Un día maravilloso
Fui el 14 de febrero al hotel y la pse muy bien con mi pareja, la piscina y las habitaciones esta remodelada y limpia. El. servicio es bueno, me gusto mucho la vegetación natural del lugar, el jugo de caña es muy sabroso, mi pareja y yo disfrutamos un 14 de febrero por todo lo alto.
A little paradise
If you are tired of the buzzing streets of Trinidad - thats the place to go. Nice cabins in the woods right by the river just 1, 5km outside of town. There is everything, pool, bar, restaurant, horse riding and boat tours as well. We liked it a lot there. Staff is very nice too.
Not very friendly
Nothing to complain about the room, the airco and the shower worked properly. I guess we stayed in a quite new wooden bungalow, which was quite nice. Breakfast buffet was OK. Service at reception and in the restaurant could be better. If you would like to rest next to the pool than please avoid this place, there was on both days very loud music and some guests were even drinking and smoking in the pool.
Kids-friendly
Compared to other state owned Cuban hotels, this is ok. Stayed with a four-year-old who was thrilled with rabbits, pigeons, horses and other animals. Chalets ok and clean. Breakfast was a bit poor, maybe due to lots of hungry germans. Not in the city, so not an option if you don't have transport.
unclean, un-maintained
We (4 adults) stayed here as part of a two week holiday travelling around Cuba. We were booked in to stay for 3 nights. After arriving (looked great) and were guided to the reception, which is based also in one of the cabins, we went to find our two delux cabins that we had booked...... The first was like a Sauna! the guy taking the bags even told us that it was too hot for him. The second room was cooler as the airco was on. On closer inspection there were a multitude of things that were wrong..... Sockets off the wall and loose No toliet seat, or seat fell off no lights no bulbs windows did not open door did not close Pillow cases and sheets dirty Shower curtains also terrible the in room fridge was not clean The food was also not good in the restaurant NO hot water, they turn it off when there is a storm..... so it is not on a lot!!! Shower heads don't hang up hand rails coming off wall dirty front doors Ceiling in bathroom coming down no glass in window of bathroom Overall was really terrible. we stayed there one night and then left to a different hotel as we were so disgusted. Yes no hotel in Cuba is like that of European standard but this was terrible. On the plus side the pool complex was good and the reception area clean although freezing with Airco! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
1950s Butlins crossed with Centre Parks
We luckily only stayed here for one night on a tour around Cuba and this was the worst hotel we stayed in and the worst I have ever stayed in, and there have been some real dumps in Eastern Turkey in the 80s. It looks ok on arrival, the restaurant would not be out of place on safari in Kenya, do not be fooled the food is awful, the rooms have not been upgrade since they were built, plugs hanging off etc. The highlight however came in the morning when we discovered there was no water and hadn't been for a few days. Which is probably why the swimming pool was closed and a very strange green colour!!!
Hotel Regular
Dentro de las opciones que teníamos en el plan contratado, este fue el único hotel con alojamiento disponible en Trinidad. Nos alojamos los días 3 - 4 y 5 de abril del 2016 Es un hotel de Campo, con dos habitaciones por Cabaña, la estancia fue tranquila, los empleados muy atentos, pero en lo que respecta a infraestructura muy pobre y no tiene relación con la pobreza de Cuba, pues hemos recorrido toda la Isla y no nos encontramos con algo similar, solo falta ver la piscina con el verdín producto de la falta de atención. Realmente una pena, ya que tiene las condiciones dadas para ser un lugar hermoso. Es ideal para aquellos que alquilen auto, ya que en 5' están en pleno centro de Trinidad y a 30' de Playa Ancon
hotel compris dans notre circuit
étant en circuit nous n avons pas choisi cet hôtel, l accueil était sympa avec les danseurs mais pas a la réception, heureusement c est notre guide qui nous a pris nos clés c est pas gagné de trouver sa chambre ca va dans tout les sens et il y a beaucoup d animaux nous étions prés de la basse cour et nous étions réveillé de bonne heure car tout le monde se promène dans les allées de l hôtel par contre il n est pas bien entretenu c est dommage les chambres sont pleines de poussière et de moustiques, j ai écrasé des moustiques sur le lavabo le lendemain ils y étaient encore, sinon la literie on sent bien les ressorts, le dîner moyen et le petit déjeuner fallait arrive de bonne heure pour avoir du pain surtout après les russes, nous avons eu la désagréable surprise le dernier le bus a été bloqué car soit disant quelqu un de notre groupe avait volé une serviette je vous dis pas l état des serviettes enfin du coup ils ont demander 5cuc soit 5e a peut prêt pour que l on puisse partir j espère qu il ne faut pas cela a chaque fois car ils n ont pas voulu que l on ouvre nos valises il n y avait que l argent qui les intéressés c est pas sympa et franchement pas commerçant a éviter
Attenzione alle zanzare!!!
La camera era era carina un bungalow in legno tra le palme e qualche animale libero ma il buffet della colazione praticamente inesistente e soprattutto attenzione alle zanzare.... unico posto durante il nostro viaggio in cui ci hanno assalito!!!
Don't go to this hotel
Our first glimpse of this hotel (individual chalets) was pleasing with accommodation set out in palm tree gardens. Locating our chalet was the first hurdle. Signage was poor and when we eventually found ours, we wished we hadn't. Very dark and gloomy. Poor lighting where there were bulbs. Electrical sockets hanging from the walls and water from the shower a dribble. In fact there was very limited water anywhere the following morning. The staff were miserable and food basic. The evening entertainment was probably the best thing about our stay but it was noisy. Thankfully we only stayed one night which was more than enough.
