 30th. party of 19. £15. per person. we arrived at 650pm for 7pm start. staff friendly enough. clearly under pressure. very slow all evening. didnt get away till 1030pm. starters. mediocre. mains poor. deserts ok. reminds you of food being microwaved. needs to improve big time. not a place to rush back to. avoid like the plague.
WHAT A GREAT SHAME
My wife and i have stayed at this premier many times and have really enjoyed the rooms and the lovely bar area so it was an ideal choice to meet up for drinks on a Monday 22nd oct 2012 evening in the bar area-what a mistake! The bar staff were just about the worst i have ever come across, rude lazy, and with no customer skills at all - i was so embarresd in front of my friends. At 11 pm the server SHOUTED last orders and when i requested a coffee and a bottled water she informed me that machine had been cleaned and switched off so too bad. She ROARED at three other gentlemen that if the were not residents they would have to leave now!!! Certainley not a reception to remember and the problem is i have booked twice in the future to stay and i cannot cancel as the rates are non refundable. What an awful pity as the hotel staff are great and begs the question is the management the same or is the bar and hotel two different identities. If this the case then something maor must change as the hotel really does reley on the professionlism of ALL concerned. Hoping for change
I will never eat at this hotels restuartant again
My husband and myself recommed to my parents that we should try eating at this restuarant as a night out. We arrived at the Premier Inn Resturant (the Linen Room) and from the start to finish it was a disaster. While waiting for five minutes for someone to come seat us at a table I found myself stuck in place to the carpet by a huge big piece of chewing gum. When the hostes did come she had to go and check for a table even though the place was half empty. We were seated and told our waitess name and that she should be with us very soon. When she arrived we asked for half a guiness, two cokes from the bottle not the pump and my father asked if the pub did Bass pints and was told no they did not. Ten minutes our drinks arrived as a whole pint of guiness, two cokes from the pump and my husband looked himself at the bar and found that they did do Bass. Not a good sign that the waitess does not know what the bar holds. The starters arrived 15 minutes later. My fathers chicken skewers were like rubber. Mums wheaten bread along with her soup turned out to be half a loaf. No one explained that there was no wheaten. My husband had ribs and chicken combo and as soon as he ate them he spent the rest of the meal in the gents being sick. When he felt better he ordered waffles and again he was in the gents. We then waited for our waitess to return and as us if we want our bill but she must of gone into hideing and never returned. we went to the till and paid at the bar. On leaving I asked a waitress if the waffles contained nuts, she did not think so but went to check after 10 minutes she still did not know and was looking for the manager to find out. we ended up leaving without finding out. Would not eat here again.
Poor meal
My husband and I had a meal at Premier Inn on Saturday night which I would say as pub grub goes was poor. We are not big eaters but my husbands meal wasn't much more than a child's portion, he was finished halfway through my own meal of tasteless pasta. We opted for a dessert for two people, a choice of 3 portions from the sweet menu, Cheesecake, Belgium waffle & Eton Mess. There was ample Eton Mess but a slither of cheesecake and a tiny end of the waffle, hardly a mouthful each and a small ramekin dish filled with cream which was not whipped. Altogether, a poor effort for a meal.

Following an event in the City, a group of us were looking for somewhere to go for drinks and a bite to eat. The only place that I could think of that would be open in the evening was the Premier Inn, so I invited 6 friends to meet us there - BIG MISTAKE! When we arrived, we quickly found a table as the place was quite empty but, after waiting for about 5 minutes, one of the group went to find a member of staff to take our order. A waiter then came over to the table and we all ordered drinks while a couple of the group were still deciding what food they wanted to order. The waiter was friendly and chatty, although he, and other waiting staff, appeared to be having difficulty finding tables as we saw a couple of them walking around the restaurant with trays of drinks, and they passed our table at least 3 times. About 10 minutes later, a waiter arrived with 2 cold drinks and said that the rest of the order was on its way. After another 10 minutes and the two drinks had been consumed, another of our group went to find a waiter to ask where the rest of our drinks were. The waiter was surprised that we had not been served and said he would check this out. Another 15 minutes passed and still no drinks, so yet another member of our group went to find a waiter to ask where the drinks were, again he was told the drinks were on their way. In total, we all sat for nearly one hour before we finally gave up and left. The only 2, out of the group of 7, that actually got served, went up to pay for their drinks but were told they wouldn't be charged, and the waiter did apologise to them for the delays. While this was some compensation to the 2 people who did actually get served, it did nothing to appease the other 5 who wasted an hour of our time and never got served. How hard can it be to pour a glass of wine or cup of coffee? We were all just grateful that we never got the chance to order food or we might have been waiting yet! This was the first time that 5 of the group had ever been to Table Table, and none of them now have any intention of ever returning. Two of us had been there before a few years ago when the service for food was incredibly slow, but we had hoped it had improved - it hadn't. Needless to say, it will be a very long time before we return to this restaurant - if ever. Such a shame, as this restaurant lets the Premier Inn chain down badly - we haven't had any such experience over in GB.