Absolutely terrible
In a 2 week tour of Cuba, this was by far the worst " hotel " we stayed in. The individual cabins on arrival were infested with mosquitoes. Thankfully we brought a mosquito net which at least gave us a secure night's sleep. Service was virtually non existent and the food, awful. Unusable facilities including toilet facilities, pool etc were compounded by an inoperable shower. All in all a miserable experience. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in delightful Trinidad, I would suggest looking at the Casas Particulares there which are good and plentiful
Worst hotel on our tour
Individual cabins set in large grounds, we stayed here as part of a tour and were given the old wooden cabins at the far end. I can't speak for the modern brick cabins but our wooden cabin didn't smell nice, had only one light working, (maintenance man said he'd come back and mend the other light but didn't) the hot water only dribbled out and in the morning we had no water at all. Food was awful, the only things I could face were potatoes, rice, spaghetti and bread, in fact my husband had only five bread rolls for his dinner. We were unlucky in that we were delayed by a broken down tour bus in the morning for four hours and all the toilets were locked up so had to find someone with a key (very grumpy) and of course no toilet paper. On the plus side the evening entertainment was good.
A la campagne, a éviter si vous pouvez
Nous sommes tard le soir (nous étions en circuit) Pas d'éclairage dans le parc, peu d'indication pour nous diriger pour trouver notre bungalow. Bungalow assez spacieux mais sombre, beaucoup de moustiques à notre arrivée, filet d 'eau a la douche, pas d'eau dans les toilettes. Environnement agréable pour ceux qui aiment les animaux. réveil au chant du coq le matin

Vraiment dommage pour un hotel à fort potentiel avec un environnement si exceptionnel de n'avoir pas entretenus régulièrement les bungalows. Pourquoi????Un point très négatif cause moustiques sulfatage au pétrole odeurs très désagréable (Zika ?consigne santé?) pour dormir et imprégnant les habits. Encore vraiment dommage, dommage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bonito lugar con pésimo servicio
Son bungalows, bien de tamaño pero no están preparados para la lluvia (el que nos dieron estaba inundado de agua y caía encima de los cables del aire acondicionado). Nos cambiaron a otro bungalows, más pequeño, con escasa luz. El agua caliente brillaba por su ausencia, teníamos sólo un hilo de agua. La comida muy muy normalita, a la cena, se fue la luz (por la lluvia) y tuvimos que cenar a oscuras, pusieron unas linternas, del todo insuficientes. No lo recomiento.
Juste pour extérieur
En arrivant l'endroit semble charmant et calme. Mais le bungalow a très peu de luminosité. Ce n'est pas très propre et si vous voulez un petit dej. Il faut vous lever tôt. Pour info vous ne partez pas tant que la chambre n'est pas vérifiée pour cause de vol.

Hôtel en pleine nature. Extérieur bien entretenu (nous ne sommes pas allés à la piscine). En ce qui concerne les bungalows, nous avons eu un bungalow pas trop mal (eau chaude / eau froide qui fonctionnaient), mais il était infecté de moustiques. Heureusement, nous avions une moustiquaire. Comme dans la plupart des hôtels d'Etat, il n'y a pas beaucoup d'entretien. Le petit déjeuner était pas mal, mais c'est vrai qu'il faut être les premiers. Bon repas du soir (soirée " campensina ") avec un joli spectacle. Rien à dire au niveau du personnel, peut-être que le fait de parler espagnol, cela aide.

De terror, son bungalows que algunos estarán bien, el que nos dieron a nosotros lamentable. El baño sin cortina de ducha, el duchador no tenía donde colgasrse, el lavabo con bichos y cucarachas, Las camas con unos cobertores asquerosos, las almohadas sin funda, que además no pedimos, preferimos enfundarlas con nuestras camisetas, las sábanas ni hablar, dormimos vestidos y rociados con repelente de mosquitos. la comida mala. el personal correcto
A FUIR, si vous n'êtes pas piégés par un tour operator!
Nous avons été piégés par notre tour operator qui nous a obligés à passer deux nuits dans les bungalows de ce camping, de piètre qualité, ce qui n'était pas prévu au programme. A l'arrivée: accueil dans la soi-disant reception, qui relève d'un camping des années 50, tenue par un bouledogue! Chambre: heureusement que nous avions dans nos valises une bombe anti-moustiques performante, car sinon çà aurait été l'enfer! En plus d'une bombe anti-moustiques il faut aussi ne pas oublier une lampe frontale si on veut y voir clair tellement la pièce est sombre. Quand je dis sombre, c'est sombre, on n'y voit vraiment rien, impossible de lire. Certains copains chanceux ont eu des chambres un peu moins sombres. Dans tous les cas il n'y a pas de lampes de chevet. Coté matelas contrairement au reste c'est potable mais les draps sont en tissu synthétique tout bouloché: çà gratte! et l'oreiller sent " bon " les cheveux cracra. Salle de bains: la douche n'offre dans ses meilleurs moments, qu'un filet d'eau, ensuite c'est du goutte à goutte. Pour le réveil pas de problème, les coqs se chargent de vous sortir du lit dès potron minet Côté buffet: c'est franchement immangeable. Si vous trouvez un taxi fuyez et allez manger à Trinidad dans une " Casa Particular ". Ne croyez pas vous rattraper au petit déjeuner car c'est tout aussi mauvais. Ce qui porte le nom de " jus de fruit " n'est autre qu'un mauvais nectar copieusement allongé d'eau! quant au thé, il est remplacé par une fadasse infusion de camomille. Pour couronner le tout chiens et chats gambadent dans la salle de restaurant; çà se comprend car c'est tellement mauvais qu'ils se régalent des assiettes pleines qu'on leur donne. La piscine semble propre mais la proximité du ruisseau attire les insectes piqueurs. En un mot, si vous le pouvez, fuyez cet hôtel. Sinon ne pas oublier: bombe anti-moustiques, lampe frontale, thé et provisions si vous hésitez à aller manger à Trinidad.