A series of unfortunate events!
A series of unfortunate events sums it up. Arrived at 7:30 for a pre-ordered meal. Time Table from arrival at 7:30PM as follows :- 7:30 Seated and drinks order taken 8:15 Drinks Arrived (Boy was I thirsty!) 8:30 Complained that we had waited 1 hour for starters 8:35 Starter arrives (Along with a human hair!) 9:30 Main course arrives 10:30 Sweet arrives In addition, they ran out of pre-ordered sweet. They did not have 2 of the wines we wanted to order. They also delivered glass Shiraz instead of the Merlot which was ordered. We only discovered this deception when we tried to order a bottle of the " Merlot " ! Elevator was out of order. It was clear that the waiting staff were rushed off their feet. Luckily, we were having a great chat at our table, so to be honest the waiting time was not too big an issue for us. But if I had been hungry, and perhaps had children with me - I would have been furious. On the plus side (and there is a plus), the staff were very friendly and helpful. They apologised immediately for the delay. I can also say that I really enjoyed the food (when it finally arrived!). Also you couldn't complain about the price. It's hard pin-point what is at the core of this hotel's problems. But I have heard a number of people complain about the poor service levels in the restaurant. From what I saw, I don't think it would take much to solve the issues, but feel that more EXPERIENCED waiting staff and a bit more attention to detail would probably go a long way to solving it.

Live in Lisburn, this hotel has been a regular to our family, we called today for a drink really noticed how unkempt, this hotel has became, tables not clean not a clean smell, sticky chairs, outside is a disgrace tables and chairs falling apart, for the only hotel in Lisburn it not a good look for city,
Bad serice at restuarant
We stayed one night on a business trip and went to the restaurant for dinner. We were ignored for twenty minutes until we asked for service. Waitress was unfriendly and rude. The other waiter had some smart comments to make when we asked for service. Food took ages to arrive and when all courses served we were ignored again until we went to bar to ask for the bill. Next morning at breakfast it took 35 minutes for someone to take my order and get my breakfast. I was unable to use the shower as the main tap was too tight to use and couldn't get hold of reception. I will not be staying at this establishment again
Abysmal standards and customer service
On 28th July my partner and I decided to try the newest eating establishment in Lisburn. Having heard good things about the Linen House @ Premier Inn we were looking forward to it. When we arrived we mistakenly went into the hotel reception and asked the receptionist how to get to the restaurant. She got up from behind the desk and escorted us into the restaurant and despite there being free tables dotted around she sat us down at table 31 which is right beside the kitchen doors. As we could see they were busy we took the table and looked at the menu. Our order was taken quicky and our drinks arrived promptly. After about ten minutes our starter arrived which was as described on the menu. What then followed was a 40 minute wait for our main course and a display something akin to an episode of Fawlty Towers. We asked twice how long our main courses would be to be told our food was due next only to see other meals coming from the kitchen. But what followed next was beyond belief. One of the staff went past us with two plates of food on a tray heading back into the kitchen. he kicked open the door and screamed " Chef can I get two clean plates as those two bas**rds on 23 " the kitchen door closed before the sentence was finished but I could not believe my ears. I have 20 years experience in this industry and I am certainly no stranger to the odd profanity but to see it done within clear earshot of guests in totally and utterly unacceptable. We got up and left our table and I went to reception to complain. The same receptionist then insisted that she was the most senior member of staff on duty in the hotel at that time despite me asking for the duty manager or someone in authority. Eventually after demanding to speak to someone other than her did we get to speak to the Operations Manager who listened to our complaint. We left afyer speaking to him and headed home and about two days later received a letter of apology from the General Manager which invited us back to the restaurant for a complimentary visit. We decided today to avail of this offer and what a farce that turned out to be. We were met at the door by the restaurant manager who was aware of our previous experience. She escorted us to a table which was not properly set and assured us she would get us cutlery immediately. We looked at the menu and made our choices. When she reutrned with our drinks my partner placed our order while i went to the bathroom. When I returned we sat talking for about 10 minutes and the our starters arrived. I was amazed that a member of waiting staff could set down a shared starter with two plates and miss the fact that there was no cutlery. We sat back in our seats and tried to catch someones attention but to no avail. The manner in which we were sitting back in our chairs whilst there was untouched food and drinks on the table would have suggested all was not well but no one paid any heed. We got up and walked out of the restaurant and again went to reception to voice our concerns. All we received was a half hearted attempt to placate us which is not what customer service is about. The management of this establishment need to train their staff on the very basics of restaurant service and ettiqutte - 1. Do not swear or insult guests. 2. Do not seat guests at tables which are not ready for service. 3. Treat previous complaints with exemplary service. I told the Duty Manager today that if the girl in charge of the restaurant during both our visits worked for me she would be looking for another job. Her failure to adequately supervise her staff and her inability to see simple, glaring errors is appalling. We will never be back again which is a great pity as the location is excellent, the property looks fresh and inviting and the food and drinks are reasonably priced. What they need to sort out extremely quickly is training their staff in the basic do's and dont's of service.