À éviter, très sale
Si vous avez le choix, évitez cet endroit, autant pour le service que pour les chambres. Service: Buffet, ok si vous êtes le premier parce qu'il est rarement ré complète lorsqu'il manque quelque chose. La serveuse au bar réponds au tph privé, alors que des clients attendent au bar..... Chambres: des bungalows dans un bel environnement et propre, mais les chambres sont sales et pas entretenues. Pas balayés, les lis électriques au dessus du lavabo de la salle de bain apparente et pas connectés, une chaussette sous un lit +!le reste..., un robinet pas fixé...... Dégoûtant! Ce qui peu être énervant, c'est de n'a pas tenir compte des commentaires laissés depuis plusieurs mois. Rien n'est fait.
Beautiful garden but rooms need repair
Cuba is packed nowadays. At least half of the tourists are from the USA. With so many tourists and limited capacity for accommodation, Cuba finds it hard to manage its hotels. We were lucky to have Finca Maria Dolores instead of our original choice, Brisas del Mar by the sea. Although it was a disappointment not to have a sea resort, we heard that many groups had to stay in Varadero instead, 4.5 hrs away from Trinidad. At last, we had a place in Trinidad. This place is really very close to the city, 1-2 minutes by car / coach. Finca Maria Dolores has a beautiful garden, green with trees, animals, statues of animals and even a creek, however it should be taken as a project and should be completely refurbished. Then it would be 'THE Hotel in Trinidad' as it has such a special location. Some rooms were large enough with sufficient amenities, but still quite poor. However some rooms, were just not acceptable, like the room at the very end (I think 111) which was so small that you couldn't possibly open your suitcase. No hangers to hang the towels, no bathtub, just a plastic curtain and a tiny tiny room with two beds. There was also a cleanliness problem. The insides of the windows have not been touched for ages. Most of the blankets should be thrown away as they are too old to use. There was also a water problem but it was solved quickly. The pool was okay, not dirty. The breakfast place was dark, but okay. The quality of food could be better.
Disgusting room, rude staff, overpriced.... cochinada de hotel
Where do i start? I went with my Cuban hubby for a honeymoon stay and we chose this place because we were on a budget. Bad idea!!!!!! First off the blankets they provided smelled like they hadnt been washed in ages!!! I almost threw up. The towels they put in put in our rooms were stained!!! I was completely grossed out!!!! Furthermore, when we made the reservations we were told that drinks were included with the dinner. We went to have dinner that first night and the rude host approached us and told us we had to pay for our drinks!!! We were treated like second class citizens simply because my hubby is Cuban and i am Latina. Never again!!!
Infesté de moustiques
O secours les moustiques dans les chambres..... aucun confort dans ces chalets très sombres et peu agréables car on y est. Tres serre !!!!la piscine tres belle et propre lors de notre séjour ! Resto correct sans plus et service bien !
Zanzare killer!
La struttura è tutto sommato carina, con animali che scorrazzano tra gli alberi, anche se un po' fuori dalla città (per spostarvi vi servirà il taxi) ; i bungalow sono un po' antiquati e trasandati, ma tutto sommato non sono male. La piscina è pulita, il ristorante offre un buffet poco vario sia a colazione che a cena, con cibo di qualità veramente scarsa (e pulizia incerta) e una chiassosa e snervante animazione serale da villaggio vacanze. Il problema principale restano le zanzare, data la vicinanza del fiume (accessibile dal retro della piscina) e lo spazio sotto la porta (consiglio di mettere un asciugamano arrotolato, davanti, per evitare che continuino ad entrare) : in una notte ne ho dovute uccidere 83 io e quasi altrettante il mio compagno, per poter dormire senza essere divorati.

Is meer een dierenpark dan hotel. Alles aan dit hotel is slecht van receptie via kamer tot resto. De kamers zijn eigenlijk meer vakantiehuisjes. 's morgens heb je dan ook nog om 4u de hanen die starten met kraaien. Ooh ja de airco laat ook nog te wensen over, geluid van een grasmaaier in je kamer ! Enige pluspunt dat het dicht bij Trinidad ligt.
Awful and extremely overpriced!
Worst stay during a 3 weeks vacation in Cuba. Considering the highly priced bungalow the cleanliness and the bathroom were not acceptable. The breakfast was also quite disappointing. The unfriendly staff stopped filling up the food at 8:30 although the breakfast is until 9:30... Better stay in a Casa particular in Trinidad and don't go to this hotel.
Quaint hotel located about a mile and half from Trinidad
Our cottage was older and in need of an upgrade, however it was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked, there was a safe. The bathroom sink had water pressure. Not so the shower. However, what the room lacked in modern plumbing, the Hotel employees more than made up for. Our stay there was on our very first two days in Cuba. The staffs friendliness and willingness to go out of their way to make us feel welcomed impressed us immediately. The hotel is situated on beautiful grounds. Workers can be seen using machetes trimming the grass and bushes. Native statues are in place and chickens are roaming about. Very Quaint. The breakfast buffet was served in a large open air restaurant. One afternoon a senor was roasting a whole pig on a spit just outside the restaurant. Photo Op. Taxis into town are $5.00 during the day and $8.00 at night. We spent one afternoon at the pool and enjoyed a mojito at the pool bar. The pool was clean, but needed a coat of paint. We really enjoyed the Ma Dolores Hotel and the City of Trinidad. It was certainly a glimpse into the past.
una opción singular
he tenido la oportunidad de visitar el hotel en varias ocasiones, en verdad por la ubicación aporta una singularidad histórica única al estar cerca del lugar histórico donde Hernán Cortés ató sus naves en su estancia en la villa cercana antes de continuar a la conquista de México... el ambiente tranquilo y alusivo a los temas cubanos tradicionales (también el hotel es conocido como " el campesino " _ the farmer, el guajiro cubano) le otorga, junto a temas de paz y tranquilidad cada vez mas escasos en la cercana villa, una experiencia a considerar en cuanto a elección de estancia, su talón de Aquiles resulta la conectividad con el resto del polo turístico, sin auto es imposible considerar esta opción pues esta fuera de cualquier ruta de enlace con las playas y el centro histórico cultural de la villa... un verdadero retiro para el descanso y esparcimiento y la meditación, se debe ir en auto. la comida excelente, muy cubana, la noche campesina también... muchas gracias a su personal por la atención y esmero.
Pleasant
We ended up at this hotel buy mistake as our original hotel let us down! We were pleasantly surprised. The rooms were large and comfortable! Great pool area with bar. Each night there was entertainment and all the staff were friendly.
DREADFUL
One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. Dreadful food, poor rooms and not within walking distance of Trinidad. It would have been impossible to swim in the pool as it was green at one end with a black stained floor at the other. We were booked in for 3 days but left after 2 and we would not have stayed those 2 days if we could have got other accommodation.
Bonitas instalaciones, alejadas de Trinidad
Aunque el hotel consta de un bonito y cuidado jardín y las casitas son cómodas para alojarse, si volviera a Trinidad elegiría un hotel en el centro de la ciudad ya que merece la pena disfrutar del ambiente nocturno que la caracteriza. El desayuno deja bastante que desear.
Un peu déçu
Voilà un hôtel pour lequel j'ai des choses à dire..... Le parc de l'hôtel est très agréable.... mais pour ce qui est de la chambre, alors là je dis stop !!!! Nous étions dans une sorte de chalet qui semblait très sympa à notre arrivée vue de l'extérieur... ça se gâte quand nous ouvrons la porte avec une nuée de moustiques restés enfermés à l'intérieur certainement par la femme de ménage qui avait du laissé auparavant les fenêtres ouvertes. A Cuba l'air est très humide donc il faut bien prendre en compte de ne pas laisser les fenêtres ouvertes sinon moustiques assurés..... Impossible de dormir dans ces conditions, des piqûres toute la nuit... un vrai cauchemar. De plus les chambres sont d'une noirceure pas possible surtout que l'éclairage est très très faible.... La piscine laisse à désirer, des personnes (touristes ou cubains) y mangent à l'intérieur (chips, gâteaux, soda....) c'est franchement pas hygiénique..... Franchement pas agréable du tout.. je ne recommande pas cet hôtel.
Excelente para el disfrute
El Hotel Ma Dolores le invita a disfrutar en contacto directo con la naturaleza, de sentir el paisaje cubano por dentro, podrás encontrar el confort combinado con lo tradicional y natural. Sus anfritiones les complace complacer.
Furchtbar!
Wir hatten zuerst nur ein standard-zimmer mit etwa tausenden von mosquitos. Glücklicherweise könnten wir dann (gegen Aufpreis) in ein Bungalow wechseln. Dieses war eigentlich auch sehr schön. Nur die Klimaanlage war extrem laut und wurde nach außen nur mit styropor halbwegs verkleidet. Mussten also alles nochmal mit Handtücher abdecken wegen den mosquitos. Die unfreundlichkeit des Personals ist unbeschreiblich. Die haben einfach jeden Tag versucht uns iwie zu verarschen um noch Geld rauszuschlagen. Beispielsweise sollten wir uns Abendessen bezahlen weil wir angeblich keine Hotelgäste waren. Eine mega Diskussion. Super peinlich auch vor anderen Gästen. Letztendlich haben sie dann uns geglaubt dass wir Halbpension gebucht habe. Insgesamt war das einer der schlechtesten Aufenthalte in kuba.
Not in walking distance of Trinidad
We stayed for 2 nights here, just enough to explore Trinidad and the surroundings. The hotel sits outside of Trinidad, too far to walk to the village in the hot boiling sun. But no problem for us, since we had a rental car. Or you should hire a taxi everytime you want to go into Trinidad. Hotel surroundings are nice and green, but reception area was hard to find. It is quite relaxing to have a cocktail at the poolbar in the pool after a hot day of Trinidad culture. Breakfast can be in buffet style or a la carte, depending on the number of guests. Both are basic with eggs, fruit, juices, bread and coffee.