Not good, Disappointed
I don't have massively high expectations of this restaurant, it is what it is / pay for what you get etc etc. However we did used to come here on occasions for a last minute meal. And it was always OK. Hadn't been in quite a while, and hadn't heard anyone talk about it either, so when the new flyer came through the door advertising a new menu, and giving us 40% main meals, we thought.... sure why not? We visited on Friday 15th March, and arrived about 5, 40pm. Therestaurant was not busy. We ordered. It took a very long time to get our starter. I noticed other people sitting around waiting as well. I also overheard the waitress tell a few tables that they had run out of various items, for example there was no Tartare sauce, and some main meal options were not available. Odd, I thought, at this time on a Friday evening when I imagine if you owned a restaurant you would be hoping it was about to get busy.... surely you would be fully stocked? The starters were poor. My HB had chicken wings. The teeniest tiniest chicken wings we ever saw! I had Mozzarella chilli bites, which were on a gloopy stodgy sauce. Another very long wait ensued for Main course. My HB ordered battered fish and chips, knowing that tartare sauce was not available he asked for Tomato sauce, which never arrived. The batter was so overdone it was as hard as the road, so he did not eat it. I ordered Lasagne, nothing special. I also ordered Halloumi fries, which also never arrived. Interestingly, the disinterested girl who took our money at the end did not even ask " Was every thing Ok for you " No. She probable knew better than ask that question. Very disappointed. If the restaurant were trying to rejuvenate with a new menu and offers, then they need to up their game reading quality of food and service.
" What Service? "
Took my family (9 of us) for Sunday lunch in February. When the food arrived it was best described as bland. Problem was that we have to wait for one hour twenty minutes after we had ordered. the main course I know they were busy, but when you book a table for 1-15pm and you're still waiting to be served at 3pm I think it's a little too much. When I pointed out to a waiter that a couple beside us had come in, had their main course and were leaving again he just ignored me. We'll never be back, and we're telling everyone we know the same thing
Not quick lunch!
I went to the restaurant for a quick lunch with friend. order drinks and food. my glass was dirty (lipstick stain) so we asked to change it, next one arrived with dry orange bits left from previous user, next glass was orange bits one only it was washed and soaking wet!!!!! food arrived after 35minutes and starter with main!table beside ordered food 15later than me and got them food before i did. ravioli tasted like heinz tin food, Will never go back again!!!
Breakfast at Table Table
At Breakfast the plates for toast were often dirty - obviously the dishwasher was not working properly. This put the kids of their food. Also a number of people came down to breakfast in their pyjamas (adults as well as kids!') This also put me off my food. I think there should be a rule that everyone must dress for breakfast!.
Even with discount vouchers it is not worth eating here
Firstly the entrance could be better organized. It appears most people enter the main door by stepping over the shrub beds onto the paved entrance. The decor needs redone. The furnishings were grubby and would require a good deep clean. The food, well, I ordered Ham & Pineapple & my friend ordered potatoes cheese & bacon with a sour cream dip. Mine arrived with no pineapple & the tomatoes were hard & quite greasy. The other meal arrived with no dip. This was pointed out to the waitress who said that she would attend to the matter. She never appeared again. So I think that we will do the same !!!!