A fuir, endroit miteux
voici le pire endroit de notre périple cubain! Après 6 nuits passées dans différentes villes de Cuba, nous avons dû séjourner 2 nuits dans un bungalow vieillot, mal entretenu, aux vitres cassés (ne parlons pas de la baignoire...). Le commentaire précédent de " squat " correspond bien. Nous ne nous attendions pas à un grand luxe mais pas à ce genre d'endroit où les Cubains paient quelques pesos pour accéder à la piscine dans laquelle je n'aurai jamais payé pour y mettre un pied. Les cubains l'envahissent en grand nombre, déversent de l'alcool, y boivent toute la journée sous la musique à fond. Donc ce n'est pas un endroit paisible et agréable comme j'ai pu le lire auparavant. Le petit déjeuner est inexistant! Si l'on n'aime pas les oeufs, on commence la journée le ventre vide. Si bien que nous avons fuit dès le matin cet endroit pour aller passer la journée à visiter Trinidad et profiter de la playa Ancon avec l'appréhension de repasser une nuit la dedans. A Trinidad, autant prendre une chambre chez l'habitant.

Ma Dolores es un lugar ideal para descansar y disfrutar la naturaleza, la atención de su personal de alojamiento es excelente, las habitaciones son buenas acorde a este tipo de lugar, los animales conviven en armonía con los clientes, la tranquilidad y las fiestas campesinas son la diferencia de este lugar, a demás de su proximidad a la ciudad de Trinidad patrimonio de la Humanidad.
Worst hotel I stayed ever stayed at!
This was by far the worst hotel I ever stayed at. And I am probably the least picky person. Firstly, when we arrived at Ma Doleres we were given two cabins that did not at all look like the rooms we were shown when booking. We usually don't find that a big problem, but these rooms were disgusting. It had a problem with the bathroom causing it to smell like sewage. And there were tons of Mosquitos, mosquito blood stains on the wall and dirty sheets. It made us feel gross just being inside the room. So after seeing the room we went to the reception to ask for a different room, they admitted that there was a sewage problem in the room but said that they didn't have any other rooms available. After a lot of discussion, they told us that the next day they would have a upgraded room available for us, this meant that we only had to stay 1 night in the dirty room. We agreed as there was no other option. I think we spent a hour to kill all the Mosquitos in the room. The next day we got a new room. Thankfully this was a lot better, but I still think the hotel still charges way too much for what they offer. Secondly, the hotel has no atmosphere. The included breakfast and dinner doesn't taste good and the service is bad. Everyone is so grumpy. I must say that Trinidad itself is great! I would recommend you to take a b & b in the city. As during my Cuba trip I preferred private hotels (b & b) a lot more over state owned hotels like ma Doleres. The service is just horrible in the Cuban state owned hotels and the room and food quality is very poor.
Good place, clean rooms
We stayed here with a group of people and all got the nice cabins (there are apparently also some older cabins that are not as good). The cabins are very clean and this place is quite nice. It was very warm when we were here, but the air condition did its job. Breakfast is very basic, you get a choice of eggs and they bring it, nothing special. The location of breakfast is open without fans, this makes it that it can become quite warm.
Heeft alles om top te zijn maar..
Mooie cabanas aan de rivier. Met airco, kluis, koelkast. Zwembad. Ruim restaurant. Geen wifi. En behulpzame receptioniste. Maar de service was niet ok. De kleine dingen.... bv op ons 2 persoonsbed lag een eenpersoonslakens... pas als je vraagt om te veranderen maken ze er 2 eenpersoonslakens van. De wc bril zat los... de batterij van de kluis was leeg en konden we niet gebruiken.. het ontbijt start een half uur later dan aangegeven.. vervelend als je een groepsuitstap gepland hebt en je niet kan wachten.. heel mooi zwembad. Maar rond 17 h wordt het overspoeld door locals die na hun werk even komen afkoelen en met kleren er in duiken. Niet echt proper noch hygiënisch En veel lawaai want ze hebben hun eigen rum mee en drinken die overvloedig aan de fles in het zwembad leeg.
Un sitio muy agradable
Las cabañas están en muy buen estado, son muy amplias, limpias y el entorno es inmejorable. La única pega es el desayuno, que sólo es buffet cuando hay un número suficiente de huéspedes. Se puede llegar al pueblo sin problema y las excursiones por la zona merecen la pena.
Una visita interesante
Los martes y los jueves se puede disfrutar de una verdadera fiesta campesina, con una exquisita comida criolla el cerdo asado en púa un espectáculo, las piscina tiene a su alrededor hermosas obras de arte como son esculturas de la jutia y el caballo, el ambiente campestre es muy acogedor
la surprise du circuit
la guide nous a fait un peu peur en arrivant à l hôtel tres rural ! ! la surprise fut bonne pour presque tous le monde ! avions chacun notre bungalow tres vaste avec quelques petits problèmes de " bestioles " et d eau coulant peu !!!! mais c est le charme du voyage de decouvrir leur façon de nous accueillir super ambiance le soir avec cochon à la broche et spectacle de danse ou nous avons participé avec eux !!!!!
Hutjes claustrofobisch, zwembad rumoerig en vol apedronken cubanen
Zit even buiten Trinidad, maar voor 5 cuc neem je een taxi. Park ziet er mooi uit evenals het restaurant. De oudere hutjes waarin wij logeerden zijn klein en donker. Watervoorziening en hygiëne matig. Het lawaai en de overlast van de dronken Cubanen bij het zwembad was buitengewoon vervelend. Geen stoeltjes op je terrasje bij de hut en de hele tent sluit vroeg, zodat je niets te drinken meer kunt krijgen als je terug komt uit Trinidad.
Sunparks op z'n Cubaans!
Het is eigenlijk een bungalowpark ietsje buiten Trinidad! Het restaurant is echt beneden peil en het ontbijt trekt op niks! Het zwembad valt redelijk mee! Maar gelukkig zaten wij hier maar 2 nachtjes! Eigenlijk moet je in Trinidad écht in het centrum logeren, veel gezelliger!
Avoid this property unless you want " Cuban experience " from 20 years ago..
Not one to give terrible reviews but this place really needs help. The beds were like bricks. The pillows..... flat. The staff tried but no cigar. The grounds are nice and quiet. The food.... oh boy.... do your self a favor and eat elsewhere. We came late, so instead of looking for a paladar, we eat at the hotel. The worst meal we had in Cuba. The meat was dry and over-cooked and the fish smelled bad. We fed the dogs and cats hanging out in the restaurant. We tried breakfast, more so to feed the animals, and it was no different.
Bungalow décrépis dans un cadre bucolique…
Cet établissement a déplu à tous les participants: chambres exiguës ne permettent d'ouvrir ses bagages, pas de lampes de chevet, moustiques omniprésents dans la chambre et dans la douche, jour sous la porte d'entrée… rien de positif à signaler. Repas du soir convenable, petit-déjeuner pas prêt à l'heure annoncée et minable. En pleine nature, seul côté agréable.
Eine ungute Überraschung
Nachdem wir uns über die großen Zimmer, die Idylle mit Ruhe und den Pool gefreut hatten entdeckten wir, nach und nach die Mängel und das waren nicht wenige.. Der Pool versifft, die Liegen schmutzig mit Schimmel auf der Unterseite. Das weibliche Personal im Lokal die personifizierte Unfreundlickeit. Moskitos in Schwärmen, die nach dem Putzdienst weg waren. Wurden die wegeputzt oder gespritzt? Diese Anlage war vielleicht mal vor Jahren empfehlenswert aber seit langem wurde nicht das mal Nötigste gemacht Da haben wir zum Teil selbst Hand angelegt.. den Dreck von Jahren aus der Führung der Tür gekratzt und mit (Sonnen) Öl geölt. Dann lies sie sich wieder öffnen. Kurzum, das war die schlechteste Bleibe auf unserer Cuba-Reise.
Das Hotel ist nicht empfehlenswert
Diese Bungalowanlage hat ihre besten Tage hinter sich. Es ist eine Durchlaufstation der Tagestouristen und entsprechend ist das Personal genervt und sehr unfreundlich. Es ist die reinste Massenabfertigung. Der Kaffee zum Frühstück ist ungenießbar (Muckefuck) ! Der Nachfrage nach einem richtigen Kaffee aus der Maschine (gegen Bezahlung 1, 50 CUC und am 2. Tag 2, 00 CUC!) kam das Servicepersonal nur nach " Diskussion " und Hartnäckigkeit unsererseits sehr widerwillig nach. Das Frühstücksbuffet war nach dem Ansturm der Tagestouristen abgefressen, den Tisch musste man sich selbst säubern (das Personal war unaufmerksam und unwillig). Der Pool war schmutzig und marode und ungepflegt. Das Positive war die Ruhe, das sehr große Zimmer (sauber) mit Rundum-Balkon. Achtung Moskitoalarm! Allerdings wären einige Wartungsarbeiten dringend notwendig! Die Sicherheitskräfte waren alle sehr nett. Fazit: Bis auf die ruhige Lage und die Zimmergröße schlechteste Unterkunft und absolut schlechtester Service in unserem 3 wöchigen Kubaurlaub! Diese Unterkunft sollte man meiden und aus dem DER-Tour-Katalog gestrichen werden.
Super Hotel und sehr idyllisch
Zur Abreise wurden wir freundlich empfangen und das Gepäck direkt abgenommen! Schneller checkin und angenehmer Bungalow erfreuten uns. Nach einer entspannten Runde im Pool ging es nach Trinidad (2min entfernt). Das Abendessen und Frühstück sind sehr lecker. Abends gaben sich 4! Angestellte sich die Mühe uns eine Kokosnuss zu pflücken da wir nachfragten! Extrem große Freundlichkeit in diesem Hotel!!!

Simple mais correct
Bungalow dans la nature qui mériterait quelques petites réfections, sobre mais correct. La literie est en bon état. Un mince filet d'eau pour prendre sa douche (Attention à ne pas trop se savonner ce jour là). Environnement agréable et repas champêtre (cochon de lait grillé) fort sympathique. Un réveil au chant du coq et petit déjeuner copieux Une halte agréable dans son ensemble. Un bon standard cubain que je conseillerai volontiers..
Genoten in Trinidad van het rustieke centrum en de levendige muziek
Trinidad is een prachtige oude stad, een openlucht museum. Mooie gebouwen en interessante musea. Leuk om rond te wandelen en bij de prachtige huizen binnen te gaan kijken. Hotel Dolores ligt net buiten het centrum en biedt een goed restaurant met uitstekende live muziek en dans.

Cadre bucolique à proximité de Trinidad. Prestations en rapport au standard cubain. Personnel agréable et en nombre. Restauration moyenne. Animation correcte. Profitez de l'environnement, de la piscine et du bar attenant.
Joli endroit
Très joli endroit, exterieurs aussi et bien entretenus, bungalows agréables. Seul bémol comme partout à Cuba: notre cuvette de toilettes ayant été cassée, celle - ci n'a pas été remplacée depuis et petits soucis d'eau (coupure pendant un petit moment). Sinon relativement propre (lits et linges) mais comme partout à Cuba, il ne faut pas être trop regardant (poussière, nettoyage derrière les portes ou sous le lit...) Petite piscine sympa. Arriver tôt pour le petit déjeuner, car s' il y a un car, vous n'aurez plus rien! Situé à l'extérieur de la ville mais tout près, pas idéal pour les gens à pied.