Its like they want bad reviews
Sticky tables! Sticky menus! Watching staff reset tables using unused cutlery left over from previous dinners.. should a have been our que to leave. Food was awful. However the staff member, James was polite and welcoming but when i complained about the food my opinion of him changed. Instead of tryjng to rectify the problem he simply agreed with us that the food is not good and give us a TripAdvisor card to write our experience on here... making sure to write his name on top. I did witness him handing these cards out to other dinners. And going by previous reviews this is a regular occurrence. It makes me question was my complaint of the food passed on to the kitchen!! Wont be back.
never ever again
Any new eating place that opens has teething problems, we come to expect that and if you have one bad experience we chalk it up to going at the wrong time, not enough staff or one thing or another. But to keep on having one bad experience after another you have to draw a line under it and move on. my family and I have given this place more chances than anyone should, so sad to say we wont be going back.. dont get me wrong if does have some redeeming points, the staff on each occasion we have been there they have been fantastic, shame the same cant be said for the food, does anyone know if they use a different chef that cook the lunches to the ones that do the breakfasts, if so that might be their problem as anytime we have come away disappointed as been after lunch time. On our last visit when the food arrived it looked good but unfortunately that was as good as it got, so disappointed
Awful
Waited an hour to get drinks then when good came it was bland. Then waited another hour to get the bill (had to chase waiters) seriously understaffed and seemed busy even though there was only like 5 tables filled... also management rude when we complained about being there for nearly 3 hours. Definitely won't be back.
Nice premises, terrible food
Been to this restaurant a couple of times, once for someone's birthday and once with a work do. Wouldn't choose to go back. Both times the service has been a bit iffy and the food has been really poor. The vegetables were barely cooked and very bland and the rest of the food gave the impression that it was just mass-produced microwave meals delivered from some headquarters somewhere and then heated up on demand. The premises are very nice but the food is best avoided
Food is hit and miss
Have ate here a few times and its a bit confusing. Sometimes very good, other times awful. Waiting staff take too long to serve you and the food takes ages to come. Not the best place in town Im afraid.
Went with my husband for lunch
My husband had the pie and mash pototoes, the pototoes service was small with alot of string peas on, i got fish and chips, more batter than fish, had a long wait, wont be back.
What a difference
I stayed in the Premier inn in Coleraine the night before which has the same brand of restaurant attached with the same menu. You could not find totally two different restaurants. This one is dirty. looks very poorly managed. Food is rubbish. Cannot believe the standard of food allowed out off the Kitchen. Also expect to be shown a table amd then ignored.20 minutes to be asked what I wanted and then 15minutes later I had to ask where my drink was.10 minutes later it gets dumped on the table. The Restaurant (shouldnt be called that) was quiet so no excuse. Having read other reviews then I doubt whoever manages this place cares but I have no doubt it has an effect on the Premier inn. Also please don't expect to have any communication with the staff so if you want another drink then go to the bar.

I don't think I have ever been motivated to write a review whilst waiting for the bill. Service : 1 / 10 Food: 2 / 10 Atmosphere: 2 / 10 I am staying in the Premier Inn, it is raining so I decided to eat " in ".. bad idea !! Service is atrocious.. waiting 15 minutes to be seated.. restaurant is empty and no staff in evidence. When finally seated another two guys were seated 10 minutes after me, and got asked for their order first.. invisibility cloak maybe ? They too my order and then 10 minutes later told me that what I had ordered was " off " as they had a new menu that starts tomorrow.. Sorry but that's TOMORROW.. I am here today ! And you are advertising food that you have on the menu. The Garlic Mushrooms I ordered as a starter were cold.. appalling ! My new order for a main was a burger.. surely you can't get this wrong.. jeez! They can here.. raw onion, cold burger, non crispy " crispy onions ", fries that were under cooked and one step above cold Order a Guinness if you can find a waiter.. but do it early as it will take 20 minutes to arrive. This is awful, atrocious and definitely one to avoid.. go into town
Service needs to improve
I have been here several times over the years but this time the service seems lacking. It took ages to be seated. I then got ignored and after 15 minutes had to go up to the bar to order my drink and food as no one bothered to take my order at the table. No, the restaurant was not busy, no real excuse. The staff seemed to be rushing from one mishap to another with no real leadership. I was not the only casualty on the food or drink front. Watching others with incomplete meals and problems. When my food was delivered it was ok. Nothing special. When asked if I wanted anything, I asked for some sauces which never turned up. I finished my food and drink and no one asked if the meal was ok. No one asked if I wanted a refill. When I finished my main I just asked for the bill but alas it never came. I ended up going to the bar to pay but now the card machines have gone down. I stay all over the UK in Premier Inns and have eaten in hundreds of these places I am sorry to say the service here is way near the bottom. There is something wrong here. Whether it's a lack of leadership or training for the staff something needs to be looked at.