2 nuits agréable, personnels sympathique a l écoute du touriste, manque de la pression dans les tuyauteries, gênant pour la douche, manque entretien sur la piscine et autour sur mobilier, espace vert très bien entretenu, coin restauration agréable
No recomendado
Llegamos después de un largo viaje y cansados y queriamos descansar por el entorno que envuelve al hotel. Para empezar el trato de los empleados es malo: En recepción aparte de actitud seria y seca con nosotros, no se enteran de las atracciones que hay en los alrededores (no tienen ni una pizca de información, ni flayers, ni mapas para que te guies). En comedor había un camarero con una actitud más que pasota con los turistas, incluso llegamos al porche donde se servía el desayuno y no había música o hilo musical (donde en Cuba a cualquier hotel que vayas escuchas música por doquier) y le pedimos amablemente que nos pusiese un poquito la radio aunque fuese, y nos dijo con muy mala cara que no funcionaba el transistor. La sorpresa fue que después del desayuno fuimos a la habitación y cuando salíamos del hotel en para visitar el pueblo, la música funcionaba perfectamente para los empleados que allí estaban desayunando. A parte de la mala gente que lo lleva, el hotel tiene una calidad excelente en las habitaciones (falla el agua caliente a menudo) y sobre todo en sus alrededores que tiene un paraje natural impresionante.
une bonne surprise
Je m'attendais au pire après la lecture des commentaires sur cet hôtel et finalement, nous l'avons trouvé très bien pour un 2*. Je trouve certains commentaires vraiment durs, n'oublions pas que nous sommes à Cuba et surtout face à un hôtel estimé à 2*, on ne peut pas tout avoir. Le site ressemble à un camping où se trouvent plusieurs bungalows. Nous en avions 5 (car nous étions 12) et avons tous apprécié l'espace plutôt grand (salon / chambre), la propreté, bonne literie, mini-frigo et surtout le calme. Nous avons tous passé une très bonne nuit. Climatisation un peu sommaire et bruyante mais efficace, nous l'avions coupée la nuit. Prévoir si besoin un produit anti-moustiques car on est à côté d'une petite rivière. Eviter d'ouvrir les fenêtres de la salle de bains, elles cassent vite ;-) Petit déjeuner pas très varié mais suffisant dans cadre joliment rustique servi sur grandes tablées avec choix en plat principal entre omelette / œufs ou croque-monsieur; gâteaux, fruits, muffins disponibles sur la table. La piscine est certes petite et carrelage un peu abîmé mais tout le monde a apprécié un peu de fraicheur en fin de journée. Nous n'y avons passé qu'une nuit et sommes allés dîner à Trinidad. Globalement je conseille cet hôtel pour une étape d'une nuit au calme.
Lovely place, animal noise can be a problem
I loved the country ambience of this place but I could have done without cockrels crowing thoughout the night outside my window. The hog roast was great and being offered fresh coconut milk with rum by those doing the cooking was great. The dogs hanging around the restaurant were Ok, it was the cats jumping on the tables licking on the butter that were the most concerning for the appreciation of the restuarant. The rooms were great with a mini bar offering room to store your water and sodas to go with the rum that you could buy on site. They had some caged animals on site including a water rat, but he did look a bit lonely. Caged animals should, at least, have a partner..
Bof!!
Hotel excentré de trinidad, bungalow assez grand et correcte, nous n'avons pas mangé sur place donc pas d'avis, la piscine n'est pas propre est ferme à 18h, donc dommage pour se détendre le soir en revenant de rando. Les bouteilles dans le frigo de la chambre sont payantes et rien ne l'indiquait. Nous avions une voiture de location, ils ont voulu nous faire payer le parking, sur trois nuits l'eau a été coupé tous les jours donc quand on n'est sous la douche sympa!! Et elle a été remis en 2 mm chrono en demandant à l'accueil. Le cadre est sympa verdoyant.

La struttura è composta da case mobili carine e ben arredate a parte il bagno vecchio e maleodorante con poca acqua che esce dalla doccia. Avevamo la mezza pensione ma il ristorante è stato un flop per la cena, abbiamo atteso più di un' ora nonostante ci fossero pochi clienti, meglio la colazione. La cosa più negativa è purtroppo la distanza dal centro circa 1, 500 km, purtroppo ci è stato cambiato dal tour operator il nostro hotel originariamente scelto in centro.
Great and relaxed place at walking distance from Trinidad
We enjoyed our stay a lot at the Finca in Trinidad! The cabaña we staid in was simple and clean and well kept and the swimming pool is very nice. The service is ok, definitely when one speaks a little bit Spanish. Great place and we'd definitely go again!
Indecente!!!
Grazie alla Eden viaggi che ci ha cambiato hotel all'ultimo momento, facendoci approdare in questo posto, che fatto di bungalow, poteva essere un paradiso, invece è stata l'esperienza peggiore di tutta la nostra " carriera " di viaggiatori:Non siamo persone esigenti, facilmente ci adattiamo, ma qui più che adattarci sarebbe stato da fare retromarcia immediatamente, ma essendo un gruppo di 15 persone, abbiamo pernottato. La stanza sfruttata talmente male da non permetterci di aprire due valige, non esitevano finestre, l'unica cosa vetrata scorrevole era bloccata, il condizionatore, rumorosissimo, non si poteva accendere. La doccia impraticabile, a qualcuno le maniglie sono rimaste in mano, nel lavandino ospiti delle rane. Meno male che quella sera siamo usciti per la cena, perchè vista la colazione del mattino, non so cosa avremmo mangiato!