Rubbish
Food was uneatable totally burned and not fit for a dog - all four clients were disgusted with what was placed in front of us and we complained and left after a short period in this place and told the manager we would never be back
Food not good but staff excellent
the food wasn't very nice but the staff were excellent and couldn't do enough for you. Stayed a while and the same dish was served different every night. The macaroni cheese came as an block that issued had been microwaved. Very nice place and staff just needs a good chef really. Stayed at the hotel which was very good apart from the cleaning, I was there all week and my room was never vacuumed. Very good shower and comfortable room. Just the cleaning was bad. All in all an average place to stay.
Dinner
I have been here quite a few times, returning in the hope that my experiences will be better. I must say the staff are consistently incompetent! They couldn't appear any less interested in the customers. The waiting times are unacceptable from arrival until leaving. AT least one hour for main courses. Food is just acceptable, and usually luke warm to cold when it eventually arrives!
Worst Whitbread Table Table Restaurant in my view
We booked a table for five at 8 pm to celebrate one of my daughter's exam results on a Thursday. Arriving promptly at 7.55 we were shown to our seats and given menus. The server who seemed to be stretched by a couple of large groups and a full restaurant was very polite and took our drinks order as soon as he was free about another ten minutes later. Another ten minutes later he returned to take our food order and by now we were all very hungry and decided to get a sharing platter as a starter with two extra portions of buffalo wings enough for five. At the same time he took the order for our mains which was the first sign all was not well at this restaurant, when asked they had NO STEAK AND ALE PIE, NO CHILLI LINGUINE, NO RISOTTO, NO LAMB, basically half the menu. Not wanting to spoil the night we went for what was left. The server returned a few minutes later to tell us the buffalo wings for the starter had all been sold out. By now we realised the place was a disaster and rumblings of complaints could be heard from lots of other surrounding tables on the time it was taking to get their meals. At 8.30 the starter arrived without my favourite part the calamari, youv'e guessed it they had run out!! We had to ask for extra chicken to compensate for this. We then had to wait until 9.30pm, a further HOUR, to get our main meals which by all standards of Whitbread service is the worst I have ever seen and the quality and cooking left a lot to be desired. On complaining to the server he was most apologetic and couldn't have been friendlier given the pressure he was under that evening from all quarters so I want to praise him. But on asking he said no discount was available. Just wanting to get home and not spoiling my daughters big day I didn't speak to the manager but phoned Customer service a day later. As yet still waiting for an apology from the company on what was my worst restaurant experience ever. Sorry Whitbread but whoever is in charge of kitchen supplies needs more training. That evening was disgraceful. Why book a table for 8pm and wait until 9.30 to be served your mains, if they couldn't cope why take the booking in the first place. Won't be back!
Service not good enough
My wife and I have been to 'Table Table' 3 times for a meal and I have taken visitors from abroad to it. Most times the service was ok but the last time it was terrible. The restaurant was busy and staff seemed to be run off their feet. We ordered our meal and drinks and waited quite a while for our meal to arrive. When our meal arrived we hadn't yet got our drinks so I asked the waiter if we could have them. Even though he said we would have them soon they never arrived. We started our meal in the hope we would soon have drinks but they never arrived. I ate my meal constantly looking around trying to get the attention of a waiter but couldn't. In the end we finished our meal without drinks. When our bill arrived the drinks were on it. I explained to the waiter that we didn't get drinks and without apologising he said the person at the bar would take them off the bill. When I asked if we deserved an apology he rather sharply apologised and pointed out that he was very busy. Thankfully the girl at the till compensated us and made up for what happened otherwise we would not be back.
Poor food on 3 visits
Made 3 visits to give benefit of doubt. Average to poor food every visit. Service required me to keep going to them. Second visit was given cracked glass that shattered as I drank. 3rd visit chips were cold and had been sitting around. When asked was told that the kitchen was closing at 8.30pm so what did I expect. This was 8pm. Informed manager and was apologetic but for this place, 3 strikes and your out.