Terrible Experience
I Booked 3 Nights at a Travel Agency and received a prepaid Voucher for Maria Dolores in May 2012. When we arrived in December 2012 - 7 month after booking and paying - no room for the booked nights was available. They Sent us to another Hotel, After staying there for One Night in a room with damaged lock (so we couldn't go neither to breakfast nor to the beach together) we had to Return to Maria Dolores. In the evenings they hired musicans for dinner (we had booked halfboard) who Asked for tipping very aggressive. Also a " parking Guide " was asking for Money every day on the Parking Lot. The room was OK but too small for 2 big suitcases. Breakfast was good in comparison to Other cuban hotels, but Dinner wasn't. At Checkout they accused us of having stolen one towel. We lost 15 Minutes arguing before they believed that it was a mistake made by the chambermaid.
Part of the Cuban 'experience
When presented in our travel papers it looked so good. Simple but clean bungalows near the village of Trinidad. Simple and clean is okay, but simple and not clean is absolutely not okay. Missing shower curtains, leaking toilet (we changed bungalow for that). Swimming pool that got dirtier by the hour, with well-stocked bar but moody waiter. We got breakfast and dinner (skipped the last one), the manager of the place was very proud of his kitchen and the meals produced. Service was varied, depending on the person waiting on you. I wouldn't recommend this place but for the experience! there is a shop on the premises, but I've never seen it open for customers. receptionist speaks a little english, bring your dictionary!

Hotel composé de deux sorte de bungalows!! à éviter les bungalows en dur horribles!!propreté très douteuse et sanitaires vieillots mauvaise odeur. Petit humides et cassé donc surtout prendre un bungalow classique avec : SdB eau chaude très peu de pression chambre spacieuse et lumineuse vue sur piscine et parc. Piscine mauvais état pas très propre. Petit dej très très leger pour tous les repas aller dans un Paladar à Trinidad
Für eine Kubarundreise ganz okay
Im Rahmen einer Kubarundreise waren wir hier für drei Nächte untergebracht. Die Bungalowanlage befindet sich etwas außerhalb von Trinidad, für ein paar CUC ist man mit dem Taxi aber ohne Probleme Tags und Nachts in ein paar Minuten in Trinidad. Die einzelnen Bungalows sind relativ groß, mit einer Küchenzeile im Wohnschlafraum sowie Bad ausgestattet, schon relativ abgewohnt, aber sauber. Für den Preis in Kuba absolut okay, man muss ich klar sein, dass man eine einfache Unterkunft gebucht und auch bezahlt hat. Die Rezeption und das Restaurant sind nur überdacht, im Restaurant hatte man leider oft das Gefühl mehr lästig als willkommen zu sein, Sperrstunde war um 10. Uhr abends, dann konnte man sich entweder ins Zimmer zurückziehen oder nach Trinidad fahren. So ganz genau nahm man es auch nicht mit den Preisen, mit dem Wechselgeld erst recht nicht - wir haben es gut sein lassen und dem Personal die paar CUC Zusatzverdienst gelassen. Pool war vorhanden, wurde aber nicht genutzt. Was leider sehr nervig war, waren die unzähligen Hunde und Katzen, die mehr als krank aussahen.. und die ständig im Restaurant beim Frühstück unterm Tisch streiften - hier hat mir einfach geekelt. Vergaß man die Bungalowtüre zu schließen, kam es schon vor, dass sich Hund und Katze im Bungalow verirrte.
Finger weg von dieser Absteige
Da wir leider kein anderes Hotel zu den von uns erforderlichen Zeitpunkt im Raum Trinidad buchen konnten, sind wir in dieser Finca - leider um diese eine Nacht zu viel - gelandet. Der einzige Pluspunkt war die Erreichbarkeit als Alleinreisen mit einen Mietauto, da es direkt an der Einfahrtstraße nach Trinidad liegt und daher sehr leicht auffindbar ist. Das war jedoch der einzige positive Aspekt dieser Finca. Das Zimmer war in einen - auch für Kuba - unsererseits nicht akzeptablen Zustand. Die Begrüßung im Zimmer erfolgte durch das Vorfinden von Tieren, extrem lauter Klimaanlage und lediglich durch die Möglichkeit des Steuern mittels herausziehen des Steckers aus der Steckdose, im " Bad " war das " fließende " Wasser lediglich Umgebunstemperatur und nur tropfend aus Wasserhahn als auch Dusche vorhanden, das Zimmer generell befand sich in einen absolut undiskutablen Zustand. Das Frühstück gleichfalls eine Frechh..., drei Sück Obst und eine mehr als von Fett triefendes Omlett, Butter, das wars!!! Generell war das Servicepersonal in diesen Lokal mehr als untalentiert und nicht von übermäßigen Fleiß und Aufmerksamkeit strotzend. Dies war abends genauso wie morgens. Dieses Lokal kann nur durch die vielen - lediglich Tagestouristen - leben, denn N i e m a n d kann oder würde diese Absteige je Weiterempfehlen. Wie gesagt als Abschluß: Finger weg von dieser Absteige, das für uns schlechteste Hotel in unseren 3 Wochen in Kuba