The Worst Restaurant Ever!!
Booked for dinner. Waited 45minutes for drinks and starters. The table Was extremely sticky, so much that the menu stuck to it! Witnessed a row between 2 staff members re our drinks! Received cold starters with no cutlery or condiments. Ordered red wine and received white. Ordered gin and tonics, the tonics we asked for were out of stock as was the gin. Instead a replacement was brought to us without prior discussion or agreement. It was assumed that we would take them. I ordered haddock which was cold and tasteless, I received Raita instead of tartare sauce. My partner had chicken burger, coleslaw was disgusting. Numerous problems with the bill. When one goes out for dinner one expects an enjoyable experience. James the ONLY waiter, seemed to be the only one working, although he did his very best, I feel that he personally was seriously let down by his colleagues. He seemed to be running the entire restaurant single handed with no help. The manager never once came to ask us if things were satisfactory. My partner was reduced to tears by the time we got home. This was our first post Covid dine in experience and we very much regret choosing this venue. The biggest waste of money, very poor food and the worst dining experience we have ever had. Will not be back ever! Absolutely awful! I have rated 1 star because unfortunately a zero star rating is not possible!!
Restaurant a big let down
While in lisburn shopping decided to call into the table table restaurant which is part of the premiere inn. Arrived at about 4.45 and was seated at a table. We asked for a high chair and the one we got was broken so we asked for another which seemed to be a bit of an inconvenience to what looked to be the manager. We sat on for a further 20 mins and no one came near us so not even to ask if we wanted a drink so I went to the bar to order drinks and see if i could order food, the helpful bar man told me someone should be down soon to take our order. We sat for another 10 mins and then I asked the restaurant manger if I could order food at this point the restaurant manager told me in the most abrupt way that he was busy and like everyone else he would get to us when he had time. He was so bloody ignorant that I phoned the local chinese and left the premises immediately. I will never set foot back in this restaurant and the restaurant manager is an embarrassment to the premier inn brand.
Bad service & attitude
Restaurant terrible. Went for a celebration dinner that turned into a shambles. Table that was allocated was not the one that had been promised. Starters that were ordered was not the ones brought to the table. When server was informed said that they were out of the ones ordered & would they do instead!!!!! Mains & desserts ok. When bill arrived starters still on the bill even though we sent them back. When pointed out staff unapologetic & didn't care. Will never go this hotel again.

A group of 6 ate here a few weeks ago and i must say that the food was so good wouldn't have any complaints. Covid rules were adhered to which was good to see. Can't remeber who the host was but want to thank him (he wore glasses and a black shirt) he was so friendly and accomadating to us such a credit to the company. The only complaint I would have would be about James (he made sure I knew his name) he was so pushy and was just too much when your in for a quiet meal it really puts you off. He needs to learn what personal space is!! I'll deffo be back just might make sure I'm sat in the right place

Please note that I write fair reviews. The Linen House was terrible. Dreadful service and the sort of food Gordon Ramsey would describe as a result of a Kitchen Nightmare. Indeed I'd pay good money to see him go there! Anyway, on a quiet Monday night, we arrived early to beat the rush. We explained that our 2 1 / 2 and 6yr old children were exhausted and we were keen to eat quickly. " No problem " was the response. I was therefore surprised and irritated to have to wait an hour to be served some nachos and a piece of garlic bread, and a further 25 mins (and two complaints) for the mains. The food itself was low standard. I expected cheap and cheerful but this was well below standard for the £10-15 price tag for a main. Service was inattentive. It was so bad we started sending our two elder kids on a game of hunt the staff...! The bill, when it arrived, was the wrong one. Thank God I checked of I'd have spent £100 on two starters, two mains and 2 kids meals! So all in all this place was terrible. The only thing raising the review to 'poor' was the fact the manager paid for our drinks and starters. I will not be going back. I'd suggest that you don't even go!
Nice chilled Sunday
Brilliant service accompanied by tasty food. Always a nice vibe and accommodating staff. Alex and Leigh always go the further mile to provide excellent service with a personal touch. Will be back again!
Dinner
I was at the premier inn last night for dinner. I never tasted anything as horrible in my life. I got gammon it came out burnt with 2 fried eggs on top and the juice of the gammon made the eggs go brown. The baked potato was absolutely horrendous cold and hard. Now the dessert omg where do I start. It was apple and BlackBerry crumble. The apple was in big chunks and the BlackBerry was like muck. The crumble was porridge oats on top. Somewhere or another I don't think I will be back.

Popped in with friends and my children for wee bite to eat. James was more than helpful. He made the kids feel as important as the adults too. His friendly light hearted manner helped make the experience all the more relaxing. Great service James which means we'll be back 👍🏻
Very Poor!
I had a meeting with a colleague this morning and used the opportunity to have some light lunch - what a disappointment. I arrived first and made for our favourite table at the window. I found the table to be full of used cups, plates etc and the table top very sticky. I moved the crockery to another table, thinking that someone would clear up and wipe the table down. No such luck so we moved to another table. We ordered the soup of the day which was tomato and two slices of wheaten bread. The soup was so watered down that it was hardly edible and the bread had clearly been around for a while. We had to ask for butter and knives. When they didn't arrive for quite some time [soup was getting cold by now] I had to go and ask another member of staff. The original server brought the butter and knives - with not a smile in sight - rather grumpy! We finished our 'meal' and meeting about hour and a half later - the dirty crockery had still not been cleared. Poor food and even worse service!! Come on folk - at least pretend you want customers to enjoy their meal and experience at least some level of service!! Very shoddy all round!
Rather stay in than good to the inn
Family meal for 13 people on Sunday. Restaurant relatively quiet for numbers. Service was poor espically from the female taken our order definitely a chip on the shoulder. Ages for even drinks to arrive food was ok but came in dribs and drabs. Kids chips were cold and had to be redone. Desserts and tea / coffee on dirty plates and cups and again overly slow. Dear help u if you had to go to the loo. It would have been cleaner going in a barn full of animals. Won't be back in a hurry. Might lose a few more years of my life waiting!!
Good food
Ate here one Wednesday evening whilst staying next door in the hotel. Good food at a reasonable price. I had the mixed grill which was cooked well and the chocolate brownie for pudding. Add on a pint of Guinness and the total was £25.57. Staff friendly and the place had a nice atmosphere. Not that busy the night I was there but sure it is at the weekend.
Evening meal
Called in with a friend early on a Saturday evening without booking. We were initially told they were fully booked but could accommodate us at the bar area, but that was immediately corrected and we got a small table in the main restaurant area. (There seemed to be plenty of empty tables throughout our stay, so not sure why we had been told that in first place). There was an extensive menu, which all looked amazing but we just had halloumi and chips & peas, and chicken and chorizo pie which was served with boiled baby potatoes and salad. There was a lengthly wait for the food. Personally the salad looked a bit wilted / past it's best and wasn't particularly crisp - as a garnish it did nothing to add to the dish. The potatoes were not dressed with butter or anything or seasoned in any way - some people like that but I would prefer some sort of dressing. We each had a soft drink and it came in at about £25 in total - there do seem to be special deals for each night of the week, so it may be worth checking those out if you are a bargain hunter. The menu promised much but the service and food itself didn't quite deliver, I wouldn't rush back.
One word: Awful!
Coffee with a friend is supposed to be a pleasurable experience. This was far from it. After browsing the dessert menu, we both ordered the mini-dessert. The photo showed it as white cheesecake with a red drizzle. When it arrived the colour was more akin to purple with a brown hue. It tasted like it had been sitting around for weeks. We duly made the staff aware of our experience. 'We can't eat this, ' I said, to which the staff member made no direct reply, but summoned another person, presumably a manager. I continued to stand and wait. At length I suggested I should perhaps return to my seat. Still no apology. At this point, I was assured the manager would be along to get it sorted. When she did arrive, the conversation went along these lines: " Are yous the ones with the cheesecake? " " That's right. " " Aye, well there's nothing else. " " Would you have anything fresh? " " Well there's nothing fresh. It's all brought in. " " Would you have even a traybake or something similar? " " You can have a packet of shortbread. " " OK, we'll take that. " As we left we were ignored and it is probably fair to say we will never be back. Appalling service.
No complaints!
We were staying in the Premier Inn next door and took advantage of their good " meal deal " I had teriyaki salmon, and a chocolate sundae both delicious. My husband was equally happy with his steak pie and fruit crumble. Breakfast next morning was excellent too, we had a full " Irish " and enjoyed it, kept us going for 9 hours! The staff were friendly and efficient -- as the title says -- no complaints.
